No I mean the actual republic chancellor , I have plenty of experienced mercenaries wanting to do this. I also have not asked any of my mandalorian brethren yet ethier. We dont have to be successful , but I do believe it would be a way of making the consortium look more like an ambitious threat again.

I'm all for trying it. But we should still contact the Republic admin and the writer of the chancellor himself.

It's better to ask and be told no, compared to not asking and going ahead, which could get us ignored or into trouble. This is a mutual RPing site after all and it would not do to not take into consideration the preferences of others.

We could offer the fact that it would be a story building opportunity for those interested in aiding the defense of the chancellor, or perhaps hunting down the culprits, if we get away with it. While on the other hand if we fail it could lead to a need to increase security around the chancellor.

Okay so I spoke with the admin of the Republic and he said that we are fine to try. I am contacting the Chancellor about it right now. I believe that we will be given a fair chance at this. I have been warned that the security will be, understandably, extreme. I think we should try and do some preparatory threads, gathering a few men, maybe stealing a ship so that we have access to some Republic codes, and that sort of thing.

But I just wanted to say that I have been given a thumbs up so far to making an attempt.

Okay so the writer of the Chancellor decided that he did not want this going on right now. He has a lot on his plate and would prefer to be left to it.

So I guess that means for now we move onto something else. I will get a thread up about getting the Dimalium-6 [member="Brynyar Ordo"] if you want to join you are welcome.

I've RP'ed with here a little on another character. Definitely a fun addition to the team. Again, I'm limited in what I can do at the moment but I will continue working on the thread as best I can. If you have any suggestions about other ideas I would love to hear them.
