Turning back the clock [Development]

Lucien looked into a half empty bottle of red wine. the quiet snores of his son napping on the couch across from him. He looked so innocent, so vulnerable it was when he was asleep that Darien looked like he was on the inside ... vulnerable ... Lucien put the wine bottle down neglecting to fill his glass again. He moved over to the coach his son was lay on and sat on the arm to muss his son's hair. His son deserved better than lucien had given him. Darien had suffered more in 17 years than most people would in a lifetime. Lucien had adopted him shortly after Darien watched both his parents get killed and unsure of how to help and protect the broken boy he'd done what he felt safest and sent him to boarding school ... in hindsight that was the worst thing he could do. Lucien stroked his boys hair for what felt like both an eternity and no time at all concurrently. Lucien longed to turn back the clock and give him a childhood a proper one. Lucien knew it was impossible to do that but he could do something similar. Drinking usually helped null lucien's feelings but tonight all his feelings seemed to have ganged up to punch him in the gut. He didn't like being punched in the gut.

Lucien got to thinking and recalled a Bussiness Woman by the name of [member="Tmoxin Temi"] developing some age reversal technology she promised three years but Lucien was sure with some encouragement she could be pushed to go back further. She could give Lucien a second chance at fatherhood. Eventually Darien woke up, the feeling of his father stroking his head was alien to him ... his farther wasn't the contact type ... so who was ruffling his hair. Darien shot up breathing heavily in shock, a mix of relief and confusion rising to his face when he saw it was just his father.

"Shush,shush ... It's only me" Lucien said sliding down to sit next to his son and easing his son's head back down to rest on his lap."Only me" Darien was too groggy to question this so he just let himself be lay down again. His father had never been this close and darien decided he liked it , it felt safe. after a while lucien spoke again "Darien If there was a way to make you a child again so you can have a second chance at me being a good dad, would you want me to do it?" He asked quietly scared of just what his son would say, years of resentment could have come flooding out but it didn't just a quiet almost unintelligible 'yes'. Lucien nodded and continued to stroke his son's head, resolved to contact this Miss. Temi in the morning to ask for a meeting.

Tmoxin was back on Kamino after signing a new contract for Morpho Pharmaceuticals. Marek Starchaser wanted to a research team to develop energy drinks and stimulants for professional galaxy sports - swoop biking, pod racing, and shock boxing circuits, for example. The Brightstar CEO had also given her a luxury yacht, the Sovereign Stingray, as… perhaps a signing bonus would be the correct term and most proper term for it.

The yacht was parked in the Morpho hangar, and the Hapan business owner was at her desk watching a presentation about adrenaline and the effects of stimulants on the immune system and brain function given by a few of her researchers. I could use a stimulant just about now, she thought yawning but trying to pay attention just the same.

However, her thoughts floated over to the Age-Renewal Treatment Chamber and how it was ready to go back into another clinical trial. But the plans to modify it and make a personal model for wealthy households across the galaxy had been stalled. Her partner Gerion Ardik was away on Department of Law affairs which left her to lead the recruitment of engineers to modify the large and bulky device. This had proved difficult and slow-going.

But eventually and if the stars aligned, she would be able to begin modifying the Treatment Chamber to make it safer and more available for widespread use.

Dear Madam Temi

I need your help with a rather sensitive issue I would prefer to discuss face to face. I am given to understand you are about to undergo clinical trials concerning your Age-Renewal Treatment Chamber. I will be able to assist both financially and physically in this. I can come to your facility on Kamino will you met with me"

Regards
Lucien Cordel

The now sober Lucien fired off a message to [member="Tmoxin Temi"] and having received a reply in the affirmative Lucien and his son set of for Kamino . Lucien was rather nervous he had read of the side effects in the first clinical trials , he hadn't told them to darrien ... his son had enough on his mind. Was he a bad parent of risking this to make himself feel less inadequate. It was a catch 22 whatever he did he seemed to risk hurting his son.

None the less he and Darien went to Kamino to meet the blood Monarch. Kamino was a starkly clinical world captivatingly beautiful but highly clinical.Lucien wasn't sure wether that filled him with dread or confidence. It didn't seem to phase Darien though. His son was bubblier than lucien had ever seen him which was something he supposed. They were directed to Tmoxin's offices. The time had come to put on a brave face.

