So this is a brief timeline of the lead up to and progress of the event. We have plenty of time so this may change depending on need.

• 22/8 – 28/8 – Firm up plans and outline, start preparing art.
• 29/8 – 4/9 – Competition for event planet. Examine factory rewards.
• 5/9 – 11/9 – Finalise staff involvement and introduce campaign thread as preview.
• 12/9 – 18/9 – Recruit members and tease event to members.
• 19/9 – 25/9 – Release details of event over time. New forum created.
• 26/9 – 2/10 – Event starts 28/9 (Oz time).
• 3/10 – 9/10 – Event progresses. Introduction of new thread if required on 4/10.
• 10/10 - 16/10 - Event concludes. Rewards allocated and forum moved to archives.

Urgh. The US needs to update the way we use dates. MM/DD or DD/MM. Or else the world needs to agree on one format.

Question, specifically towards the end. Is a week enough time to run the actual Event? Is that enough time to let everyone post IC and finish whatever plots/duels they've started?

I've allocated up to 2 weeks when I'm on holiday, and the option to continue it is there as long as needed.

Usually 1-2 weeks is enough though.

Okay cool. Since I don't typically follow Events, I wasn't sure if that was enough time for the Event.

Timeline looks good. From the amount of art responses we've already gotten, I'm not concerned with the allocated time for that.

Today/Tomorrow I'm going to create the forum and do the full announcement.

The first prequel thread is running. The second will start this week.

I've pushed back the start a little to the 28th because I'll be away next weekend.
