Ryn'Dhal
Silver Shroud
He continued smiling, before giving a slight nod. "Well then, as we've occupied this training hall more than long enough for one session!" he'd state, accompanying the statement with another one of his uniquely musical laughs. He began waving his arms in grand gestures, maneuvering the crates with the ceramic disks back to their starting locations, the pedestals as well, returning the room swiftly back to it's original configuration. Once finished, several moments later, he turned to his padawan, smiling still. "One day, Kianna, you will be able to do the same, with just as little effort. Ones proficiency with the Force is much like ones ability with a muscle. Time, experience, and repetition, makes utilization easier. But, unlike a muscle, using the Force is not something everyone is inherently knowledgeable in utilizing."
He'd gesture to his helmet, drawing it to him, before donning it once more. The -snap- of the clasps seemed almost as if a signal, at which point his tail wound itself once more about his waist, concealing itself from view. Once again, he bore the appearance not unlike a generic humanoid, albeit a shrouded one. That musical laugh which accompanied his words, gave evidence that he still bore the same smile he was showing her moments before.
"Breathing, for example. You don't really know how you learned to do it.... You just know that you can. But, holding your breath, for example, is a learned ability. Through various breathing exercises, one can learn to better utilize their breathing, in such that they could hold their breath significantly longer than others. Conversely, the Force, you weren't really born with any understanding of. But by learning the flows of the living Force, the will of the Force as well, you can deepen your understanding, and in turn your connection to the Force. All these factors will yield better connectivity to your individual giftings with the Force."
While talking, Ryn'Dhal would lead Kianna out into the gardens from the training compound. He'd stroll over to a crafted stone bench, and took a seat, gesturing for her to join him.
"We all have various giftings within the Force. Some are inordinately gifted in Telekinesis, far more so than I would dare to imagine I am." He'd state, chuckling lightly. "Others, like myself, and my Master who trained me, have their strongest giftings in the Healing Arts. The ability to purge toxins from a body, be it their own, or another's. To heal wounds, cure illnesses, even prevent death for a limited time, prolonging ones life until superior care can be administered. There are some who are gifted in concealing oneself from perception, bit it from others seeking through the Force, or from the natural senses. Some are gifted in augmenting ones own physical capabilities. There are endless possibilities as to what your unique giftings are. You can, and will, however, learn to utilize the Force in most, if not all of these manners, and more.... But it all comes down to you, and your unique connection with the Force, that will determine your unique skill set."
He'd tap a gloved finger against the 'chin' of his mask, contemplatively. "My 'strongest' giftings, I would say.... Are Healing, Meditation, and Self Augmentation. Forgive me though, as I am uncertain what the actually technical term for that last skill set is. I can increase my physical speed, my stamina, and a multitude of other traits, almost at will, by concentrating on the Force. And, as for Meditation, given my....." He'd clear his throat awkwardly, "Predatory nature.... Meditation helps me to keep my composure in times of high stress, particularly during Hyperspace travel."
His faceplate angled towards Kianna once more, those golden eyes twinkling, obviously smiling back at her. "I will teach you all that I can, as long as you are willing to learn. But do not hesitate to take part in any group lessons you happen to come across in your free time. I am only so capable, and as I had during my own tenure as a Padawan, some lessons will be up to you to seek out."
