Solan nodded for a moment, still thinking on the first set of words before he blinked realizing something, he couldnt dance... at all. "Wait, dancing, im uh, not very good at that in the very least, its kind of like seeing a blind man run an obstacle course." He smiled and swallow, great he hadn't even considered that sort of thing, and now... oh boy if she brought him dancing he would fall flat on his face. He stood none the less though and followed to make sure he was not lost in his voice. [member="Sam Jhovna"]

Ah. First time dancer too. That required a change of pace then.

"Oh my. Tsk tsk tsk. You'll never get a woman like me into bed with you if you don't know how to dance?"

She raised a finger again and clapped with gusto,

"Ah yes. Then I shall teach you a few steps. Come with me. My car is just outside."

Sam trotted out of the cantina and beeped her car doors open. It was a sports car of some luxury, glittering in baby blue colors.

"Get in. I know a studio nearby were we can start. ...Oh? Unless you drove here? Do you want to follow me?"

She cocked her head and wondered. Was she kidnapping another one of her dates? Oh dear. She needed to stop kidnapping all her favorite boys.

"Bed uh i... what..." Solan was absolutely flustered now and tried to hide it by pulling up his hood the moment they were outside of the building, his hands remaining there for a moment before he breathed in deeply and focused his mind. "Uh no i walked here, i dont really make much of anything so no money for a air speeder... also sorry about my inabilities, im so absolutely new to this i didnt even know if the Cantina was the right place to meet up at first." He walked over to the air speeder and glanced in smiling at her as he stood there and waited for her to get in first. [member="Sam Jhovna"]

It was one the most glaring pitfalls of Jedi dating. The men had absolutely nothing to offer the woman except friendship. No house, no transportation, no industrial skills; nada. Many of them didn't even want a bedroom partner either. It was truly something the Jedi Order needed to work on. Teaching their men how to be creatures in nature. Women don't need swordsmen, they need partners. No wonder so few Jedi had relationships? Non of the men could cook, or clean, or dress themselves for the city. It was so... Uncivilized.

She nodded and took it all in. Well? One step at a time. If she was going to save this evening then they were gonna need some music,

"Hop in then." Her voice remained optimistic, "...It's not very far and I have a feeling you're going to love it."

The interior of the car was nicer than the outside and smelled like new leather. The two front seats were custom race gear and the digital console was special made for enhanced precision. She turned the music down to a crawl and a whisper so they could talk,

"One of these days you're going to know exactly what kind of woman you want Mr Charr. And then your going to meet her. But you're also going to need to be powerful enough to step up and grab her. To make her yours. To just, whisk her right off her feet and make her a princess. ...Step one, will be dancing."

She grinned as she slammed on the accelerator,

"...After all, girls just want to have fun. Hehe."

Solan sat down in the seat and noticed a slight change, something he had said set the woman off to talk about being powerful and knowing what kind of woman he would want... he thought that much was simple, that it was someone you grew with and not just connected with, but apparently there was far more than that and this was all so new to him he cursed himself and hid the utter confusion in the back of his mind while he sat there and listened.

He didn't really say much as he still contemplated the things that she had said, the words that had taken form in the air like the sound of the spring breeze, calm and flowing. It made him think about what he did want and further than just someone that grew with him rather than make a more primal feelings become more important than Solan had even considered. This woman had money where Solan's one possession was his home on Dantooine, this woman had experience where Solan had nothing but a minor grasp on what he had thought relations were. He wondered to himself while keeping focused on her as she talked and drove. [member="Sam Jhovna"]

It was in that exact moment when [member="Solan Charr"] stopped becoming her date and rapidly became her student. Not her first student in the ways of City Dating, but perhaps her latest. It was also in that precise moment when she decided that they didn't have much of a future together as a couple. Solan had surrendered that dynamic by now. But, you never know.

"The cantina was a good pick, by the way. It tells me that you enjoy social settings, maybe a personal drink, and don't mind getting dirty. Locations are important because they must hold a potential interest for both parties. If not in fascination, than at least in fun. ...But what do I know?"

The speeder flew through the sky at immense speeds. Perhaps a wee bit too fast? You can never tell in the evenings. Bah.

"So what prompted you start looking for a mate Mr Charr? I'm surprised you didn't start sooner. Surely there must have been girl's around as you were growing up? Didn't strike your fancy eh? Hehe. Decided to be more adventurous then? Not every man has the stomach for a blind date, you know."

"I... wasnt around anyone, in truth i was secluded alone in the home that had belonged to my parents before they were murdered a half dozen years ago... i was branded a demon or Sith so i spent much of my time writing or stargazing, had alot of time to improve and i found myself finding comfort in poetry and in stories that had been kept in the home." He swallowed as he said that, he was open at the reason for his seclusion and the fact that he was separated from society in the middle of no where, but the event still left scars should someone dig to deep. "I figured with the truth easier seen here, and the fact that im not a monster here it was worth attempting to find what my family had, so i took a chance and so far i seem to be doing rather poorly." [member="Sam Jhovna"]

Sam chuckled a little and smiled,

"Well. With a story like that it's no wonder. I myself am your complete opposite. Having lived and thrived within the social structures of our Galaxies Capital for years. I've dated hundreds of boys, slept with a fine number of handsome men, and trained more than one wookiee how to dance too."

She looked over and gave him a wink,

"You're in rather good hands."

The air speeder arrived at a rather boring residential shopping center surrounded by a green park. It was still the city, but only remotely so. They landed with a bump and a hum. Sam popped the doors.

