  • Name: Tumbili

  • Designation: Semi-Sentient
  • Homeworld: Heklor
  • Language: Hoots, grunts, various noises
  • Average height of adults: 0.7 meters
  • Skin color: Dark grey and pink
  • Hair color: Black
  • Breathes: Type I

  • Strengths:
  • Intelligence: Tumbilis are intelligent little apes, and can use tools as well as often figure out how to use basic technologies. (I don't mean they can shoot a blaster, I mean they can pull the trigger and a blaster bolt goes flying off somewhere randomly)
  • Force sensitive: Evolved to deal with the Mwitu's blast of force energy, which they use to hunt small prety just like Tumbilis, the Tumbili have evolved a sort of force barrier. The barrier activates instinctivly, and can not be activated as will, and only when the ape sees the danger coming. The barrier is not a true force barrier due to the fact that it dosen't 'stay activated'. It 'activates' for a sheer moment, to deflect incoming danger, and then dissipears. If you hit one in the back, there will be no barrier. It also takes a ridiculously long time for the barrier to "re-charge", usually a full day. The barrier also has the effect of leaving the monkey extremely tired, with only enough energy to get away from the thing that attacked them in the first place. Due to these limitations, ancient Mgena often attacked Tumbili families in pairs, one would attack the monkey from the front, and trigger the barrier. Then the other hunter would attack from behind, where the ape is defenceless.
  • Agile: As small tree-dwelling creatures, Tumbili are very agile.
  • Weaknesses:
  • Small size: Tumbili apes are small, and therfore fairly fragile. A human could easily kill a Tumbili in one blow.
  • Family man: Tumbili live in large family groups, and a Tumbili that is seperated from his family will often quickly fall in to depression, and may die, unless they are seperated very young, in which case they may die due to being unable to take care of themselves.
  • Curious: Tumbili are very curious animals, which can often get them in to trouble, or killed. Tumbili were known to 'raid' buildings in both acneint Mgena and modern Megna cities, taking food, small shiny objects, and just about anything else. Their curiosity can also be used to trap them though, as they will try and get to nearly any shiny object they deem fit.

  • Distinctions: Tumbili are small apes with black fur covering most of their bodies, other then their hands, feet, and parts of their face. They have oppasable feet, allowing them to grip on to branches and such as if their feet were hands, and oppasable thumbs on their hands- much like humans.
  • Average Lifespan: 25-30 standard years
  • Races: No distinct races.
  • Estimated Population: 5,000,000 on Heklor
  • Diet: Fruits of all kinds, and some leaves.
  • Communication: Hoots, grunts, various noises

  • Technology level: Tumbili can use tools, such as a stick to pull insects out of a tree hive.

  • General behavior: Tumbili's main trait is their extreme curiosity. They were known to get everywhere in modern Mgena cities, and touch everything. Anything with lights, buttons, levers, or triggers Tumbili would want to investigate, to figure out what it does. And anything shiny, they would want to take. This also makes them extremely brave, and could get them hurt or killed.

  • History: Modern Mgena scientists beleve that Mgena evolved from Tumbili.

  • Notable Player-Characters: None
  • Intent: To make another animal for Heklor's ecology, to make a species that the Mgena evolved from, and to make an adorable monkey.
