It's a New Day
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
[*]
Description: Follow the river from Maurius up through the mountains, climb to where the snow meets the grass and follow the now ice lodged waters through the surrounding peaks. Careful as you catch your breath, trudge through just a little further and you’ll start to feel it. You’ll start to feel at ease, careful on your step as the patches of ice are not nearly as strong as they look. You’ll climb around a bit more rock, and find a cave. In this cave you’ll find a rather large cavernous area, with an enlarged opening above. There as you look will find the bright Monastery sun shining down and a tree sitting where it shines the most.
Here you’ll find the waters that run from the top and down through the opening, and here you will find not only peace, but hope. Waters from this point are said to bear healing properties, properties that are no longer found the further out the water is from this place. The cavernous area is quite large, and seems to go on for ages with multiple levels going up and levels going down. Note the pools of water that have nowhere to run, as it sits carving out a porous honeycomb structure in some of the walls here.
This is a holy place, sacred in its nature and purpose.
NEXUS EFFECTS
The Place of Healing is true to its name. Sickened or wounded, those who have drank from the waters have been restored, most say you need but a drop of it. However, those who are attuned to the dark side may feel the burn of the light. Equal to some may say a beam of light, or Force Light.
Those attuned to the light will feel a sense of hope, a sense of calm, and ease. Those on a path to redemption will feel encouraged, the Place of Healing has been said to have imbued the area in which it resides with a resistance to the dark.
These feelings and this resistance grow stronger the closer one is to the tree. The tree that sits in what is nearly the very center of the the cave. Where the sun of Monastery gives its light, where holy waters of healing brush against the stone floor. The tree’s thick roots have dug themselves within the mountain and can be seen even within the pool of water as it moves out to meet with the land of snow and ice just beyond its entrance.
It is here that many who are aligned with the light feel at peace, where the Force is strongest for them. Where they can think with clarity and ease, where they can rest without worry. And if, it is true that T’ra Saa has been moved here as her final resting place. Then perhaps this was her final gift to the Jedi. More than just her sacrifice on Taivas, to give light in the dark. To bring hope to those who need it most, whatever the case.
May the Force guide whoever wishes to seek it out.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Upon the initial discovery of the Nexus by Nysana Talon she reached out to Nora Lithos of the Sacred Lotus. Together they trekked through the mountains, over snow and ice and into the cave. It is there they found the convergence of the light. How or why eluded them for the time being, and so they made contact with Jedi Master Coren Starchaser and Marakai Al’Orren. Together along with a small team they went back to the Place of Healing to unravel the mystery of how the Nexus came to be.
Going between the Nexus and the local municipalities to gather information became a full time job. Taking time to rest and study, and process what was available. Discussing information found and coming to a general consensus also took time but ultimately.
Local records provided little on the area save for the description of the Seven Guardians. However, what records that are there seem to indicate a connection from the ancient Order of the Sacred Circle. Most of the locals assume T’ra Saa’s body is the source of the nexus, however; the Jedi do not believe this was possible given the nature of T’ra’s death and where she died. They do believe however that the recent activity from the Sacred Lotus, and their mission along with the amount of healers that have been on the planet may have contributed to an awakening or reawakening of the Nexus.
The more the team explored the cave and slowly began to excavate it the more they discovered just what the cave had to offer them. Eventually the team decided to simply refer to the place as Saa Cave, naming the nexus the T'ra Saa Place of Healing as a happy compromise with the locals. Nysana then went to the Confederacy with the information from what was then referred to as the Saa Expedition. It took the Confederacy two weeks to go through all the information and another week to decide on what to do.
They left it to Nora Lithos and the Expedition team to decide on what they wanted to do. Giving them, namley, Nora and Nysana the authorization and funding to do whatever it was they saw fit for the Nexus.
Note: Restricted Material Mission, threads about the discovery of the nexus and its properties are underway as well!
Intent: To create a lightside nexus on Monastery to help unite the light.

