DESCRIPTION
A masterpiece of Sith Alchemy this sword was crafted with standard Sith rituals, therefore it possess many of the traits a Sith Sword should have. Different to other weapons of this type however, it has been made from painfully forged songsteel. During the craftsmanship process of the main blade, the dark side energy has been infused into the blade after the blade was quenched but before differential tempering was applied to it, giving it the ability to maintain a sharp edge without maintenance. It is resistant against lightsabers, can ground lightning and deflect directed-energy weapons, such as blaster shots. But its presence in the Force will warn any Jedi of its wielder's arrival and ruin any attempts of stealth missions among light-siders.

Strengths:

• Sith Blade: It possess the quality of many other Sith Swords: it can ground Force-lightning, deflect directed-energy weapons and possesses a sharp edge that never goes dull.
• Duelling Blade: Much like a curved-hilt lightsaber, this blade was designed with the art of the duel in mind. A razor sharp cut and thrust-weapon, it is superior in close combat to many standard blades.
• Lightsaber resistance: Due to the presence of songsteel, it can resist lightsabers and due to the alchemy can cut through durasteel
• Painless: Due to an odd conjunction when the blade was being made, wounds made by the blade are almost painless. This could be used to deliver poison without the targets awareness, but given the size of the blade it's quite unlikely. A careless user is much more likely to cut themselves on the blade.

Weaknesses:

• Lightside: Bursts of lightside energy can harm or even render the sword an ordinary songsteel blade.
• Duelling Blade: Much like a curved-hilt lightsaber, this blade is poorer at deflecting directed energy weapons (although curiously, it's ability to ground and channel Force-lightning is unaffected).
• Presence: The sword has a palpable darkside presence, detectable by Jedi.
• Force-nullifiers: Voidstones and ysalamiri will suppress the Force-abilities beyond those of normal songsteel.

120cm (almost 4ft) is very long for a one handed sword, being more comparable to a Scottish Claymore or other two-handed weapon. Given the lightness of Songsteel the weight checks out, but it seems to me this would be more of a hand-and-a-half model.

This isn't really huge issue, there's no requirement for dire realism in swords, just wanted to point it out. If you like things as is just tag and let me know, or make any edits you want and we'll proceed.

Good spot. I took rapier length rather than saber length, when it's closer to a saber design.

Updated. I droped .2kg off the weight to account for 30cm less length.
