On Monastery there is a mountain range near the equator. It slices across the planet's middle, tall and proud, rising from the rainforests and creating a circle on the surface to balance out the planet's heavenly rings. Within these mountains, high in the cool mists of the upper reaches, a protected valley was carved from the stone over a millennia ago. The nearest safe landing for large ships is many kilometers away, though smaller, more moderately sized vessels could land directly in the valley itself.

It's location high in the mountains moderated the heat of the forests below. The air was heavy with moisture, but thin from the altitude, cool and refreshing. A waterfall on the south end offer the music of running water, a spray of a million diamond droplets in the air around it. Two pathways through the mountains, to the east and the west, passed beneath circular stone monoliths, remnants of an order far older but long lost.

Here, Bethany Kismet decided to build the foundations of the Sacred Lotus.

She had help. [member="Hal Terrano"] and [member="Michael Sardun"] had come with her here from the beginning. The three labored, with the Force and with their hands, as the white stone walls of Sanctuary grew in the protected shadow of the valley. Stone by stone, walkway by walkway, the buildings began to take shape, the over all simplicity calming and grounding.

There was so much work to do. And so few hands to do it.

And yet, somehow, word spread. Slowly, people started to come. Some, merely to see what these crazy Jedi were doing in the middle of the mountains. Some however, came with willing hands and hearts.

A place of Sanctuary. A place of peace. Where the people here would find ways to reach that across the war torn galaxy to people in even greater need of that succor. Bethany made no secret of her plans here. To build an Order that would offer an open hand, rather than a closed fist.

They called it the Order of the Sacred Lotus.

And they had so much work to do.

It had been over a year since Faith had decided to isolate herself from the galaxy, so far away from anything that not even the shadow that lived in her mind could reach her. There was nothing but light in her, and yet a corrupted, twisted man had forced her to do many horrible things in his name, controlling her thoughts and memories with the dark side, drugs and torture. Her first step had been to throw away her saber, so she had nothing on her to bring harm to anyone, not matter if good or evil, should this creature return to command her. But that never had been enough, she always felt so much regret over all of this that it slowly eroded her mind, and not even in isolation and solitude she had found the strength to get over it.

She wasn't sure what exactly it had been that pulled her back in the civilized part of the galaxy, but one day she felt it, a light that filled her from within, a calling that reached out for her. It only took a trip to some bar on the edge of the known galaxy to pass word on, about a new group that had risen with the sole purpose of helping the less fortunate, not by fighting but by healing and supporting those that had to suffer. Her mother had been a healer, and while she had been part of the jedi order she always had wished to become one herself. Maybe that was what the touch of the light had meant. That fate had decided to finally set her free from guilt and regret, by giving back to the galaxy.

Monastery was a beautiful world, at least compared to the many dark holes she had lived in during her live. With nothing but as small bag hanging over he shoulder, and the the yellow and white robe she was wearing she walked between the mountains, until her eyes finally meet what looked like a structure slowly taking shape. So the stories were true. Not sure what to do or say, she simply stood before the soon to be temple, in her eyes a mix of being absolutely lost and a faint shimmer of hope.

Andy landed the old hammerhead corvette on a plane field and went out walking with headphones on. Hex stayed on the ship, he still didnt know what other gadgets had the rare droid, and he still had to try to use him for a party. When he discovered that he controlled the force he knew two things. Light or dark side. He read that in history class on Naboo, before his parents moved to Nal Hutta. War, death, the force, and a lot of lightsabers. And he didnt liked to rule over others, and wasnt selfish so light side would be the best.

The whole area was beautiful so he just advance. And he needed a little green in his life right now. Between the years living in a urban area like Nal Hutta or Coruscant for a few months... He saw some people landing and he approach with confident to the gathering point in a monastery. It would be a long day meeting everyone but it would be fun. Maybe they could start a party and he could play some of his remix and then the alcohol and the ladies..."Better to relax before this idea becomes real"

Compassion was something ApeX understood.

Although they made their fortune on the field of battle, those who first founded the organization once knew a different life. They were not always men of the sword and blaster - but rather the hammer or pickaxe. The original generation, Commander-excluded, were of the working variety. In order to get through each and every day, they depended upon one another in the mines. They became brothers, bound by the black of the earth. Thus did they learn compassion. Thus did they know friendship...and thus did their hearts move at the news of the Order.

