UK Votes To Leave the European Union

But for real, leaving the EU was the most stupidest neo nazi move ever. Do you know what will happen after they leave the EU?

Legalization of genocide against Muslims
Non white Brits will suffer the same fate.
Then soon, we'll hear Horst-Wessel Lied play in London

Rip UK.

Remember Norway and Switzerland are not part of the EU now. I don't see either of those countries going down in flames anytime soon.
There is a difference. Norway and Switzerland have never been EU members, but UK has for a long time. The former two have never had to deal with leaving such an organization and the consequences it brings, but UK will have to. That will cause a lot of drama and difficulties for the country.

If these sorts of comments carry on then I'll request the thread locked. Why did I think I could post this and have civil reflections on this event rather than near racist and offensive comments about a nation that I and others belong to.

Can we try keep views realistic and dare I say mature as not to offend anyone? This country still means a lot to those in it, in or out of the EU, but as an Out voter I don't like to be tarred with a brush that means we are a step closer to stupid, racist and hurtful actions against anyone else .

Thanks.

EDIT: If Admin feel this is already heading for disaster sadly, feel free to close it down.

There is a very real chance that Scotland will attempt to stay in the EU and leave the UK again. I'm not how to take it.This will be a messy year for certain.

From what I can tell, the only way to know for sure what will happen next in an economic sense is to build a time machine and go check it out firsthand. Everyone agrees that the economy is going to suffer in the short term, since such things tend to be notoriously sensitive to change. Everything else is just a matter of whose propaganda you believe. The problem with modern economic theory is that you can find an expert to back just about nearly any point of view you want, complete with graphs and spreadsheets. The only way to know how their theories will play out in the long run is to let it happen.

As far as the social issues go, I dare not comment. My time spent in the UK amounts to a layover on the way to Egypt. Spent maybe two or three hours in an airport in Ireland, trying to figure out why I was paying so damn much for a pack of smokes.

[member="Eralam"] right on point there!

Honestly it will take several years for us to truly understand the impact of this [member="Chris Gelderd"]

Speculation and market fears will ebb hard for a little while and as the new PM takes charge of the situation.

Ideally we hope for the best of this decision by ya folk over across the atlantic, but over here in the states its going to be really interesting how this effects our economics with the EU as we ride the roller coaster of this choice.
