Description: Among the various Great Houses of Axxila, House Tregessar is perhaps most famed for the skill and quality of its personal army. The soldiers of Houes Tregessar are contracted out across the planet as Security Forces, and wear a standard uniform and set of armor for recognition and infamy.

Properly termed the MSAS (Modular Security Armor System,) Tregessar security armor is really quite basic, but has a few advantages over more conventional security armor. It consists of an armorweave bodyglove, worn under a uniform, with a heavy duraplast chestplate and thigh plates, and Synthleather-Desh reinforced kneepads and armguards. A helmet is not included in the basic kit, but troopers do wear a rebreather (with built-in commlink) to give them immunity to most gases and atmospheric poisons, and a set of combat Scanner Goggles.

Protection-wise, the duraplast chestpiece offers exceptional protection against projectiles, with respectable resistance to blasters. Overall coverage is limited, and the arms and lower legs in particular are not all that well protected.

This is partially offset by the Riot/Boarding Armor kit which can be added on. This is a heavy modular kit that attaches to built-in connectors on the basic armor, and adds significantly to its defensive capabilities (though it drastically reduces mobility).

A fully enclosed helmet is added, with a built in HUD and an external life support capsule attached to the chest. Additional duraplast carapace pieces are attached to the limbs (with a vibroblade standard on the right arm). Perhaps most notably is the inclusion of a heavy Ballistic Shield made from layers of DuraArmor. The shield offers exceptional resistance to most weaponry but is quite heavy and can be unwieldy. In a mobile combat environment, it will often not be equipped, but it is quite exceptional at boarding actions or close quarters situations. Being both heavy and somewhat expensive to make, the Riot addon is only produced in limited amounts, usually for dedicated assault squads and boarding or riot companies.

The armor is symbolic of Houes Tregessar and is not authorized for open market sale. The house will expend considerable effort and resources to track down and eliminate black market sources for the armor, and unauthorized individuals found wearing it are subject to immediate termination. The armor also sees limited use by Shadowline, usually on ship security crews and support troops (never on front-line/assault forces).

An officer variant looks quite different but is functionally the same as the basic armor.

I admit to being somewhat confused as to what makes it seem minor in nature. It's meant to be used as standard armor for House Tregessar's private military, which numbers in the tens or hundreds of thousands at least. Not quite minor production levels to my understanding.

What about if I indicated that the heavy addon is minor instead? That would make sense, as only a percentage of the soldiers would have it available.

That sounds good!

Seeing that the basic mode of the armor can definitely go mass produced considering its quality and materials while the heavy/riot armor feature would be on used with a select group of NPCs (as is the Minor production). Balances it out better as well.

So yeah, put up the riot/heavy feature of the armor as Minor Produced while the basic as Mass Produced and I will hit the Pending Secondary button.