A place to pick up the pieces. A place of compassion.

They came as a small horde - Behemoth ape men with power hammers held over their shoulders. Together did they disembark from various shuttles that had ferried them to the world below. The trek was relatively brief, and soon the relative quiet of the budding sanctuary would be met with boisterous conversation.

"Dis air is makin' me moist!"

"Striok, do you always have to be such a poet?"

"Wa can I say? I'ave a way with wurds!"

"You have a way with stupid."

Thunderous chuckles boomed from the behemoths until they came upon the Jedi. Their Commander, Malok, then raised a hand to cease the noise. He stepped forward, offering a polite decline of his head. "Greetings, I am Commander Malok. And this-" he motioned to his men. "is ApeX. Rumor has it you lot could use a hand, so we brought several." With that said, the ape-men set about getting to work. Powerhammers began to sing upon stone, paving the way for easier construction.

It was the beginning of a long day.

It was the beginning of a good day.

What was it, to be a Jedi?

This was a question that needed an answer. Years after the Netherworld, Calder was still searching, still hoping to find those he had met. One had been, and before his unfortunate death at the hands of a Sith he had told Icehammer of the Sacred Lotus and their goals. To help. Anyone and everyone who needed it. And so, the Beorni had come. The ten foot tall being stepped out of the spaceport by ducking his head and squeezing his form through the smaller door. Behind him, he could hear the laughter of some children. Oh how silly he must look, trying to fit through a hole not made for one of his size.

As he's been learning, there was nothing made for his size outside of his little island he called home.

The large hammer he hefted onto his shoulder caused the laughter to stop, replaced by oos and awws. The mace, big enough to be as large as them, was held in a single hand by the big creature. It was an impressive sight to such young minds. A chuckle escaped Calder's lips as he heard them, and he left them to their imagination as he set out to find the Jedi and answer his question once and for all.

Sometime ago.....

It had been seeming a lifetime ago when they or more like she found him. A long lost stranger wandering the galaxy seem with the past and future shrouded in uncertainty. At the same time haunted by strange dreams and ability he could not fathom nor control. As such he wanders aimlessly in fear till they met and in their company, he found purpose....understanding and for what it's worth. Strength or fortitude to face his fears and darkness that haunted him as such.
And thru it all he seems able to make good change his life around. As such slowly but surely come to understand and make sense of it all. Thought the dark dream still plagued him so at a time though not as frequently as it had before. That he got the idea to perhaps a change of scenery was in order for however much he denied it. His wandering soul yearns still the call of the open space beyond. That now with his recent promotion to knighthood and recent repairs he'd been able to make to the ship he salvaged made all the easier do so.

That seem in the spur of the moment after having heard the whisper thru the hangar bay or halls and talk about a group called Order of Sacred Lotus for quite some time. He'd figured to set out check them out and maybe in whatever way he could lend them a hand or two.

Present....

It didn't take long after much work and bit of luck that he found himself here. Having just come out of hyperspace he then slowly glided his ship over the planet. As he at first tried survey the place and look for a place to land which wasn't much of a stretch once he got his bearings. And looking yonder found the strange circular structure seem old as it was ancient to look at. That as he got closer he could somehow make out the outline of a decent settlement as well some sort landing port to set his ship down near.

Jakkor Kess, Former Commander in the Clone Wars, a old relic from a forgotten age, and a Tusken Jedi. He had lost his way for more than a decade after the Omega Wars, and before that he was locked in an Ancient Sith casket for more than 800 years. He had went into to exile following the Omega Wars, making a vow to never wield his sabers ever again. He had recalled himself to a life of Solitude in the Outer Rim world of Lothal. Their he and his Wife/Master [member="Viktoria Kess"] raised their girls [member="Natalia Kess"] and @Anastazia Kess for more than what seemed like a lifetime. He bought a farm in the quiet plains of Lothal outside the capital city, and went by the name Jak to resign himself of his name, and stopped wearing his tusken mask, and his Jedi robes, and settled life as a simple farmer and family man. He felt that he had found peace that he had longed for since the Jedi Purge.

