Description:
The TT-56's crew is comprised of three individuals; one to fly the ship, one to man the weapons, and one navigation crew person. Because it's a troop transport, all cargo space was swapped out in favour of allowing more passengers (troops). It can hold anywhere between 20-30 passengers comfortably.
TT-56 is a fast moving transport with good maneuverability to get troops in and out of the field. However, because it is poorly armed the TT-56 should never be utilized for moving troops across the surface of the planet in times of battle. It is strictly a drop/pick up and go style ship. TT-56 has two shield designs, one for entering and returning to space and one for defense in combat situations where it could likely come under fire.
TT-56 has two flak guns that can spray areas or switch over to single line to fire on a specific target. Other than clearing a landing zone with little to no threat, it is not a combat ship. The guided missiles can be used to target anything from other missiles directed at them to moving targets. Since TT-56 does not have a traditional cargo space, it can only carry six (6) missiles per tube.