Nexus Name: T’ra Saa Place of Healing / T'ra Saa Healing Nexus
Nexus Alignment: Light
Location: Monastery
Affiliation: Order of the Sacred Lotus | Confederacy of Independent Systems
Size: Medium
Accessibility: Private Access Only / Guarded.
Moderately hard to discover on foot, easy by air. Fairly isolated from the rest of Monastery, as it is hidden in a cave. Cave has three entrances, one is within the upper levels and that is sealed off by a massive boulder. Leaving the other two entrances, the mountain top and the river cave entrance.
The Place of Healing is not as easy to find as one would think. It is within the center of a mountain accessible through a cave and the opening of the mountain’s top, as well as a third entrance which is currently sealed off thanks to a massive boulder. The mountain itself is within a vast range of mountains nearly indistinguishable from the others. Nearly, the Place of Healing’s mountain is found only by the mountain lakes that rest between it and six other mountains. Forming what the locals called, ‘the Seven Guardians.’ Recent lore suggests that the Seven Guardians had been servants of the Light who carried with them the body of T’ra Saa and placed her here.

POINTS OF INTEREST
Underwater Passage - There is another cave, this one just to the left underneath some of the honeycomb stonework, no one is quite sure where it leads but at the moment it is not a worry to anyone.
Honeycomb Aquaculture - Runs within the healing pool, beneath the water’s surface where erosion has happened. Providing a unique honeycomb structure suitable for aquaculture. It also allows for the waters from the Healing Pool to make its way to the other side of the cave and eventually out into a river.
Terrace Gardens - Smaller walkways curve around tops of the cave giving access to smaller areas suitable for gardens. Bushes for berries, herbs and flowers may be planted here.
The Healing Pool - Behind the stone surface where the tree of light sits, to where the water from Glacier Falls pools is what is known as the Healing Waters. Accessible by merely diving in, or walking along the stone surface that runs around it and descending the stone ramp into it. This is where you find the honeycomb structure and even crystals but what these crystals do no one knows for sure but you’ll find that they give some light in the dark depths of the holy waters. Showing you a passage of where the water flows from one end of the cave to the other.
Tree of Light - When you arrive through the cave entrance along the ever eroding surface, edging your way across to the stone avoiding the frigid water that is the river. Your eyes will find the Tree of Light, it is the only tree in sight here. It is also large and towers over most even the tallest of humanoids. The closer you are to it, the more you feel a sense of calm and have a feeling of peace.
Glacier Falls - The name of the waterfall that feeds the cave and the river that runs from the Place of Healing through to Vitalii and Sanctuary.
Consular Lake - It is a massive lake that looks almost like a trinity knot sits between the Seven Guardians and is fed by the glaciers and snow that rest around the Guardians. Called Consular Lake because of the comfort it brings whether or not this is because of the nexus, or because it’s a beautiful lake has yet to be determined.
Sentinel Rock - The supply depot sits to the left of the Tree of Light if one is facing the river cave entrance. Then Sentinel Rock sits on the right, a massive rock surrounded by numerous other rocks stacked along the edge of cave’s wall just touching the waters as they brush up onto the surface. It is named such as it is where sentinel Jedi Master Coren Starchaser discovered what would eventually become a lightsaber forge.
Meditation Grove - The ramp curls left and then right, to the left will lead you to the Watchman’s Post, and to the right will lead you to the meditation grove. A small patch of ferns, berries and other small plants that looks over the waters and tree of light. Perfect for growing small fruits and herbs, as well as meditation and easing one’s mind.
Watchman’s Post - Accessible by ladder, and the natural stone ramp that curls from the stone faced surface it sits at the edge of a terrace. This mostly wooden structure with metal reinforcements serves as the lodgings for those tasked with watching the nexus.
Supply Depot - On the stone faced surface near the ramp going up, with pallets stacked against a stone wall. The depot is a makeshift area where supplies are being placed for those who keep watch.
SECURITY
Rating - Low