He than had to break his oath after a decade of being in exile against sith. He stayed in the farm for a few more months, but always sensed something stirring out their, something dark coming from the Unknown Regions. He knew that their peaceful life would not always remain the same, and he knew that after hearing the events of Kaeshana, and The FIrst Order's declaration of war against the Galactic Alliance. This was the trigger for Jakkor to leave with Viktoria. He knew that Lothal was very close to the borders of the First Order monitoring their activities since the Omega Wars, he had a bad feeling about them, and this was proven correct. He had to move his family out of there, so he sold the farm for what he could get, and departed in the VCX-100 freighter the Outlander.

He had nowhere else to go, he always felt disgusted with the Jedi of this age, as he felt that they made many mistakes like that of the Clone Wars. Many had fallen victim to the dark side without even knowing it, always eager for battle, war, when a Jedi should only use their weapons for peace and defense. He meditated for several days wondering what will be the will of the force, while the ship drifted in cold space for days. After days of meditating a vision came to him through the force. It was a large pilgrimage of Jedi like Kess coming from all across the galaxy. They were going to what looked to be Monestary from he had known about systems, it would seem odd to go there, but he had to try it. He needed to be a Jedi once more, and felt this could somehow bring back the Jedi of Old into the galaxy once more.

He set hyperspace coordinates for Monestary not saying a word to his Wife, but trusting in the will of the force to guide him. It took several hours before the ship jumped out of hyperspace. The ship descended rapidly down the atmosphere, and landed in a area of grassy plains. He grabbed his cloak and put it over his Jedi robes, and walked purposefully down the ramp, he walked along a path sensing a huge nexus of light side energy that would be his destination. As he walked in a stride towards his destination he said almost happily. "It's time for the Jedi to rise once more."

Valae Kitra couldn’t believe that she had made it all the way to Monastery. It was a lucky thing, too. After all, she’d paid her way here with the last credits in her possession. And here she was on the landing pad, with empty pockets and a heart full of hope. Her calloused hands lifted the straps of her rucksack, and she turned to view the rocky face of the mountain range in the distance. Slowly, her head canted to the side in thought. Had she come to the right place? Without truly knowing her current destination, her brown boots began to carry her forward.

The first steps towards a new life.

It had been quite some time since Valae had parted ways with the Silver Jedi and their home world of Voss. There was always a small stab of sadness that came with the memory, and perhaps even a shred of doubt, too. But she had always countered these thoughts with whatever optimistic ramblings she could scrape up from the corners of her mind. Still, she couldn’t deny that she missed the sense of camaraderie that she’d found at the Silver Temple. Valae had left with the hope that she would find her true calling, and here on Monastery, she thought she could hear a whisper on the breeze…

During her travels, she’d heard tell of the Order of the Sacred Lotus – a fledgling organization that had been forming in the shelter of the valley. There wasn’t much to go on, but she liked what she had heard. Despite the fact that she was certainly not much of a warrior, she knew that there must be other ways to still contribute to the greater good.

Valae’s chestnut hair was wild and unruly today, having a poor interaction with the humidity of her surroundings. She attempted to tame her locks into a bun, it was messy, but it would do just fine. As she traveled through the forest landscape, she gazed about in wonder. There was something about this place that seemed peaceful, like this was a place that darkness just couldn’t touch. Valae wasn’t sure exactly how long she had been walking, but the soreness in her feet and the grumbling of her stomach told her that it had to have been a decent chunk of time.

She emerged from the woods and found that the area opened up into a valley. Her brows arched slightly, there was already quite a crowd gathering up ahead…

Monica was looking for a place to retire.

For the past twenty years she had done nothing but fight in war. Training apprentices to fight in war. Training her body to fight in war. War, was all she knew. First with the Republic, then with Omega Pyre, then with the Silvers and the GA. She had even warred a great war into the Mouth of Hell itself. Warring against even the Nether Realms and beyond. No. Killing Sith Knights had become child's play to this 40 year old woman. Or, worse yet. It had become cheap. It had wearied her very soul.

Monica was looking for a place to retire. A place where Force Users can be equal. Not just in power or ambition but in love and compassion too. Somewhere that a warrior's skills might be seen as needless. Trivial. Undesirable at best. A place where she could finally lay to rest her strong shoulders and sharpened swords. Take up the pen and the apple. Write a book and sing a new song. Finally find the peace of the soul again.

Monica was looking for a place to rest, and to build, and be free. Monica had come to Monastery.

