To Gramos [Ask]

| [member="Rave Merrill"] | [member="Romeo Sin"] |

Following the sudden appearance of the Scion-class Stealth Corvette in Protectorate space, a certain Sith Lord has been investigating who the ship belonged to prior to [member="Romeo Sin"] claiming it for his own. After boarding the ship during it's sudden appearance and consequentially discovering the Sith Abattar, after surviving the many death traps on board, Darth Ayra has been led to the Gramos system to discover it's former owner and uncover the mystery surrounding the ship and answer an all important question...

...Was there more to discover, other than the relic she now claimed ownership too?
Gramos system, Hazard Beauty
Hangar bay

Darth Ayra emerged in the hangar bay of the Scion-class Stealth Corvette. Her second visit had been plain sailing in comparison to her first. Perhaps not as awarding as the first time, however. The Sith Abattar rested neatly in a locker on board the Niathal-class transport Darth Ayra used to get around the galaxy. That had been the first reason for coming on board the ship, upon the lure of the Abattar and the other artifacts that had rested there, which had all subsequently lured the Sith Lord and several others to them.

It had been precisely that lure to the Stealth Corvette in the first place that had drawn Ayra back. What had happened to the other artifacts she felt the first time? Where were they now? Who had taken them? How did they arrive on the Corvette in the first place? Who was the former owner of the ship? What else did they know? These questions and more were what drew Ayra back. She had uncovered little, but had garnered something. Gramos. That was where the ship had come from before it's discovery and consequential raid to the hands of some of the galaxies most powerful Force-sensitives.

Approaching the Niathal, Ayra waited for Romeo to send her off. The Hazard Beauty was cloaked from detection, just like she had asked it's captain and her new friend to do so. When they parted ways, the Sith Lord would head to the planets surface and take her investigation with her, to answer all her questions.

"Beauty notify us of anyone coming into the system, or any signatures nearby." He commanded the ship. That was the great thing about this ship, now that it had a AI on it, it could practically fly itself, but Romeo knew, sooner or later...he would need a crew.
"I would like to give you my full name. It is Romeo, Romeo Sin." He doubted he had any rep behind his name, everything he had done was under the radar, and apart from the back they were not THAT big of a deal.
"Maybe tell me what were looking for? Exactly?''

"Hm. Could it hurt to tell the truth?" Ayra thought. She lifted her gaze to Romeo as he arrived. "Gramos was the last location the Beauty was in. I think it's last owner was here before we found it and you took it for your own. I want to find the owner of the ship because I am very interested in the cargo it had before I and several others boarded and took all of it."

-Interesting...-
He nodded at her in approval. "There could be distress beacons maybe..or.." He thought for a moment, because the only real way to get it out was from the AI.
He rubbed his chin, he stood from chair, and walked over to some controls, and dashboards.
-This is why I need a crew.-
He cracked his fingers.
"I'm guessing you've tried searching all the ship's logs?" He hovered his fingers over the controls, waiting for her response.

"That is what I spent doing the entire trip to Morellia. Despite your access codes, the AI or some other form of software is encrypting information, of which I don't have the knowledge or technology to break. All I garnered was Gramos and here we are."

"Please do not activate any distress beacons. The answers will come in time."

Romeo nodded at her again. "The only thing we can do is sit, and wait Ms. Drey." He started watching the scanners for any bings, and made sure the cloaking device still held.
"Damn it this is why I need a crew, this is way to big for two people, and a AI!" He cursed outloud. Though he had a few people in mind to start filling his empty chairs.
-I've never been to this part of the galaxy.- He pondered to himself. [member="Alicia Drey"]

Considering that the vanished vessel had taken all that Rave held dear, its fate had occupied her thoughts for a while now. Irony of ironies, she'd been called in to treat one of the women who had succumbed to her anti-intruder measures, and from there she'd heard that her nice new ship had been stripped bare of her treasures.

Her mood could be charitably described as homicidal.

Take it back a notch or two, a handful of years, to when she began blood-trailing everything important. Now those blood trails pointed across the galaxy, but when one of her trails showed up over Gromas 16, the Blood Moon, the world that held the seat of her corporate power, she most definitely noticed. A modified Haran'uliik frigate, the Lethewalker, arced up from the main mining facility as if bound for another of Gromas' moons, not coming too close to the empty space where she sensed her blood trail call to her.

Her main gun, a massive Vulcan cannon, could do nothing to the corvette's beskar hull -- and seeing as she couldn't spot the blood trail on sensors, it was a safe bet that her vault ship was home. Her five huge deck cannons, mass driver/ion cannon combinations, each as powerful as two full-sized turbolasers, were only of half utility. The mass drivers could shake up components, eventually breach hull, but 'eventually' didn't cut it.