"Thank you for seeing us" Lucien said offering his hand "I feel you may be able to help me, This is my son Daren" He said putting a hand on his son's shoulder and lightly drawing him out from behind him "Circumstances conspired to deprive him of an adequate childhood ... I think your expertise can help me with that" He lifted his hand from his son's shoulder and wrung them together "The issue is I'm going to need more than the standard three years at the very least I want six ... I need , six" He sighed . "To that end I am willing to fund extensive and expedited clinical trials"

"Will you help me? ... us?"

Darien had woken the morning after his slightly odd encounter with his dad feeling fuzzy. That night was the first real time he had looked at lucien and felt an intimate bond, It was nice. He had found his father at his computer and vaguely recalled him mentioning a way to get darien his childhood back. He had fallen asleep and just assumed it was a dream though but apparently not.It seemed farther had contacted a biochemist or something, If she could help he would be happy. He pinched himself as he sat next to his father's chair just to check he wasn't dreaming, he wasn't.

The time between home and Kamino passed by in a blur and in what felt like no time at all he was stood in a rather stark office trying to avoid eye contact with [member="Tmoxin Temi"] by standing behind his farther. They were talking about trials he thought. but he was intentionally focusing on the rain and not what the procedure involved. He didn't want to get started off. He was forced to make eye contact with Tmoxin by his father's gentle tug though. He looked then quickly put his head down and shuffled his feet. "I'm Darrien by the way" He tried to smile but he was still a bit nervous. well a lot nervous really.

Lucien Cordel was exactly the type of client Tmoxin was looking for. Wealthy, determined, inspired... with some minor regrets about his son. She didn't find his circumstances sad. This was business at the end of the day, and if Mr. Cordel wanted to reverse his progeny's age to have a second chance at being a better father, it was not the Hapan's place to judge.

"Of course, Mr. Cordel," she said, after pleasantries were exchanged. His son was shy and presumably anxious about what his father had in store. "Six years will require more than a clinical trial. We will have to re-engineer the Age-Renewal Chamber, although I have to admit, I'm quite intrigued to take on a contract that will benefit both of us like this."

Her team of scientists had been researching this very thing after all - how to increase the years which the Treatment Chamber could reverse. And they decided first of all, that Tmoxin would to purchase some special ingredients.

"Excuse me for a moment," she said, going into another room in her office where Mr. Cordel would not be able to hear her. She sent [member="Orick T'ane"] a quick holomessage with two words: Black Moth. She expected that would call him back to her service as soon as he received the holo.

She came back into her office where father and son sat and said, "Let's go visit the researchers shall we? And as we walk to the laboratory, tell me about your company and yourself, Lucien."

They would stroll together through the stark and sterile Morpho facility as Kamionan workers passed by them in the corridor. "The Kaminoans are excellent scientists. Why I really resisted Kamino at first for the Morpho headquarter location, but after seeing these Kaminoans at work, I wouldn't trust any science endeavors to another species now. But I asked you about your business. Continue," she said.

Roon was a perfect planet, it was quiet and it was the kind of planet that he could see moving his company too, not just to be close to his wife more, but the high power executive types would enjoy the custom ship work he was capable of. Ana was off doing something with the Mandos, some healers thing or the other. He probably should know more about it than he did, but it was one of those force things, and he didn't know anything about the force.

The holocom beeped angrily at him from the small table next to the bed, rolling over he pulled the pillow over his head, he didn't feel like dealing with anyone. The holocom kept beeping and he wondered who the hell was so insistent that they would make it a priority call. Ana had a special code that he had given to her so that when she called he knew who it was. He rolled over and sighed, he slapped the holocom and sighed. He knew the face, he had no idea how [member="Tmoxin Temi"] had gotten the access to call him and it made him angry. there was nothing special about her message, just two little words, black moth, but in the moment that he heard them, he felt like he was underwater again for just a moment, the world seemed to disconnect and as things connected, there seemed to be a new importance in that simple call.

He stood and tapped in the code that would return the call, he didn't even bother to put a shirt on. Standing there bare chested, scars crisscrossing his torso, his Republic commando tattoo visible on his upper arm, he wondered why she had called him. The reasoning wasn't something he would worry about for too long, what mattered was calling her back.

Lucien breathed a sigh of relief she would help him, it seemed his request was bigger than he first appreciated, Reengineering would likely be costly but he would pay the price he had too if it rid him of at least some of his guilt. "I will pay whatever you require for this reengineering" Perhaps he was opening himself up to exploitation but he didn't care his son mattered more than his money at present.