The blue haired woman landed her Interceptor in the long mountain ranges of Monastery. Nodding to her droid, she dismounted, and threw a camo-tarp over her starship. R2 beeping with every pull. Now, nestled easily into the terrain. She smiled and departed for the tops of the mountains. To find God or those like him. It was time to see just what the Sacred Lotus was all about, indeed.

She arrived by the mountain path. Surrounded by travelers, workers, stone-cutters, and more. Naturally her first inhibition was to seek out [member="Bethany Kismet"] and to share in the strength of her faith. And, her conversation. Though, she paused to terry a small cart selling native fruit. She was hungry too. Oh so very hungry indeed. So, she mused with new ideas. Mm. Perhaps they could talk over lunch? Ooo. Yum. Now wasn't that a lovely idea.

"Yes hello. I'll take two. Thank you."

It was going to be a good day. She could feel it.

Though he'd made a personal vow not to allow himself to fall into a Jedi order, and definitely not a Sith one, when word reached him on Serenno that a new order was rising, even he was curious. What little bit of information he'd gleaned was that they intended to be open and welcoming, rather than close-minded. Though he would openly admit that he was inherently biased against both Jedi and Sith, he found it refreshing that someone, even a Jedi, actually wanted to present an open-minded approach to the galaxy. He was curious. If there was one thing that he likely held in common with some of the more famous of Chiss, it was that he was more than a little bit interested in learning.

Securing some time off from his job at The Spike hadn't been that hard to do. He'd been working there for months, and the guards liked him well enough. His no nonsense approach to dealing with the inmates was enough to garner him the respect of his fellows. Castin, his direct superior, had authorized him some time off, and he was apt to take it. With an actual job, he had accrued pay, and was able to secure a private charter on a smaller vessel to take him to Monastery.

"We will exit hyperspace momentarily," the co-pilot said as he headed back to the cockpit. "Buckle up for entry."

"When we exit, do a cursory system scan and tell me what kind of traffic the system has, if you would," he said, his tone of voice nearly resolving into the commanding tone he was used to.

"Sure," the woman said, looking slightly puzzled before she disappeared into the cockpit.

He settled back in his seat and closed his eyes for a moment, utilizing a relaxation technique that Castin taught him. As it had turned out, several members of the guard at The Spike were actually practitioners of the Force, and adherents to a philosophy known as Force Warriors. He had learned much from them in his time there. Bartus had been wise to send him to The Spike to look for work and more. A good contact to have.

When he opened his eyes, he was in time to see the space outside of the yacht revert back to blackness. A few moments later a chime resounded.

"Moderate activity, Mr. Electroheart. No apparent warships. We're proceeding to the landing coordinates you gave us."

The ship glided through the atmosphere as if riding on clouds, descending swiftly and smoothly down to the planets surface. Though it seemed they could land within the valley itself, he'd chosen to have them land outside of it so as not to interfere with the goings on within. As the ship settled onto the planets surface, he unstrapped himself and stood, grabbing his pack from a vacant seat and slinging it over his shoulder, donning his cloak once again, lest there was ill weather or cold. The captain came out and he handed over half the credits for the round trip as promised before heading aft to the boarding ramp without a word.

"Sir? Shall we just wait here?" the captain called after him.

"Yes. I will only be gone a few days, most likely," he called over his shoulder as the ramp lowered. "As I indicated when you accepted my charter, you will be here for several days. If you need me, you have my commlink."

"Right then. Stay safe."

He nodded and walked down the ramp and out into the forest, heading for the nearby valley entrance and the location he could feel a congregation of the Force. This was going to be his first real encounter with Jedi as he knew them. Part of him wondered how it would go and what he would learn of them. The other part of him could care less, as it was likely these Jedi would end up being as clouded as the others were. He would give them the benefit of the doubt, though. It was the least he could do.

She’d found her way to the planet only hours before, something like nervousness fluttering through her gut. She wasn’t sure why. Picking up on atmosphere was one of her strong-suits, and living the majority of her life so far in a place of scum and villainy had taught her how to recognize it. There was nothing like that here. If anything it was the most promising beacon of possible peace she’d found yet in the years she’d been searching for such. Whispers...here and there. And then she’d come to Monastery.

With nothing but the clothes on her back Solana had found herself on the largely quiet planet. Enough life bustled to suggest she’d found the right place, but it seemed the setting for the Order she’d heard rumors of.

