Hmm...wait, what if I can pilot a star-ship without rockets?
I mean...well, what if say I use solar sails? There are no boosters, just light reactive sails...or whatever causes light to push on them.
Say, did anyone ever see that little contraption that looks like a light bulb but isn't? I mean, well its in a light bulb housing but it has like tiny little black paddles that start moving in a vaccuum when light is presence.
I wonder how fast it can go. The solar space ship i mean. I could see it slowly inching forward my millimeters at first and slowly as the mass (that's the star-ship) gets moving , it gets faster and faster!
Of course, as the ship moves farther away from the light source (that be the star) that the force of light gets weaker.
But-
And there is a but of course. But since the star ship is travelling in a vacuum it should not loose speed, right?
Well, baring coming up on another star or hitting like space dust or some other cloud thingy...i don't know really.
But I'm sure there are some things out there in space besides...uhm empty space that will slow it down.
So..solar wind, being like air winds on a boat; i should be able to angle and cut the sails..or whatever the sailors do with sails, to direct my star-ship in space.
