Alexandra sat back on the stone that lay half way across the wide river that was about forty meters wide, her hands behind her head as she looked up at the sky on the large circular stone. Her eyes following the Alderaanian clouds as the glided slowly over head, casting down shadows upon the river and the forest that lined its banks, it was peace and quiet... minus the roar of the waterfall that was, it was peace and quiet minus that.

She wore pure white robes with a similarly pure white cloak and hood that at the time remained down, her hair remained pulled up and collected in an intricate design. A style she had done by accident one day but found it had both the functionality of remaining out of her eyesight and still looked normal. Her sabers remained beside her own the stone and after a few moments she started to whistle as it was a normal day.

Except that it wasn't. No she was waiting for [member="Vulpesen"], waiting for the one friend she had still in harms way thanks to the Republic and now she waited for him to arrive and for her to try and turn him from a path that led to death.

Vulpesen looked at Ace as a transmission beeped on his ships terminal. Clicking in, he read the message from [member="Alexandra Cinthra"]. Recently, these at the temple had been seeming to fall apart and now, Vulpesen was out to clear his head. Seeing as to how he enjoyed conversations with Alexandra, he saw little reason to turn her down. So, Vulpesen turned his ship to Alderaan and set off. He didn't know why she had called him, but he figured that he might as well come over.

As his ship came over the beautiful surface of Alderaan, Vulpesen stepped towards his ramp, walking out as Ace leaped to his usual perch on the master's shoulder. "Now then, where is she?" He looked down at the coordinates and seeing that he wasn't far away, he went on a walk along the river. As he finally reached his friend, the master lifted a hand in greeting. "Salutations."

Alexandra's smile immediately showed as she glanced over at him, eyes resting on him as she stood and walked over. Without pause she walked right up to him and gave him a tight hug for a moment before breaking it herself and stepping back with a relieved look on her face. "Good, your still alive, i was hoping that you weren't too hurt during that whole thing and i was hoping that things wouldn't have ended too badly. But enough of that for now, how have you been minus the obvious recent events, i hope that things are calmer with that over, and how is the order? Still kicking?"

Vulpesen returned the momentary hug. Jedi or not, he certainly couldn't be described as stiff backed. As he listened to her speak, Vulpesen took note of the conerned looks and the worry that shone through her in the force. As she asked about the trouble with the Republic, he heaved a small sigh. "I survived and it looks like the Republic will to. As for calmer, I wish. Hell seems to be breaking out and I've been leaping around it as much as possible to avoid the pitfalls. The order is reeling from losses, the Republic is getting holes blow in it an-" He stopped himself, realizing his negativity. "Sorry, I shouldn't be rambling over the hell of the galaxy. So, why the call?"

She smiled, though the underlining feelings she had shown before remained etched on her face and she still hadn't figured out how to speak on the subject that she now had on mind. She spoke though, her entire tone not even faltering from before as she closed her eyes and seemed to be collecting her thoughts as she spoke. "Nothing much to tell you the truth, i just need to ask you something but for right now how about you tell me your plans for you and Ace? Are you guys going to Amar and staying there to help, or to Tython to study? Or did you plan to take up your blade and fight those that attack the Republic?" [member="Vulpesen"]

Vulpesen rose an eyebrow. She usually wasn't one to simply jump into such matters, however he didn't mind indulging her with the information. "Alex, you know I'm a warrior. Like it or not, I can't have peace and thus I give it to others by ending conflicts. So far, the Republic's ideals fit more or less with my own and thus I fight to keep its citizens safe." She sighed and nodded, hands tapping her legs as she sat there, the nervous tick emerging once more as spoke once more, her eyes still not completely focused on him. "Surely there are those that you aren't able to help with you still part of the Jedi, I mean you are still held in place by the rules placed on your person." She smiled and laughed a bit, though it seemed a bit forced as she glanced at him. "Sorry, bit odd at the time, what im trying to say is a bit different for how i am trying to convey it..." [member="Vulpesen"]

Vulpesen watched her for several moments before the implications finally became apparent to him. "You want me to leave, don't you?" He turned and walked towards the water, his hands hidden in his robes. "But the Republic's done so much for me. They've given me ships, promotions, resources, friends." He turned back to her. "Thinking about it, I'm not fighting without any reward." [member="Alexandra Cinthra"]

"Yes, i want you to leave and things are only going to get worse as things go further down the path... with the Republic making more enemies things will only end in those enemies getting to you and we both know even to strongest of force users can be felled." Her hand started to tap faster as she spoke, her eyes though remained on him as she sat there and waited for the next answer from him. [member="Vulpesen"]

Vulpesen moved his hands from his robes. "Alex, if I leave then who will fight for them? As you said, they're making enemies everywhere which means that they'll need all the help they can get. People look to me as a light of loyalty." His voice remained at a normal tone but there was certainly an energy behind his words. "I highly doubt that any leave from me will go unnoticed." As he spoke Ace jittered and ran into his robes.

