Trouble in Val'hala

Perth Levov

It matters not who I am. My power is all that shou
Perth held back as Zmej entered the apartment. Too many wandering about would only increase the risk of a detonation. Once Zmej had identified the bomb, and alerted her, Perth followed her in.

She performed a perfunctory sweep of the apartment. Sometimes you spotted things the first person missed. But not on this occasion. “He’s not coming back, that’s for sure,” Perth said as she examined the bomb. Crude but effective, designed for maximum damage and relying on someone blundering in.

“Perhaps he underestimates us? Or maybe he isn’t expecting Force sensitives? Either way, that ought to give us an edge. Not that he’s left us much to work with.”

Given there was nothing else to do, Perth picked up the man’s clothes and checked the pockets. Fluff was the main occupant of the garments but the search finally paid off when she found half of a numbered ticket. Given it sported a coffee stain and was printed on a familiar shade of green, she deduced its origin.

“I don’t have an address, but at least we know where he likes to go for his coffee. There can only be so many within a few blocks of this place. It’s better than nothing.”

Satisfied with the answer, Kaalia relinquished the pressure she put on Trigger's neck. Without speaking a word, she turned on her heel, walked over to [member="Halle Ren"], and nodded. "We have our location. I suggest we move." The redhead cared little for the reaction Halle got for igniting the saber, the job had to be done and if intimidation is what it took then so be it. The stares of the patrons were left unanswered as she didn't even turn to look at them, almost pretending they didn't exist. Exiting the building, The Ren quickly looked around before getting to moving towards the market district. There were warehouses to be checked, and wasting time was never a good idea. "Let's hurry," Kaalia said to her fellow Ren, "we don't want any of the witnesses letting Cannon know we are coming before we can strike."