[member="Tmoxin Temi"] excused herself promising to return soon, Lucien could only nod. whilst she was gone Lucien turned his attention to his son. "Are you ok?" He whispered to his son as he rubbed his shoulders, he was making an extra effort to be tender to his son, he had devoted time to others for so long and they had done nothing for him, his son had been solid throughout and lucien had done wrong by him . Tmoxin might not be judging him but It didn't matter he judged himself and he was a harsh critic. The doctor returned a short time later and indicated for them to follow her to see the researchers Lucien nodded and moved to walk alongside her.

Kaminoans were renowned throughout the galaxy for their scientific ability. Indeed it was they who created the clone armies of old, They were a terrible force in their own way subtle but deadly. Lucien could see why Tmoxin would trust them though. Having stated her preference she instructed Lucien to continue discussing himself. She was direct almost to the point of rudeness but Lucien supposed he could respect that. "Me and My son arrived in Union space only a short time ago, I used to be a key player in fringe politics but that went sour sometime ago and soon after the confederation collapsed." Lucien liked to think it was because the high council had turned on him but in truth the fringe had been a lame beast for years "I had done business with Marek before so it seemed only natural to come here, he assisted me in setting up as an investor lender" The continued on this place was awfully stark ... it was rather unnerving in truth but non the less he continued "I'm still settling in but I plan to assist the foreman in centralising the trade of company stocks within the union which should prove a highly profitable project for me and any publicly traded company" A central system would be so much more efficient than the present one.

Darien continued to distract himself with the rain watching as droplets raced down the windows but in the corner of his eye the scientist they had come to see walked into her office. Then his father spoke to him, he was rubbing his shoulders almost as if trying to atone for 9 years of distance. Darien smiled and closed his eyes savouring the contact while it lasted. Father was still distant when others were around "Of course Papa ... erm I mean father ... It's gonna be an adventure" He looked around to his dad "Are you?" He added. His farther nodded. It seemed they had connected more in the past two days than they had the entire time they had lived together.

The lady soon came back though and they set off to look at the facility. His father and [member="Tmoxin Temi"] started talking business so Darien zoned out again. Transfixed by Kamino and it's scientists. Darien had never seen a place like this before ... It was frankly very exciting. He had an urge to press his face against the glass corridor and oggle the sights below ... but that would be childish and he wasn't a child anymore ... He would be soon though , he could be childish then. For now though he had to restrain himself. He began to wonder what was involved in this age reversal he had avoided asking worried it might put him off the idea ... but curiousity had overtaken concern now "Miss Temi ... what will happen to reduce my age does it hurt?" He said after marshalling the necessary courage

[member="Orick T'ane"]

Tmoxin did not know much, if anything, about the fringe, but listened along to Mr. Cordel recounting his background just the same. Something in her face sparked at the mention of Marek Starchaser. He would suddenly see her eyes become more focused on what he was saying at the mention of the Brightstar CEO.

"I would be interested in making the Morpho a publicly traded company," she said, after there was a pause in the conversation. "Perhaps that's something you can help me with."

When Lucien's son asked if the treatment hurt, she said to him in a gentler voice, "You will be in statis the entire time. There may be some residual pain afterwards, which is what our test subjects have reported. But the Morpho has painkillers for any discomfort."

The three of them eventually made their way to one of the laboratories where Morpho researchers, both Kaminoan and human were huddled at a table. "This is Lucien Cordel and his son," the Hapan introduced. "He is going to help fund this next phase of the Age-Renewal Treatment Chamber." A few murmurs of appreciation and welcome were given to the businessman. Tmoxin glanced at Darien who appeared quiet and nervous. She didn't quite blame him. Even the Morpho CEO herself had not been inside the treatment chamber. Until more of the side effects were minimized, the Hapan was not in any hurry to lay in there while needles with alien cells pierced into her face. One would not be aware of it, being in statis but still. Her brother who designed it, for all of his altruistic virtue, had quite a mad scientist streak.

After a discussion of what was needed to advance the technology, the lead researcher finally said, "Trandoshans, Miss Temi. If we can obtain the stem cells of this alien we can add it to the regenerative cell treatment that is already in place. Furthermore we'll experiment with more gene therapies, applied at the molecular level to halt the damage to the body caused by aging."

