Okay then, I guess we have to get our name out there. Maybe do something to show that we have resolve to work the faction. Perhaps attack a mine, kidnap an important NPC, terrorist attack.
From what I have seen of the previous Consortium, the one Nixara started up awhile back, which I participated in, we need to be able to garner interest. But more than that we have to be able to maintain interest. I would suggest that we begin some basic threads just to show that even though we are small we are doing things and in making threads we might just get the attention of others.
I am sure that you know all this, I am just putting thoughts onto paper, or screen as it were, at the moment.

Are you meaning the Chancellor of the Republic?
Gutsy move, I grant. But before we try it I would suggest that we first talk to the Republic faction and then talk to the writer of the character at the moment. If we just go in, start a thread and attack, I think we are liable to having our backsides handed to us by the greater portion of the Republic.
I'm not opposed, I think it would be fun. But we need to check in with the people we are going to fighting, hear what they have to say so that there is agreement on both ends. If they say no for the moment, due to a lack of power on our part, then perhaps we can build up to that. Collect power and resources until we can do it.

How about an NPC Beskar Smith? Unless [member="Brynyar Ordo"] has learned how to craft Beskar armor.
Maybe put the NPC through the Defiler program I have in mind. Then we could use him to make better armor at a later time, when we get some of that rare material.
After the thread we were doing I was thinking of using the Castellan restraint mind control technique for our Defilers: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Castellan_restraints

Thinking of starting the thread, though I would prefer if I had more than just writer.
I can do it by myself, but it would be rather dull, RPing is not quite as fun when alone right?
The first step would be collecting some of the Dimalium-6, which could also be used to enhance any spice the Consortium might decide to sell at a later point. That would be one thread, while the next thread would be distilling and testing the new IX serum on some subjects.
