He meant to reply to both Aayaith and Nine but Madalena announced that they would begin, laying out the simplistic rules to the four - five - participants present. The fifth being a Tusken being that he'd never seen or interacted with before today. Lovely, another unknown factor to add to the situation.

However, he welcomed the uneven odds in the team bout. It would be fun to go toe to toe with three opponents instead of two. This would make for great practice. Often, he found himself surrounded by multiple enemies in real combat. Sure, he could handle them perfectly fine. Cordialis was a prime example of that, before he went over to Dianah. But, even as he slashed through the Jedi there, he was sloppy and a bit unrefined. Perhaps, in a team setting, he would improve and show progress.

His grey eyes stared at their opponents, watching Nine out of the corner of his eye. He was willing to wait their adversaries out, allow them to make the first move. For a moment, he stood still.

Then, his weight shifted and he began stepping slowly to the right, circling the three with Amnesia held to the left of him. He allowed himself some measure of relaxation, opening up to the Force and letting it leak from his body. A twisted and oddly mirthful smile dancing across his delicate facial features.

Until either their opposition or his partner moved in, he was content to wait, plan, watch, and analyze.

The Mother of All Psy-Pires
The Lovely Nine was no fool. Two against one was still outnumbered. But fortunately one thing was in her favor and that of @Kyrinov.

A melee with that many fighters ran the risk of becoming very crowded. The trick was to make three a crowd, because, after all, two was just company. Nine decided she would take the initiative and strike first, she let off a stream of lightning-like psychic bolts a [member="Kurenai Yumi"]. They did no harm, but they would cause nausea, loss of equilibrium and muscles to lock up as she dashed forward, swiping with the unsharpened back edge at [member="Aayaith Siosa"], so as not to hurt her too much or risk killing her--Hundred Handed Giant was an evil sword, which drank blood greedily. At least it was evil to Nine. The best defense when outnumbered was a good offense, and to make any third man a liability instead of an asset. Nine was not too sure how @A'Runda would react but she was banking on her partner isolating the tusken. She briefly wondered where [member="Scherezade deWinter"]--or rather, Madalena stood in this training. Was she an agent of the Mimes? Could she steal thoughts? Should she ask? No, that'd be a bad idea. Besides, she'd been hunting Mimes recently for feeding on all relevant dinner memories and they knew nothing about deWinter. But Mimes were a cunning and fickle beast. She hated how they could pretend to be trapped in boxes. What the hell was wrong with a cardboard box like normal people used to pretend to be trapped in?

Nothing, certainly.

Equipment: Lightsaber, Gaffi Stick

After [member=Scherezade deWinter] acknowledged him, he straightened up from leaning against the wall. Finding it odd that she called him "New person", and not "Sand Muncher" like their previous encounter. By now he had a better idea of how culturally insensitive that nick name was. At first he thought it was a mistranslated. Nonetheless he just figured she'd forgotten who he was. While he absolutely could not have with the image of a gutted Hutt being puppeteered.

Either way she told him which side to join and he did so. Considering how this was a training exercise he unholstered his gaffi stick and got on the side of his allies. A'Runda figured a blunt weapon like his stick would be more appropriate then a lightsaber. Plus he imagined that his sparring partners weren't familiar with "Tusken Martial Arts". Holding it like one would a baseball bat, with the curved end farther from him and the more pointed end closer to his hands.

As he backed away from [member="Nine Lives"] assault on his partners he fixed his attention on the patient @Kyrinov. Facing them, he readied his gaffi stick, turning his body before his swing. With a loud outburst A'Runda shouted. "Arghuu-Ah-Ah!" The Tusken exclaimed before taking a powerful swing at his target. The stick was positioned so that the curve was facing away from his target. To lessen the effect of any impact, even though it'd hurt to be on the receiving end of a strike, it wouldn't be nearly as impactful. Regardless of they dodge the blow or not. The force and determination behind it would leave him very much of balance if he missed.

Madalena sighed as she looked at the trainees. They were either split between looking, or working on their own. In other words, there was very little (or rather, absolutely no) teamwork happening.

Grabbing a lighter from her pocket, she ignited it, mumbling a few words under her breath before the arrows began to form from that small lick, and sent them over to all five. The arrows, with such a small source, wouldn’t actually burn or harm any of them. But there were enough of them coming on quickly to be warmly annoying.

“Teamwork, people!” she shouted as she motioned for those who were not yet fighting to do something, “you don’t need the KO to work alone! Work together!”