She armed only the ion cannon half of the deck cannons as the frigate turned on a dime to face its prey. Her mind probed out ahead briefly, found no crew of substance. She knew that ship, knew that the rogue AI that had driven her away could only control the weapons through droids, knew that most of the droids had been destroyed. She knew that the ship's cloak, thrust trace dampers, and gravitic modulators kept it perfectly stealthed, its beskar hull kept it feeling safe...

So when the Lethewalker oriented on that blood trail, with her at the helm controls of her own flagship, she brought the frigate into line to point at the place where the blood trail was tangible to her. She did so at relatively close range, two klicks or so. The goal was to send an unspoken message, something along the lines of this-

You may have the holy trinity of stealth, no crew to wake-track, and a quiet approach vector. But I can still find you. Because that's my ship.

So far she made no telepathic nor sensor contact.

Ayra lifted her gaze to the AI. //Ship approaching our vector. Armed.// She averted gaze from the panel where the AI communicated back to Romeo. "We have company. But they haven't fired on us. Strange." She turned to the Niathal transport behind her and lifted her hand. Typing in her access codes to open the door and lowered it's landing ramp to allow her to climb up into it. She turned back to Romeo. "When I disembark, you should probably leave the system."

The Sith Lord turned into her ship and raised the ramp back up, sealing the door afterwards. She made her way into the cockpit, performed a pre flight check and then claimed the control stick that would allow her to fly. Impulse engines activated, landing clamps were retracted and the Hazard Beauty's doors opened so as to allow her to fly out into space.

On the Lethewalker's radar a Niathal-class transport had seemingly emerged out of no where; and there was a transmission being sent to the Frigate: "My name is Ayra. I wish to talk to your commanding officer."

"Roger that." He said as he awaited for the woman to head off to her ship, and leave, or do whatever she was going to do. When she finally detached, and away, Romeo punched in the codes for a quick jump out. He nestled in his throne chair, and with that the stars, and planets became white lines, and he was off. "Shuttle at mark two two, Niathal-class. Hyperspace event, no sensor contact, mark two three. Shuttle's hailing us."

Rave's hands tightened on the controls, her jaw knotted. "Put it through."

"My name is Ayra. I wish to talk to your commanding officer."

The Force burned in her chest, reality warping to fit her state of mind. "Ayra, my name is Rave Merrill. The cloaked ship that just left belongs to me, along with everything aboard. I lost fifty-five crewmen when it was taken. Talk."

[member="Rave Merrill"]

Ayra's holographic image appeared before Rave Merrill. Hooded, face concealed, long robes. She reeked Sith. "I found your ship in the middle of Protectorate space. I boarded to investigate and was attacked by several droids on board. I and my ship were trapped on board until now. It is under the command of a man I do not know. He tended to my injuries and then set me on my way."

"Everything on board was taken by others that boarded, that I know of from the ships CCTV."

[member="Rave Merrill"]

"The ships last known position was this star system. The man that has taken control of the ship and it's AI brought me here by it's command. I wished to make contact with it's former owner, so we could make arrangements to track down and locate the items that went missing from the ship."

[member="Rave Merrill"]

"I sensed the artifacts that were on the ship when I boarded; and I have one of them with me. Anyone who can gain access to such items or create a ship such as the one I nearly died upon could be considered a potential friend. May I board your ship?"

[member="Alicia Drey"]

"I put a Nightsister blood trail on everything important, Ayra. I can feel the Sith abattar you have -- my abattar. If you hadn't offered it back, you would be dead by now.

"Dock and come aboard. I'll meet you at the airlock."

[member="Rave Merrill"]

There are some rules to acquisition of things. One of them was offering something in exchange for something more. The trick was bartering with the person you were dealing with. So, when Ayra offered the Sith Abattar, it would be in exchange for tracking down the other items that the Hazard Beauty had once held.

That was, at least, her plan.

She docked the Niathal inside the Lethewalker and emerged at the top of it's landing ramp in her Sith robe, waiting for Rave to reveal herself.

[member="Alicia Drey"]

The Lethewalker's very small bay held twelve tightly stacked, Fringe-built Hammer-B LACs and two other Niathal-class shuttles. The woman who strode across the bay, bootheels clicking on the deck, was about three inches shorter and eighty pounds lighter. She wore a standard shipsuit, nothing ornate or formal, save for the sword strapped to her left hip and the antique DL-44 on her right thigh.

"I said the airlock, Ayra. My abattar."

[member="Rave Merrill"]

"The chute that connects the Niathal to air docks was damaged by one of the droids as I boarded and hasn't had the chance to be repaired. So I couldn't dock with your air dock, even if I wanted too." She strode down the landing ramp and off the transport to the foot of it. Her hand lifted and the Force closed the doors leading into the ship, only leaving the ramp lowered to the ground.

She lifted her chin slightly and locked her yellow eyes on Rave Merrill. "It isn't your Abattar anymore, Merrill. It is currently in my possession. But it could be yours again, if you're willing to talk."