She sighed and nodded, hand stopping on her leg though it didn't relax as she sat there before suddenly laying back with her legs still crossed and hands on her leg. "Sorry, just a friend being a bit jittery about recent events about whats been circling around the Republic and other groups, with the Sith not caught and the rising tensions on the horizon." She watched the sky as she spoke, momentarily glancing at Ace as he reacted to something. [member="Vulpesen"]

Vulpesen moved to sit down side her. "I will be honest and say that we wen't beyond rising tensions when they blew up my house." He let out a grim laugh and leaned against a tree. Hell was breaking out around the galaxy and the Republic was right in the middle of it. The best way for him to help was to be there with them, to stand among their ranks. It was what he had known for the past five years. When else would he do?

"Better your house than you ya fool." She elbowed his leg and smiled up at him, this one genuine and pure, the worry for the most part gone from her eyes as she looked up at him from how she lay there and then blinking suddenly and shaking her head at an internal thought. "Just dont die, got it? Otherwise im going to have to make more friends in the Jedi so that im not hunted down for not being one of you guys. And if you do die, i reserve the right to kick your ass for doing so, else you are never allowed to become one with the force mister." [member="Vulpesen"]

Vulpesen laughed at her suggestions. "True, but its fairly disconcerting to have your door knocked on by some guy swinging a red saber in your face. So rude, they could have at least called first. As for you kickin' my ass, I don't plan on dying just yet. I've got so many plans for the future. So many things I've yet to do and being dead tends to stop those things." He looked over to her with a small smile. "As a jedi, I've been trained not to fear death. However, I do fear leaving my business unfinished."

"He probably just wanted to surprise you and wish you a happy early birthday, you know, be neighborly with you so that things are better for you." She smiled and raised her brow as she heard the second part of that, this time without warning hitting him in the arm a bit harder but obviously still out of a joking manner. Her voice held a tinge of seriousness though still was kind, soft, and joking as she laid next to the man that was her friend. "And dont you listen ya fox headed fool. Everyone fears death, those that don't are stupid or denying themselves the truth. Plus if you did die you would be without my council and kind, caring nature..." She let her eyes return to him, her expression back to pure joy and joking as she remained unmoving on the stone. [member="Vulpesen"]

Vulpesen rubbed his arm from the hit. "Oi. Alex, I'm not saying I won't avoid it. I find it as something I don't want and though I shouldn't fear death in of itself, there are certain aspects of it that I'd rather not face any time soon." He flashed a wily grin at her. "Besides, if I do pass on before you, I'll just come back as a force ghost and haunt you."

"You'd come back just to haunt me more than you do now, im honored that you care so much and i can't believe you would do that." She grinned at him and laid her head back, considering doing something in that moment as she lay there, glancing at the water as the thought went through her mind of pushing him into the water before he could react. [member="Vulpesen"]

Vulpesen let out a shocked Amaran yelp as he was pushed, the sound being sharp and high pitched before being muffled by the water. To his Credit, Ace seemed to do a good job of leaping out of Vulpesen's sleeve in time to make it onto dry land. "Not cool!" Looking up at Alexandra, Vulpesen let out a playful growl. "At least the jedi gave me some good training." With that, he brought of of his hands up, giving Alexandra a force pull into the water while exhibiting a stronger one on Ace as Ashlan wolves tended to give some force resistance.

She blinked as she was pulled into the water and her hands, without any success, tried to grab onto the stone before she fell in and looked up at him as she sat under the water for a few seconds before standing up with the water at her shoulders, spitting out a spout of water she had breathed in by accident. First thing that hit her though was the chill in the water and her eyes narrowed as she looked at him and spoke with a bit of that chill effecting her voice. "Gonna have to make sure i repay those Jedi in kind, though until then, you will have to do." She grinned and moved through the water a bit more easily than might have been expected, the only reason her movement being so is due to the time that she spent in it enough. As she moved forward she tried to knock him under the water with both the force and trying to knock his legs out under him so he fell into it again. [member="Vulpesen"]

Vulpesen laughed as she jumped at him, using the force to counter her push with one of his own. "Oh really now?" He grinned and moved forward as well, placing his hand half above and under the surface of the water. "And how can ya do that without any creativity?" He expelled a good sized forcepush from the hand, not meaning to push Alex, but rather the water by him, causing the liquid to surge forward and spray her in a splash from a phantom arm.