"I see," she said. A message beeped up on her datapad, letting her know she had an incoming holomessage. She pressed END on the call but instead typed a message to Orick T'ane, not wanting to interrupt this interesting dialogue about bio-technology.

//incoming transmission...
To: Orick T'ane
From: The Black Moth
I need you to go to Trandosha and pick up juvenille Trandoshan stem cells. A couple large boxes of them. They will probably be available on the black market. If you can find them in the Coruscant Underworld, that may also work but make sure you inspect the packages before you bring them back. I don't want to be swindled as these are very expensive. The credits will be wired to your account.
//transmission ending...

Tmoxin looked back up at the researchers, then back to Mr. Cordel and his son.

"Now where were we?"

[member="Orick T'ane"] [member="Lucien Cordel"] [member="Darien Cordel"]

Orick sighed as the call was cut off, why would she call him and then refuse his call. He shook his head and was about to go back to bed when the message came through. His sigh was loud enough to be heard through tout the small apartment, Trandoshan stem cells. He could get them easily enough, if easy was flying into a dangerous shadowport and not getting killed. He ran his hand through his hair as he walked over to his small dresser. He grabbed a shirt and turned back to the holoprojector. He tapped a few numbers into the pad and he went to get a drink.

Before he could even return the holo was beeping at him again.With a beer bottle in hand he returned to the projector and tapped the button, the screen filled with the face of an ugly weequay, " T'ane...what is it that you want this time." The voice boomed through the speakers.

Orick put on his thousand watt smile and took a sip from the bottle, " Ruggo, it's nice to see you too. I have a client looking for something that I think you are supremely qualified to handle. I need a couple of boxes of stem cells from Trandoshans. I know that you're the best in the business when it comes to body parts, you know who has stem cells." He smirked a bit at the end.

The face on the screen frowned a bit and then smiled brightly in return. " Stem cells.. Yes, I can help you out there, but it will cost you. Let's call it 30 thousand a box, and I'm losing out on this deal."

Orick threw up his hands and sighed again," You're kidding me Ruggo, I thought we were friends."

" We are not friends, we are business associates, nothing more and the price may change again if you don't get here soon. Stem cells from a trandoshan are rare indeed." the weequay kept his smile on his face as he replied.

Orick shook his head and shrugged, " Fine, no problem. I'll be at your club soon, have the stuff ready to go when I get there. I am on a schedule and my client won't be happy if I keep them waiting too long."

The weequay sat back in his chair and waved his hand dismissively, " Your client should have hired a better smuggler. You have 2 days T'ane, after that I cannot guarantee anything." With that the transmission ended and he was alone in the quiet room. With purpose he moved to collect his gear to get to Attahox as soon as possible.

[member="Tmoxin Temi"] | [member="Lucien Cordel"]

Lucien smirked as at [member="Tmoxin Temi"] as her eyes brightened, was it lust or hatred that caused that reaction. either way it was interesting, very interesting.

Tmoxin wanted to go public, that was certainly something he could help with, the opportunity to bring a company of this type promised to be quite profitable and if he had learnt one thing he in the short time he'd been in the faction , cash was king. He didn't have time to answer with more than a quick yes before the topic shifted. That was another thing he'd noted talk moved fast here.

His son had expressed concern on whether the procedure hurt. He squeezed his son's shoulder as Tmoxin reassured him. She was being very nice about it but Lucien felt she was holding something back. He felt safe leaving his son in her hands, he supposed the best doctors hid the painful details of medical procedure to prevent stress. His son seemed a little happier and that was all that mattered. They entered a laboratory and Tmoxin introduced them to the scientists at work he could only assume they were the lead scientists, they certainly sounded like smart people.

Most of what they were saying went straight over lucien's head so he just tried to look like he was listening whilst stock options swam in his head. He was brought back to reality by Tmoxin speaking again "We were discussing the potential for trading shares in your company, I can see a lot of potential in such a move ... shares in a dynamic market like this will be quite costly meaning plenty of money for you and ofcourse me"

Darien breathed a sigh of relief when [member="Tmoxin Temi"] explained that he would suffer only small discomfort. That made him feel alittle better he was still nervous but that was to be expected. He stayed close to his father as they moved into the lab. people made him uncomfortable. The scientist took them to meet other scientists he nuzzled against his father. the contact made him feel safer, he tried to listen to what the scientists were saying but the conversation was confusing and hard to follow. It was all too technical for him his dad seemed confused as well, at least it wasn't only him. Non the less the whole conversation was quite exciting, it hadn't escaped him that he was seeing something very few people got to see. Before long his father started talking business again, which was rather boring in truth.