But would they need her?

Solana was dedicated to peace, to freedom for all creatures, for harmony when all she’d known was strife. Instead of succumbing to the misery that might have consumed her she sought to shed it and make sure others never had to understand strife. In a galaxy so large that seemed an impossibility but one person trying would encourage others to try too - and then everyone would be saved. But from what she’d heard there might not be a place for someone like her, someone willing to take up a sword if need be as a very last resort. She wanted her questions answered.

Drawing closer to the main area of growing activity, the young woman’s dark eyes trailed over the crowds. She wasn’t entirely sure who to be speaking with but observation was a talent and she hoped to spot someone who looked in charge. Instead she first saw a woman with blazingly blue hair and then saw she was buying fruit. And then Solana’s stomach rumbled.

A growling tummy would be embarrassing for her first meeting with someone important so she cut her way slowly through the crowd, collecting her meager pile of credits from her pocket. When she pulled up in front of the cart the vendor was helping another customer, so as she waited she looked to the blue-haired woman and flashed her a polite smile and nodded towards the fruit in her hand. “No apple-worms, right?”

So it was after circling the area few times to find a decent enough spot to land in between the decent sized settlement hangar bay. That he'd soon jump out the battered z-95 headhunter ship which he'd come call "Black Wraith" and head off. Exciting to enter the town by the way of some side street or alleyway. Ronin then found himself wandering the strange new place streets where from the look of things had not been live in ages and yet. From the impromptu hustle and bustle about it was at best on its way to being again sooner than later.

At which case, as he wanders about it didn't take long for something to catch his attention. That of a large burly winter white bear which made him pause tilting his head a bit as he gazes at the sight of it. As with its massive pawed hand was held some sort of weapon that made him utter under his breath.

"Oh, man look size that......and here I thought that little fluff bear didn't get be that....."

His words cut short as the memory of a fairly similar being cross his mind during one interesting trip he'd been on while with the Silvers once before. A beorin, if he was not mistaken from one few times, spent with Freiya once before....at any rate, he could all but then sigh. As if truth be told he sort missed her company and could only imagine what tall tales or misadventures they could have had if she was here with him.

Just a couple steps outside of the spaceport and instantly Calder knew there was something wrong. He had no idea where the Jedi were. He paused in his stride, his massive head swiveling as he scanned the bustling spaceport of people entering and exiting the planet. None of them really looked like a Jedi. Well, the hooded brown robes, the signature lightsaber, anything. With all the people, not even the spirits could tell him where they were.

As such he made his way to the edge of the crowd, which wasn't too hard as most practically dived out of his way, and stood. Here he was, so close to the Jedi, and he had no idea where to go. A frown settled upon his lips as he tried to figure out his next course of action.

"Ha. Oh no dear. None at all. Hehe."

Monica smiled and winked. Shaking the fruit with some decoration. Then pausing to browse the woman in the Force. To sense her strength and her place amongst this new people. True. Monica was uncertain of what to make of all this, just yet. So many questions. Who are these? What do they attract? What type of characters might journey far in pilgrimage to this place? What are the fruits of their labors? How might I just judge this new thing?

All fine questions of course that for right now Monica put towards Solana. As if studying her face for their answers.

"Mmm."

Of course. What's in a face? Judge ye a book by it's cover. Indeed. More time and more faces were needed. Monica's curiosity could wait.

"Ah. But look at me. ...Say, you wouldn't happen to know where a poor lost traveler could find Lady Kismet, would you darling?"

It was then as he stood there sort observing the large Beorin from his vantage view as he came closer and closer where he was. Which game him a moment to pause later note how if anything the other seems to be in some sense either fear or uneasiness around such a massively large being. But just same he could not fault them being as the old adage goes playing in back his mind. About how it was unwise to make a Wookie angry as they could rip your arms of which he could only imagine what likes of him could do.

At any rate standing there on the sideline, he couldn't help but feel curious. As to what would such a being of his standing be here for? For looking about he didn't notice any or seem to take note of any disturbance or ill intent nor feelings since he'd arrive. Which on all accounts as far he knew was kinda odd even for such a far-flung planet as this.

At which time soon enough as he observed the stranger he couldn't quite take notice of how his brow ....that is if you could call that in a seem frown as if he was either in deep thought or what not. So seem with a slight shrug he thought what the as he then walked over to him speak.

