To turn a Jedi.

Alexandra Feanor

The Lady in Silver/Grey Historian
"Oh lighten up Fox Face, its hilarious, if you were in my position and i s-... actually lets not think about that." She smiled at him and leaned back with him, the grin still on her face as she looked at the roof for a few moments and then glanced at him with a inquisitive look in her eye. "And this holiday, what is it called exactly that you started? Im sure its something quite befitting of a Jedi is it not?"

Vulpesen rolled his eyes. "Good idea. In any case, if you must know I'll tell ya. Every year, the men and male tourist of Zeltron get into a crowd at the street lamp where I was chained, wearing nothing but undergarments, a par of handcuffs and a stuffed dog which they hang off their shoulders. Then they release the hookers who chase them through the streets. And what happens after the chase is complete... well, I'd rather not say. Let's just go with it didn't end the way it happened to me."

Alexandra bit her lip, trying as she might to not laugh as she pictured Vulpesen in the situation and turned her head to stop from him seeing her face nearly red at the thoughts that ran through her mind. After another dozen or two seconds after that she finally sighed with a wide smile as she looked at her friend. "Good to know, and this happens when? Got to make sure to drug you and bring you there on the date."

As she made the suggestion, Vulpesen shook his head. "Ace has been a bit more wary about checking our drinks and I'm thinking of ordering him a small gas mask to help in case we ever go back. Though that date don't sound bad." He gave her his usual grin as he continued to rest against the wall. "I just prefer to not go wandering around looking for a lost week."

"Wait... no i didn't mean... i just meant what day this holiday was... i didnt mean a uh date as in... like i... uh." She blinked and looked away as she messed with her hands and tried to get a grip on herself at the his interpretation of her words, thinking to herself of what she could say to fix his interpretation before he took the train of thought too far.

Vulpesen let out a small laugh as he watched her fumble for her words, enjoying the spectacle for several moments. "I know what you meant Alex." He rested back against the wall and reached a hand over to pet the sleeping ball of fur in his robes. "You know, I should do things like that more often. Just to have a little fun out of ya."

"Its not that funny..." She bit her lip again and looked to the far wall as she sat there, though her eyes did slide over to look at him as she was sitting there, the tinge of a smile on her face. "But... if you had been serious about that then i would have made such a date be absolutely as embarrassing as possible for you, mainly took a joy in watching you participate in the holiday you started."

Vulpesen rolled his eyes and mved his hand to scratch Ace behind the ears, soon being rewarded by the wolf's quickly kicking leg. "You do realize that would include me in nothing but my undergarments. And I don't mean the lower layer of my robes." He raised an eyebrow at her as he brought attention to that particular detail of her friend.

"Depends on if i can sick seven hookers on you like the Chancellor did, i mean im sure any number of them would love to catch the one that started the whole holiday." She tried to joke her way out of his words, trying to ignore the details as if he hadn't said them, yet her expression still said everything a a tinge of red out of her own embarrassment caught her and for a moment more she said nothing as she noticed before turning and hitting him in the arm. "Its not funny."

"And I'm sure any number of them would be unable to catch me when I start running, especially when I'm wearing all my clothes." As she turned and punched him, Vulpesen let out a laugh, bringing his hand to rub where she hit him. "Oh come on, you're the only one allowed to have a little fun? Tell ya what. Next time I go to out to some party planet for a vacation, I'll bring you along and hopefully you can keep me from getting sold for jewelry."

She smiled and nodded at that as she leaned back against the wall, her hands on her lap and eyes closed again. "Sounds like a plan Fox Face, though if you do get sold im sure ill make sure that it was for a good reason, like food for orphans or something, trust me when i say they would appreciate it." She smiled as her face then turned to sadness, tapping her fingers on her leg as she took a long thought about what she just said and remembering what living in a gutter was like for her all those years before. "Whats it like to have a father throughout your life?"

Vulpesen watched her as she leaned against the wall, sensing the prelude to a question, most things he was able to answer pretty well. However, the words that came out of her mouth were not at all what he expected. "A father?" He smiled slightly as he thought of Zarro. "You realize Zarro is an amaran right? Yeah he raised me, but I never called him father. For me, he was always my master. I never knew my real father or mother. But I suppose he did take me as his own. Honestly, I can't tell you exactly what its like to have a true parent but I can tell you that with Zarro, I can always be sure that I've got a home. No matter what force order rejects me, I can always return to the Verres Estate."

"You realize i call you fox face for a reason, right?" She was mirroring his own tone about Zarro being an Amaran, a look on her face that pretty much just showed a joking joy in her as she laughed alittle and nodded. "Its still a father, he raised you instead of just leaving you in a cell till you were old enough to take his place... But i see your point and you really should be more optimistic. There is one force order that would always be glad to have a role like you as something too look up to." Her offer was veiled but also very easy to decipher as she had offered him a place here if he needed it.

"Fair enough.But you have to admit, I had quite a few differences from your normal family. Little things like drinking my water from a bowl, chasing speeders when we went to the races, oh during school choir the songs all sounded pretty much the same. Lots of howling." He grinned and listened as a muffled howl sounded from his robes "Guess Ace heard me. As for joining your order, a generous offer but I've had my own plans if I ever find myself without an allegiance."

"Trust me, im not the one to speak in reference too as in normal, and as for the howling, im sure you did just perfect at that. As for Ace, im glad that this conversation has a third ear." She rubbed her neck, the feeling of soreness slowly fading as she sat there and her eyes slid over towards Vulpesen as curiosity overcame her and she raised a brow. "And those plans are?"

[member="Darth Tsolan"]

He smiled and pulled Ace from his robes. "Mercy over wrath, unity over difference, freedom over order, and charity over pride. A group of warriors made to defend life, hope, and freedom in the galaxy. Accepting of all people whether jedi or if your goals somehow fit ours, sith as well. The Tenevi are a dream of mine. For now, I'm content to stay where I am. But should a day come where my path is taken from that of a jedi, this new order will rise to defend all that we can reach. I've long held the belief that I sacrifice my peace so others might have it. In this way, I must admit that the 't belong any sith have a point in that peace is a lie. Maybe I don't belong in any existing order. So I guess the logical choice is to make my own."

"Riiiight...." She smiled and leaned back against the wall, glancing at Ace and giving him a quick smile before she yawned again and sighed. "Darn, what ever we did is really tiring me out, hey fox face, lets get out of this Vault and go get something to drink like we were going to originally, unless you have somewhere to be?" She started to push herself up extremely slowly, her hands resting palm down on the ground.

[member="Darth Tsolan"]

Vulpesen rose an eyebrow at her response. Not exactly a large one, but as only the beginning of a plan, he really shouldn't have expected much. As Alex mentioned the drink, Vulpesen gave a nod and started to raised himself on the ground. "That sounds nice. Hopefully this time we won't get distracted by lightning bolts and evil alter-egos."

"Aww come on, a few quick shocks while we drink wont hurt you..." She grinned as she mentioned that and then started to laugh as she thought up something and soon found an interest in how small a jolt she could give someone or something. "I wonder if i could make a drinking game that involved force lightning as a punishment for losing, ofcourse only weak jolts but still it would be an interesting drinking game..."

Vulpesen let out a laugh as well as they walked up. "Well, it would add a whole new meaning to the word, 'buzzed.' But, I think I'll pass on the shocky shot game if you don't mind." He placed Ace on his shoulder as they walked, only to watch as Ace finally left his perch for another, leaping from him to Alex before sitthing down on her white robes. "I hope you don't mind a bit of glowing blue dog hair."
