With the new rules in place, we can make semi-unique Pyronium droids without dev for Archangel. Or Laminanium ones. Thoughts on use? Laminanium is self-repairing and can regenerate damage (subs using it have been approved).


Six-O's Droid body uses Pyronium for the circuits and core components, protecting the software. Combined with conventional droid addons, this allows the assassin droid to absorb EMP, ion and the like.


Keep in mind that semi-unique means there can only be 10. For a Pyronium droid, I'd make the circuits and core components out of Pyronium, the rest would be made out of normal metal alloys. Question is what type would be the most useful. Specialised assassin droids (like the HK or IG droids), HRDs, droideka-like tank droid? Admittedly one can make more than one sub.


2. And now Firemane can build gigantic civlian stations/ships. And limited production phrik tanks, ships, armour etc.


3. Should I sub an Eldorai Cult of Reason/League of Militant Atheists for the Shadow Knights?

Pyronium could be very useful for specialised droids. I think you'd likely want to go to extremes with them. Infiltration HRDs immune to ion could be very handy, as could a big artillery or bombardment droid. Ion is the conventional method for taking out such an opponent, so I think that having it be heavily resistant could be quite handy.

Yes, gigantic stations are something I'd like to build, along with some smaller semi-unique ones and some big ships too.

Sure! If they identify the Force as not a goddess given gift then that sounds like a perfectly reasonable group. Probably fringe even for Shadow Knights though.

Re Infiltration HRDs, could you clarify? Do you mean a specialised version of the Infiltrators you made (the HRDs that are better at passing as organics, but are weaker in combat than the standard ones)? Alternately one could just upgrade the baseline HRDs.


Big artillery/bombardment droid could work as a tank type one. We already built a Super Droideka (the Overlord), so something like that could be pretty mean. Especially if it has a deflector shield type thing.

Yes, upgrade an infiltrator perhaps so that it's capable of tanking ion fire.

And yes, a special Overlord which resists ion would make it extremely powerful.

• Warship with magnetic pulse weapons and shield leeches. Maybe sub a weapon.

• Some warship for AA - actually they need a proper fleet. Cruisers and subcapital ships would be a start.
• Beskar juggernaut war droid or war engine because why the hell not.
• Demon engine.
• You wanted to do an Mk4 bolter based on some British weapon you saw.

• Mobile HQ for Enyo.
