Timeline Year Change (Suggestion for the actual passage of time)

This is a case of the community wants something, but the staff wants something else. It should always be down to the community to decide things and staff to implement them. The community wants a time jump more than two years. They should do it. Without us there is no Star Wars: Chaos. The entire, "Tyranny wins," isn't how the site is now. I don't understand the idea of wanting people to continue to moan or start threads such as this when they could simply be reasonable and do what is being asked? It is like some people on this site like to be disagreeable simply for the sake of it.