“Absolutely,” agreed Tmoxin. Although she wasn’t sure how to even begin to offer stock shares in the Morpho. She would need shareholders and then the company would split up the stock and go public with it. Or was it the other way around? While she had always been around wealth and luxury, the Hapan wasn’t a financial analyst. “This is where I need your expertise, Mr. Cordel. To help guide our burgeoning Morpho through this process.”

Tmoxin motioned for them to sit down and watch the scientists at work if they wished. Once they all settled at a table, out of the way from where the actual work was going on, the CEO said, “Tell me a little about this stock market that you are leading up. Does it encompass the entire galaxy or is it just reserved for the Southern Systems?”

A young female assistant came walking into the laboratory. “Oh Beulah there you are,” said Tmoxin before Lucien could answer. Her secretary was young, blonde human and pretty as were most of the more visible staff were at the pharmaceutical company. “Mr. Cordel and Darien, would you like anything to eat or drink? Beulah can go get you something if you wish.”

Attahox, Hocatar sector
Ruggo's shadowport

The Aimless Ranger settled into the small docking bay with ease, the ship was in the best condition it had been in in a long time. Orick had pushed almost all of his credits at the time into making it something more than it was. He took one look outside of the cockpit and he knew that he would regret this decision in the long run. Ruggo was waiting for him, as well as what looked like his entire court of psychophants and as many hangers on as could possibly fit into the hanger. What he didn't see were crates of cargo, which made him wonder if this was going to be a fight or not.

He walked over to the cargo bay and slapped the doors open, he couldn't help but smile as the 10 battle droids and the two exemplar droids marched off the ship before he stepped off behind them.

" T'ane, what's the meaning of this, you bring droids into my house? " Ruggo spewed, with a look of shock across his rugged face. Many of his body guards brought up their weapons and more than a few of the wandering circus that surrounded him found some place else to be.

" Ruggo, I just want the crates. I have your credits right here." Orick said as he held up a small box. " I'm on a deadline and I just want to keep going onto my next stop."

The weequay laughed and clapped slightly, "Oh T'ane, you always act so high minded around us. Like you are too good for us, do we embarrass you?" His lead tilted and the smile disappeared. " You are a criminal just like the rest of us, the only difference is that I do not pretend to be anything else. Oh yes, I know all about your ship repair business, pretending to fix ships so that you can be a respectable citizen of the galaxy. The only reason your are not broke is because you have become a lapdog to those corporate Union types. Fighting their wars for them, getting by on the scraps they throw your way." He stopped and shook his head. "Perhaps when they get tired of you, you will come crawling back to us again, a respectable criminal again. Until then, take your crates and do not come back. The next time you contact me, I will not be so pleasant."

Without another world the crime lord and his entire retinue turned and walked out of the docking pay, leaving only Orick and his droids, along with two small crates.

With a sigh he walked over to the crates and opened them one at a time. inside were several vials of greenish liquid. He wasn't a scientist, but the flimiplast inside of the crates matched perfectly to what he was expecting. " Take the crates and secure them in the cargo hold. Once everything is secure we're leaving." He said without stopping as he turned back to the ship.

Lucien smiled "Of course , I have every intention of getting principle access to this pie of yours so I'll be here start to finish" Lucien stood to make a whole lot of money and he wasn't letting anyone else muscle in till he had a nice big slice. The whole process was relatively simple so long as [member="Tmoxin Temi"] didn't have any skeletons in the closet ... like that her cell supplier was a crime lord ... but lucien was confident nothing like that would surface.

Lucien was glad to sit down ... until he realised being glad to sit down meant he was getting old, he supposed he was in the right place for that though. None the less he took up the offered seat, Then one of Tmoxin's assistants walked in, she like all the others in the company were young and polished. Lucien could understand the need for a polished image, he accepted the offered refreshment "A cup of tea for me please" He replied , offering the Assistant a smile "Thankyou"

Then he returned to the stock market his new project, It was proving to be quite an extensive task. " I hope to go galexy wide soon but for now the south systems will have to do, trying to centralise things is harder than one would think" The current system was massively fragmented and there was no real 'directory' for share prices or indeed a single place were companies could declare themselves as publicly traded.