"So.....what seem to bring you over here as I quite couldn't help notice you looking a bit .....well perplex about something. At any rate, anything can help you with?"

HK-36

The Iron Lord Protector (Neutral Good)
HK watched the Monastery from a nearby hill, beneath a shade of a large tree, his black cloak flapping softly in the breeze as his photoreceptors zoomed in on the people gathering, watching over them silently from the distance.

"So it begins once more."

The machine spoke to himself as he scanned and tracked, the droid tended to get himself involved often with Force-using groups, especially those of Light and Neutral alignment, often finding more allies among them over time, usually by trading in some of his vast ancient knowledge on the Jedi, their Order, their practices, knowledge he had access to as a member of the Order once, very long ago, knowledge since mostly lost during the Long Dark of the Gulag plague.

How machine managed to find the group in time to witness their arrival and forming at the Sanctuary could be questionable, HK often claimed that with his age came the ability to perceive the subtle patterns and signs of the Force in common events, in a way communicate with the metaphysical power source. Or perhaps he simply planted a tracked within Monica's R2 back when he was able to deactivate the droid and rummage through her X-wing, not knowing it was hers, after all he did enjoyed greatly just sneaking up on her and playing a trick or two. It was most likely the metaphysical prediction through patterns of life though.

Still, he recognized [member="Saint Monica"]'s blue peacock mane over the distance, deactivating his long-range scanners to nod to himself.

"Very well, it is time for me to rev-"

HK was about to go onto another exposition-filled monologue when turning about to begin his descent down the hill he walked face-first into one of the tree's lower branches,

Tshshshthshthshsh

The leaves ruffled wildly as the machine found his vision filled with the greenery and tree limbs whipping him,

"What the feth is-"

He muttered out angrily as he tried to swat the tree branch away, pushing it away from him only for it to slip out and whip him back in the metal face,

"Oh for chit's sake!"

That would go on for some time.

"Oh gods..."

"Not again."

Zara Lianna

Jedi Knight/Master/ Mother of three
Viktoria Kess had been married to [member="Jakkor Kess"] for a few years. They rose three healthy girls, [member="Lilla Kess"], [member="Anasztazia Kess"] and [member="Natalia Kess"]. They were a happy and healthy family that lived on the plains of Lothal and before Viktoria met Jakkor, she didn't want to live on a farm have children or get married. She was afraid of hurting someone, but when he came into her life all that she had wished to not happen, had backfired and happened and she was helplessly in love with a wonderful husband and beautiful girls. They had completely changed they're lives from being busy Jedi, to a happy family on Lothal. Jakkor and Viktoria only used their sabers to train the girls and Viktoria had secretly been taking her sabers with her into town when she went out. They came in good use at times though.

Vitoria knew something was going on with Jakkor. He never really ever told her what was going on, but a few months later, he got the rand idea of selling the farm and moving on. She was shocked by this move and found it hard to believe him. But somewhere deep down, Viktoria still knew that the First Order and the sith were never too far away. They had been assassinated at their home before and she eventually agreed with moving out. They at least got some good money off of the farm and they used that money towards fuel and food for a trip Jakkor was taking the family on.

They sat in dead space for days. Jakkor meditated and meditated to no end that when she'd go to sleep, she would try to get him to go to bed, but he didn't budge, so she left him there. Then one day, he finally came from his trance and without a word to her still, he went to the cockpit and some coordinates, going to someplace finally, but she had yet to find out what all of this was about. Viktoria was very much like Jakkor in a few ways. They had the same views of the Jedi and they lived similar lives.

Hours upon hours seemed to go by until they had finally came upon some sort of planet. Viktoria had fallen asleep during the hyperspace trip. She had to say, it was some of the best sleep she had gotten in a while. She had fallen asleep in the copilot seat and had a good dream for once. A steady beeping sound brought her back to conscience though indicating that they had arrived wherever they were going.

Following Jakkor out the ship, her appearance would be close to the Jedi's style, just her own flare added to it, with her sabers hanging from the belt on her hips. As she walked, she grabbed a cloak off of a hanger and pulled it over her head and she would walk out of the ship, looking over to Jakkor and giving a small smile. She pulled the hood down from her cloak, revealing her face and a head full of blonde hair.

"Would you mind telling me what this place is??"

she asked calmly. He obviously knew something she didn't and she had to know.

