Total noob looking for questions answered

King Arthur

Totally new, but slowly learning.
Ok, another question:

Non-force-users require training to use a lightsaber. Do force-users require lightsaber training as well and if they do, what can they do before training?

Well, I assume they do one way or another as a lightsaber is at best a weapon like any other round. And would need its wielder to least have some background in its use. Sort like finn in tfa....so force user or not one has to have some training.

And as to what they can do before training can be of two things....find a teacher or trainer to take them on and maybe find a lightsaber. Make up a decent or good enough backstory to it as for example my char case.

His first saber was handed down from his mother who was a jedi and his second one was created by him during his time under his first Master. And for the most part some his training came from varied times in his life with his initial one being taught to him by his parents. Using training sabers till he graduated to actual sabers once he enters the academy under his first Master. Which he rarely used as time progress and due to things in his current timeline has to slowly try relearn and train using lightsabers.

So, untrained force-users can turn on the blade and sort of flail wildly, but not pull any fancy moves. Got it.
Well, true though it sort dangerous for them do that without injury....as the lightsaber is like they say in the movie. A more concentrated beam of light and would cut thru anything ....well mostly anything other than cortosoid and the likes.

So pulling out a saber without training is a crazy, last-resort move that shouldn't be attempted unless you're about to die anyway or just feel like your corpse should look cool?

well, sort of and guess put it in real world perspective.....it is like a normal joe try to wield an authentic samurai sword. He may be able to with a bit of luck though it is very taxing at the same time difficult for him wield it as effectively as a train one.