Darien took a seat beside his farther and watched the scientists, they were more interesting than all this talk of investment and money. he was drawn back to awareness for a brief moment by the offer of drinks and food. He smiled "I'll just take a mineral water please and biscuits if you've got them , thank you" He mumbled. everywhere he looked were attractive women but they didn't really interest him, they were just people and people, ugly or attractive, scared him.

Then he went back to watching the scientists whilst his dad talked business again. He was astounded by how smart these people were , he couldn't do it it looked confusing. His mind drifted off to the woman he had met on Doldur ... or whatever it was called, the art collector. He bet he could do that. Art spoke to him he could understand it and it was safe. He hoped he would see her again. she might be convinced to let him help. His farther was always pushing him to think of his future art collecting was a good future he needed to make friends with a few artists now ... that might take some effort though.

Along with an expensive designer wardrobe, Tmoxin did have quite a few skeletons in her closet, and the supplier of cells was probably the least egregious of them. But luckily most of the loose ends from her previous life as a racketeer had been neatly tied. Still, when a company went public, it was under much more scrutiny than if it were private. Sensitive information may leak out. Aside from one small detail, the Morpho was relatively clean. However that small detail just happened to be the Age-Renewal Treatment Chamber. Before her pharmaceuticals company went public, Tmoxin would need to make sure that she had an air-tight story about its origins and the creators of the technology. Obviously omitting that it was built off of a black-market patent from Coruscant and stolen from her brother's own clinic.

Her assistant Beulah went off to fulfill the orders from Lucien and his son. Tmoxin looked at Darien, who appeared very much out of place - probably bored - and said, "You can wander around if you like, my dear." He looked like the type who wouldn't get into trouble, although she wouldn't want him sampling the products. Maybe when Beulah came back, she would put the girl on son-sitting duty.

As the researchers continued to brainstorm, pulling up 3-D holomodels and virtual whiteboards, the Hapan CEO asked Mr. Cordel: "I do much of my business in the Southern Systems. How do you suggest I get started?"

[member="Lucien Cordel"] [member="Darien Cordel"] [member="Orick T'ane"]

It was a good job Lucien didn't know about these skeletons, he tended to get hung up on illegal things and knowledge of the chambers origin might put him off investing ... then again he was desperate so he would probably look the other way this time. He would of course be their to guide [member="Tmoxin Temi"] through any hiccups that should arise, he might not like it but sometimes one needed to do things that were unpleasant and somewhere deep down Lucien could empathise with acting improperly to further themselves , he had murdered his own parents in adherence to the age old cliche. They could work out a back story together later down the line after all the truth was subjective all it took was a little creativity and anything could be true.

Lucien nodded when Darien turned to him, Darien would be far happier not sat around. He smiled once Darien was out of sight "He's a good kid, He won't do anything I'm certain"

Lucien thought for a moment "To begin you need to lay a strong foundation if you're going to go public, If you want my help I'm going to need to know every weak link and every secret so we can ensure they don't become an issue ... I don't want to know yet though, tell me when we are concluded here then once that's done you need to release a set amount of shares to the market I recommend starting small that will keep the price high" He inclined his head "Make sure your products are watertight no deaths, no major side effects ... no lawsuits" even the smallest issues could kill off a company on the share market

" Thank you Miss Temi" He replied trying not to sound overly excited, He turned to his father just to make sure he wasn't going to commit a colossal faux pas. It seemed he wasn't, so he saw no reason not to go after all he couldn't really add to the conversation he didn't understand business or medicine.

Now where should he go, he didn't want to get lost in the facility, He supposed he could have gone rooting around in the off limits areas. It was what most people his age would do but it seemed wrong to Darien. That and it would reflect poorly on his father and his dad would probably kill him ... litrally kill him. So he kept to his best behavior. He eventually ended up at the front door just as [member="Orick T'ane"] arrived. The guy seemed slightly rugged, he'd never been this close to a non-high society player who wasn't employed by his father or another rich person . He didn't know wether to be scared or excited. He was tempted to talk to Orick but he didn't want to get stabbed or appear like a creep. so he opted before the less creepy option of just watching the rain.

A guard came past him it seemed this guy was either a trespasser or a secret employee either way it was exciting. A guard came past it seemed tmoxin was about to come this way anyway, perhaps that meant they were starting soon, for now he would stay near the wall and avoid notice he was only just getting comfortable with [member="Tmoxin Temi"] talking to another person today was too much.