Kurenai kept her head faced towards Ni Ne as [member="Aayaith Siosa"] made her comment on combat, "too much, far too much", she replied, hand reaching for the weapon on her back as she locked eyes with other Atrisian woman. As the swipe came from [member="Nine Lives"] brought her blade out from bheind, intercepting the strike, trying to slide the other blunt weapon it into a small blade lock. "Try for an attack now Aaya" she said quickly, aiming to have the Miralukan capitulate on the current two on one fight, trying to put the whole team work thing into action, even with [member="Scherezade deWinter"] on the side barking at them.

Such was a small problem when you paired to introvert types together, no matter how much the two trained she doubted Ni Ne would ever team up with someone, as for [member="Kyrinov"]? He just seemed like your average brooding Sith, once again an aspect that did not go well with team work. The Sith were all about power and getting better then your comrades, not so much helping them, a problem that always caused them to stagnate and lead to infighting once their empires got to big. For the moment though she had to rely on [member="A'Runda"] to keep said Sith busy while the two ganged up on Ni Ne, then they could turn around and help the Tusken out.

It Begins..
Aayaith saw everything, each attack and each movement, the force guided her as she embraced it. She ignited her lightsaber as multiple attacks were coming from different directions. She heard the instructor, Madalena, barking at the side of the room, soon to sense something moving swiftly towards her, what seemed like an arrow.. Remaining calm she narrowly dodged this hurling flame, feeling that it had burnt through her cloak. Aayaith threw her cloak off, rather elegantly, as [member="Nine Lives"] launched an attack on her and [member="Kurenai Yumi"] . Kurenai, blocking Ni Ne's attack, opened an offensive opportunity for Aayaith to attack, unable to launch an attack without causing serious injury, as her training taught her, she decided the best course of action was to Force Push her back a bit so an appropriate offensive may be launched and Aayaith would be prepared to fight properly, provided [member="Scherezade deWinter"] stopped launching fire at her.

Aayaith grinned, waiting for Ni Ne to begin her attack again, so she may fight alongside her teammates appropriately and efficiently...

(OOC: What lightsaber forms are people using? ^-^ Aayaith is using Form II)

Nine Lives, right in the middle of her attack, which was intercepted by the blade of [member="Kurenai Yumi"], was forced to break off even further after [member="Scherezade deWinter"] sent tiny little flaming arrows over her head, and that second's distraction cost her, as she was hit by a minor Force Push from [member="Aayaith Siosa"], knocking the wind out of her. She thought it might have been the Mimes or at least those damn living snowmen trying to sell her disaster insurance, but know it was just Madalena, doing one of the tricks she had used in their Beverage Kombat, where she had attained a flawless victory in what had to be the shortest battle Nine had ever fought. Her knights, Vera, Magnus, and even Meier had been laughing at her over it. She had laughed too, admitted her near instant defeat had been hilarious. Because it was.

Breaking away and getting back close to [member="Kyrinov"] she sent him a small telepathic message. She rarely did this, but she didn't want the others to catch on to any tactic.

Pardon me, Kyrinov. I don't 'do' telepathy normally, but how do you think we should proceed? Nine asked mentally.

OOC: Sorry for the delay!

Missing his target, A'Runda's body swung to the side from the force he put behind his attack. Quickly trying to recover, he clumsily stepped back to the rest of his small group Who were teaming up on [member="Nine Lives"]. Keeping his rear to his team mates he remained facing [member="Kyrinov"], Gaffi stick at the ready.

Soon after he spoke to his team. "I got this guy, just be quick with your target." He said, hoping they could make quick work of Nine Lives so they could all shift their attention to his designated opponent. Finally seeing the Kyrinov was holding a vibrosword, one of A'Runda's hands flicked away from his weapon and went to his side. Following was his curved light saber flying into his palm. He'd hate to damage his gaffi stick to something that couldn't block it.

Now he was dual wielding his two weapons as he ignited his white light saber. Taking a defensive stance he wait for his opponents patients to come to an end.

With [member="Nine Lives"] being pushed back Kurenai attempted to press the attack, not to give her time to regroup with her companion and make a stand. The small annoyances sent by 'Madeline' were of no real concern, a small force bubble focused behind her being all that was needed to stop the projectile from hitting her in the back. [member="A'Runda"] seemed to be taking care of his opponent fairly well, more just holding him off until the pair knocked [member="Nine Lives"] out of the fight, the old divide and conquer.

His opponent held a regular looking vibro blade though she could never be to certain about it's abilities, so many weapons had modifications these days. Sprinting forwards Kurenai swung the blunt end of her weapon in a wide arc towards, not so much caring if she blocked or dogged, with the force behind it just getting hit would hurt. Hopefully [member="Aayaith Siosa"] would follow up or begin her own attack on the older women and drive her even further away from their current partner.
