Together again.(Keturah)

“Then, do.”

He could feel her anguish, her confusion, her anger, and he wanted nothing to do with it. He had no idea what to do with his own emotions, he could hardly be expected to help her through hers. Every emotion he felt, the fear, the shame, the longing and everything he felt towards Keturah, it was too much for him to process. It all felt like anger or at the very least it was all making him angry.

This was not who he was. He was not some child filled with trepidation. He was a killer, strong and confident, but this girl or this place, made him weak. No that was a lie. He was always weak. Weak and afraid.

He stepped to her, much closer than they had been this whole time. Inches from each other but not touching. He wanted to grab her, to throttle her, to kiss her again. But he did nothing, he just stood, close enough to feel the heat from her breath. Inches separated them, but it could have been miles. Both were so lost in their own thoughts.

Salvor's longing was practically contagious. Through all of the things that had occurred, all of the feelings swimming in her head, there was one thing Keturah could no longer ignore. What she felt for this Zabrak boy in front of her was more than mere friendship. She'd known that since the moment they'd met. The instant she ran into him on Taris. That brief moment where their eyes had met. She didn't know what to call the feeling that began surging through her now as he stood just inches from her. Whatever it was, it hurt. But it was a sweet pain. Suddenly, Keturah's body reacted before her mind could reject the action. She stretched upward as far as her legs could take her and placed her hands gently on Salvor's chest. Tilting her head up, she leaned in and kissed him again.

They were kissing again, this time at her behest. For the briefest moment Salvor considered pulling away, but he could not, he would not. He pulled her closer, kissing her back. For all the confusion he had in him, in this moment there was a sort of clarity. In this moment he needed, nothing, nothing but her.
