Training on Raxus

Quinn stands just outside her ship looking over the junk world of Raxus.

Nico looked at the world as she was moving, her attention on some of the piles of scrap while she was working and dividing it up for herself with what she needed to work on and what she could use. They had been setting up salvage operations on the world and setting up areas to work cannibalizing parts. One of which was droid energy shields she could use in the gauntlets sabers with her shields on the gauntlets as she was walking in the kimono offering a smile to greet her padawan. She had her earrings and circlet while moving forward with a few things to work on. "Welcome to Raxus padawan, I hope you weren't waiting long."

"No I have just arrived master. Where shall we start? " She asks as she looks at the piles of scrap that lie before her. Her eyes then shift to her master

Well that was good to hear and she was moving with most of her attention now on the padawan moving around so her outfit was loose fitted to run around and train. "Well that is good, I don't like keeping my padawans waiting." She was ready to begin the training and get the girl along her way of being a jedi while bringing out one of the circlets. The gold band matching her bracelet while she presented it. "THis is for you and will help, the force powers it and it can keep the toxic atmosphere from harming you." She showed it for her and handed it over while showing her bracelets with the circlet and her taozin bracelet. "We'll be able to begin and I want to see you being a strong one. I have a good feeling about this padawan."

She takes the bracelet and puts it on "Thank you master I will not let your faith be unjustified." She says, she looks at her master and begins to think about the old days when master windu had started her training and then she tried not to cry at the thought.

Well that is good though she did't have a measure to go by and so long as she didn't go darkside or try to kill herself that was a win in Nico's book with a smile. "Well then let us begin with some of the basics. This world is ripe for exploring and working on your telepathy and telekinesis. I also want to know what you have been taught if yuo have been taught before."

"I know how to levitate you and force jump but that is about my knowledge of the force my former master was more about lightsaber combat." She says with tears in her eyes

Nico paused hearing the girl and looked at her while she moved a little, some words might not be right as she moved to the side and offered her arm. "It is alright padawan, I have lost masters as well. It can sting but you can find peace in knowing they are one with the force and watching over you." She offered her arm and shoulder for the girl while looking out. "And don't worry, this is all still new to me. My master died and left me alone as well as her family. Now her kid I said I would look after has written everyone off for a new family and abandoned what made her special or noble. So we all have some sort of baggage."

Wipes the tears out of her eyes as she studies her new master with a new respect "Thank you master." Now we should begin

Nico was ready to work it out while she was moving and had some excitement while she was moving forward and held her hand out. "You are welcome, it will eventually work out." She was leading the way towards the piles of scrap. "We will start with the beginning, and work on levitating the scrap out of the way. We'll need some training room and platforms or just some droids we can use."

She concentrates hard on the piles and barely moves them

Nico continued to watch her and making a small course for them to work on while she moved over and adjusted some of it, thoughts on testing and teaching her padawan how best to work while some of her attention to the small details and she was working with the droids going over their weapons. and shielding as the old force shields still functioned. She could get those working while looking over the course for her padawan. "Alright, while I get this working to practice against with your blade." She was looking at her and at the sections of metal that had been worked on while she got ready.for seeing how she did.

She continued to try harder as she watched her master with new respect. She wondered how long it would take to become as good as her

Nico watched her keep going at it and gave a nod of approval. Backing away as she looked at the droid and the xythan force shields she was able to get worked as they glimmered flickering between on and off with the minimal power. She'd need to work on they but it should with enough work go forward as she spoke. "Good work, now lets see some of those saber techniques. These droids are using an old model shield designed to stop lightsabers so they won't break easily... but they are old, scrap worthy and most importantly not really armed. I want to make sure you can handle some droid and shielded enemies."

She pulls her dual bladed purple lightsaber and attacks

Nico watched her padawan go after the droids and kept her attention on everything. Her eyes going almost full black as she was taking in what was happening. She could see the movements of her padawan and the blocky movements of the droid but there was the energy shield that was built for that purpose. The deflection, the movement and as some of the shield failed from the power cells she was moving them out of the way towards herself and going over the parts. Identifying them and replacing the cells with extra ones from her gauntlets before she was taking a seat ready to begin with some of the fun. THey still had the best stuff to do.

Quinn attacked like a hurricane slash parry stab. She felt so good to use her saberstaff again.

Nico kept seeing her and there was something coming off of her padawan as she was watching and waiting. Quinn seemed to rather be liking the combat and battle before the jedi knight was working on things and found a better place to sit and observe it all. She was looking over some of the things that she had been fighting and the damage was there but more then that. "Nice work, though now we have to see what you learned from this."