"We're here! Jump out."

[member="Solan Charr"]

Solan ducked out and breathed in, his lips curling into a smile at the green park. "Cleaner than much of the city, much better than the trees of steel and grass of stone." He said the line without noticing and turned back to her once she came around the airspeeder. "Where too, or are we doing this in the green park?" He wore a much calmer and cheerful smile now, he liked it when things were more natural and he wasnt in some foreign setting, he found nature to be more... natural than any cafe or cantina, though he knew this was not the case for most so instead he dealt with it by letting others feel as if they were comfortable best he could. Sam listened to the Force and noted his voice with great care. Though their target for the evening was not the park at all. Perhaps something to keep in mind though.

"Just here. An old roommate of mine runs that Yoga Studio right there. Let me text her."

A moment passed as Sam touched her car's com console. A reply came quickly and Sam smiled,

"Good. She keeps the same code. ...Here. Let's open the door and turn on a few lights. It may be studio for yoga, but it will suit our needs just fine."

Entering the large space came easily with the door code. Past the modern lobby was a mated floor decorated in eggshell white and ribbon textures. The walls were mostly tall mirrors and the sound system dominated much of the back wall. It was a rather wealthy establishment.

"So... What shall it be? Should we start with a Waltz? Mmm. I wonder if you have soft hands? Hehe. Dancing with a lady requires nibble fingers."

[member="Solan Charr"]

"Well, i guess the dance is up to you, seeing as i barely know which dance the names correlate to so the movements and types are completely up to you and your choice." He looked around and took a few steps, sliding his feet around abit as he tested how smooth the floor was as well as how freely he would be able to move around on it, it seemed well enough so it wasnt a big concern but it occupied his mind while he waited for her answer. "Ah. Ladies choice it is then."

Sam wandered over to the sound system and engaged a slow dance. It would set the mood perfectly.

"The beginner's waltz is a very easy step and you can build upon it as you go. The footwork goes like so. One, two, three. One, two, three. ...Stand next to me. Just to my left. There. Do it with me."

The Jedi girl began to teach and give an example. They practiced the first steps together and began with the turns. Standing side by side and mimicking each other.

"One, two, three. Just like that. And turn. Do it again. One, two, three."

It was time to see if [member="Solan Charr"] could stay in rhythm and had the coordination to match the steps as she performed them.

At first, his foot steps were out of place and off rhythm with hers making him look like he ws stomping around rather than sticking to it, but something clicked after about three minutes into trying it. He noticed the steps could be thought of like steps of forms just more fluid like that of words. With that said he slowly eased into the right rhythm nd from there edged into such a point as to the fact that Solan found himself smiling at getting it... sort of. [member="Sam Jhovna"]

[member="Solan Charr"] was getting the hang of it. Following the steps, Sam talked about posture, how to carry yourself, leading as a man, and good eye contact. Dancing was a partnership that mimicked any good relationship. Teamwork, practice, respect, and fun company. It really was supposed to be fun and sexy entertainment, after all.

"Good work Mr Charr. I think you have the natural tendencies. Surprisingly though is your weight and dexterity? I couldn't help but notice that your body type is rather unique? You wouldn't happen to know anything about that, hmm?"

Sam was guessing that Charr wasn't exactly your average human male.

Solan continued as he spoke, his words focused and soft against the silence of the yoga studio. "My bones are cartilaginous, more flexible than a normal humans but also more susceptible to breaking, though not a week as someone with say hollow or weak bones in general." His hands returned to his side as he turned to her nd smiled, his hand moving to his eyes, taping one. "Im also partially blind." [member="Sam Jhovna"]

"Then we have something in common. I myself have a tired pair of eyes too. Hehe."

She waved away the comment. That was a conversation for another time. Sam smiled playful and gave a small curtsy,

"So [member="Solan Charr"]? Would you like to try a real dance now? I'd be honored good sir."

With a clap of her hands the music restarted and Sam gave Solan a fun wink. It was time to put that practice to the test.

Solan nodded and stepped forward, setting his feet and holding out a hand while he waited for her to take it. "I would gladly try." He saw the movements as something like the forms with a saber, only instead of holding a saber, he moved with another being, directed by their movements as he was by his own. [member="Sam Jhovna"]

They danced for a moment in time that could have lasted forever. When Sam danced she was immune to the currents of the present. It was a release for her and she carried no burdens there with her. So as she disengaged and the music stopped, Sam could only smile and clap her hands together. Charr had done a wonderful job.

"Well Mr [member="Solan Charr"]? I must say. Your shaping up into the perfect boyfriend quite nicely. Hehe. I'd call this date a complete success! Well done sir. I think you deserve a bow."

Sam made a grand playful gesture and arose with a wink,

"Thank you Apprentice Jedi for the wonderful evening."

He blinked and bowed back to her as she had done so to him. "Really, im really quite surprised that you said that... never really thought id do anywhere near well..." He rubbed his neck and glanced to the side as he looked down at his foot and made a few steps in place before. Breathing in he smiled back, pale blue eyes bright now as he spoke with a bit more volume and sound behind his voice. "Your welcome miss [member="Sam Jhovna"], i am happy that i was able to provide you a good time and hope that others can do that as well for you."

"Confidence, Mr Charr. You can catch any fish, with enough confidence."

She held up a single finger and smiled. It was a personal joke.

"Well then. Where can I drop you? ...Just give me a moment to lock up. Then we can be on our way."
