Too remote to make an effective demonstration…

The Padawan followed the Jedi Master's instructions. Soon enough, the child did lead them up to the boulders. Not because there were caves, but for a better view. She could sense they were close, if only they kept their wits about them.

Saruh was able to spot a set of caves stuck in a more mountainous area up ahead. She felt drawn to it. The child smirked under her helmet, they were indeed close. She looked down to where Master Raaf waited. "Up ahead!" she pointed towards the mountains, "I can sense it!"

The Terrelian easily leaped down, not even using the force, and motioned Raaf to follow her before bounding off, never suspecting any form of trouble...

Corvus smiled. She always found the boundless enthusiasm of Padawans infectious. So she jogged to keep up with Saruh but could not resist quoting the Code as they ran.

"Padawan, be mindful of the tenet of conquering recklessness. Learn to recognise when speed is not important. Race when being first is important. It is not always necessary to strike the first blow or reach a goal before anyone else. In fact it is sometimes vital to strike the last blow or to arrive after everyone else. Speed does not always lead to success. Does that make sense to you?"

She smiled as she ran, hoping she was sharing something useful and not simply dry learning.

(ooc - yes before the Event, so Force is usable - and the planet is in Mandalorian hands)

Saruh slowed down, skidding to a halt, and turned back to Master Raaf. She nodded, only half paying attention, Slow and steady wins the race, got it." She then continued on, walking. She hadn't even been panting, thanks to her biological advantages. However, if patience was needed, she knew all too well to give it a go.

Corvus was pleased that Saruh was listening. This was not about how fast they could run or for how long - but rather a lesson on the perils of rushing.

But soon they'd reached the entrance to the caves Corvus knew to contain crystals and Kinrath - and plenty of both. She was pleased that the Padawan had led them there so quickly and directly. But something was nagging at Corvus' mind. The Force was trying to tell her something but it wasn't being very specific. Perhaps it was just the proximity to so many predators? She didn't dismiss the threat, but she did park it for now.

Thrusting her hand in a pocket, she pulled out a couple of glow-sticks. Their blue glow would be a magnet to the residents of the caves, but by not using them, they would be walking around in the dark. "Can you use Force Sight?" Corvus asked, "If not, we'll need these."
