Alric Kuhn
Handsome K'lor'slug
The news as of late had not been pleasant.
It wasn't the worst thing that he had ever gone through, but...well it certainly wasn't the best. There was a pit in his stomach, as deep as one could imagine there to be. His lips were a constant frown, and his wife was much the same. The new of Mira's illness had not hit either of them well.
Yet there was an upside.
Alric and Danger were not just any regular parents, no. They were perhaps two of the richest beings in the entire galaxy. At their disposal they had enormous wealth, countless scientists, hundreds upon thousands of laboratories, and pretty much anything else they needed. With those resources, with that vast wealth, they had already begun working to solve the problem. They knew the solution would not come easily or cheaply, but he was confident that it would come.
Of course a part of that confidence needed to be instilled into the person they were so worried about. Myra. Their daughter was not a fool, she knew that something was wrong, that something had not gone right. It was important that she understood she was sick, but also important to know that it would not stop her from living the life she deserved, not if Alric and Danger had their way.
That was why they continued as they had planned.
That was why they were going to build the ship as they had planned.
"The Foundry is ready." Alric told Danger as he wandered up behind her, sliding his arms around Danger's waist. "Just need the plans from Haven."
The plans they had worked on together.