Elisea Apollodor

Guest
E
Monastery.

It seemed peaceful enough, Elisea thought to herself tugging at her tunic. Blades of grass seemed to hum all on their own without the aid of the wind. Her feet were careful in their steps, careful not to disturb the life already present here on Monastery.

Elisea had grown up on Dosuun, and had spent her life watching the rise of the First Order. Her hands tucked away into her shawl, the Dosuuni's mind travelled to the past. While she kept walking, walking with the hopes to discover what it was that she could do.

How could she help the Galaxy? A graduate of the University of Avalonia, a reservist with the First Imperial Medical Service. Elisea had hopes to learn more - to be more than she was. She loved home, she did - truly, but home could only offer so much. And she wanted more, she wanted more than they could offer. Rather - Elisea wanted to discover the Galaxy on her own terms. FIMS would only give her the nation's borders, and here - on Monastery.

The young girl could only hope that this Order would do more - so she could do more. Before her recent travels, she had heard little of the planet. Sure, she had studied the basic stellar cartography and knew of your basic galactic history. Bring out a map and she can tell you where Voss was, where Coruscant was and even Korriban and Nal Hutta. What she couldn't tell you, were her desires to travel there not that she had a strong urge to explore places like Nal Hutta or Korriban mind you. Or even, Coruscant as far as she was concerned it needed a proper spirtual cleansing.

Blades of grass led toward a path, and the path took Elisea toward a speeder outpost. The proud Avalonian searched her satchel taking out a lone datapad. "Of couse the space port is the other way, Elisea - you can navigate the stars but you can't read a bloody map." To be quite fair she hadn't had any proper caffine, yet. Grabbing her cred stick in turn for her datapad, she paid the droid and requested transport.

Bethany Kismet looked up from the wall. White stone piled upon white stone in what would eventually be the south side of the library. Physically, the Jedi Master was unassuming- positively diminutive. Dressed in simple laborers clothes in browns and greys, her long black hair was pulled back into a braid. Her face, hands and clothes were covered in stone dust. But emerald eyes sparkled, as she looked up at the slowly swelling gathering.
She had known they would come. The Force had told her so. But it still warmed her heart, seeing each new set of hands. Perhaps some were merely curiosity seekers, but she could feel the growing swell of hope and determination moving around them all.

"Hal, Michael, let's see what we can do about getting everyone to work who is here to help, yes?"

And answering questions. Of which she was certain there would be many. But their main focus here was the ever growing walls of Sanctuary. It had to be the first steps.

Raising her voice, she called out to several of the nearest onlookers.

"Welcome!" She said, smiling. "Anyone think they can give me a hand with these stones?"

While the others were often using the Force to lift things, Bethany's telekinesis abilities were.... rather specific in their reliability. And building walls, no matter the cause, was not part of that. It didn't even occur to her that using her hands to build a wall might be beneath her. There was honesty and fulfillment in a job well done. That and sore muscles, but mostly she understood just how grounding and meditative physical labor was.

It was good timing on [member="Malok"]'s part though, because there was only so far 4'11" worth of Jedi was going to get on her own, no matter how determined.

Brushing the dust from her hands absently, she stepped forward, smiling a greeting at the gathering from ApeX.

"Welcome Commander Malok. My name is Bethany." She left off both her title and last name.

Though it was inevitable that information would travel, she didn't deliberately help it along. Jedi Master Bethany Kismet was a name from history. Dead 500 years ago, so the records claimed, to those who paid attention to such things. Fortunately for Beth, most people didn't. It made things less awkward to explain.... if she didn't have to explain them at all.

"And extra hands would be most appreciated," she continued, her own dust covered ones spreading wide. "Our thanks to you and your men. I had honestly written off finishing this particular wall today," she said with a chuckle. "Perhaps I was wrong."

Anyone who wants to be considered in that group of 'closest' onlookers is welcome :) [member="Faith Highwind"] [member="Andy Khor"] [member="Calder Icehammer"] [member="Ronin Wendigo"] [member="Jakkor Kess"] [member="Valae Kitra"] [member="Saint Monica"] [member="Electroheart"] [member="Solana Murphy"] [member="HK-36"] [member="Viktoria Kess"] [member="Hal Terrano"] [member="Michael Sardun"] [member="Elisea Korrado"]
