Uncommon Complications

There was a clear sense of a tired silence in the room after she finished speaking. Ra now waited on the judgement of Ferron. Whatever his choice was would decide her fate, life or death. If she were to be turned over to Wolfe, her life was forfeit and she would die. There was no question in her mind on this. If he decided she was not guilty of the crime levied against her, then she would be free...at least for a time. Wolfe was like a terrier after prey. He would not give his quest to destroy her.

When the knock happened and Ferron motioned for her to wait a moment, Ra did just that. When he left her without saying anything, it raised some concern in her. It seemed he had made his decision which was enforced when the guards entered the room. In saying they would restrain her if she attempted to leave, her fate felt decided. If this situation had happened not long ago, she would have reacted differently. Ra had changed though.

She sat at the table calmly with her arms crossed, taking sips of that water when she was thirsty and setting the glass back down. Silence didn't reign forever though and voices were heard on the security chief's communicator. Not your everyday orders going back and forth, no this was conversation between Ferron and the Shrouded Republic's contact. A man she had never met personally, but Ra had not been in the military with them.

As the conversation continued her view on Ferron changed. He had indeed decided her fate, but it wasn't what she expected. Instead of planning on turning her over to the justice Wolfe desired, he placed her under his protection. He was right in saying death could come to them at any time, any given moment...even getting out of bed was dangerous.

The communication continued for another few minutes, but Ra remained seated. With the knowledge this room was the safest in the ship and the warning of restraint kept her in place. She wasn't afraid of the guards, Ra could have disposed of them easily enough. That was not and never was her nature though. To kill without a clear need, in what could be seen of as cold blood and murder...that was not the type of person Ra was.

One thing she did know was the laws of the Shrouded Republic were not the laws of the Galaxy. Ferron agreed with her on that and stood his ground against them. By doing that, he was just as much an enemy of Wolfe now. Another thing Ra realized was she was in debt to Ferron and she had no idea how to pay that back. Right now though, she stayed in that room surrounded by his guards and waited.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, CSA
Commenori Border Space, more or less in front of the approaching ships' trajectory.

"First officer, bring me up to speed." Captain Hans Stroburn as he entered the bridge. He returned the bridge staff's crisp salutes and then gave them leave to return to their duties. Hs felt a swell of pride as he made his way to his command seat. 45 minutes ago he had received orders to reach a rally-point on the border of Commenori space with all possible haste. Within moments of receiving this Priority 1 Command the crew leapt into action. A quick micro-jump facilitated by Commenor's system of hyperspace buoys brought Hans' ship to its present location. Hans and his crew served upon the "Yractis" a Tempus Class Star Frigate in service to the Commenori Navy that was named after the capital city of Gyndine.

"Sir we've just reached the rally-point and have been joined by the "Contigo", "Fire-Spitter", "Lacrimosa", "Sharpstone", and the "Attahox" Replied the First Officer, Pash Powen as he followed the captain across the bridge. "In addition we have two Firezone corvettes and five squadrons of Delta-class JV-9's were also scrambled."
"Thank you First Officer, you may return to your station." Said Hans as he slid into his command chair and brought up the long range scanner reports. Out of visual range a guest of the Queen had been intercepted by two imposing Adjudicator class star destroyers outside of Commenori space. This would usually be enough to warrant vigilant suirvillance of the system and perhaps put assets on stand-by, however the Queen's guests' vessel seemed to have thought better of an engagement and was burning fuel back towards Commenori space with Adjudicator star destroyers following behind. This had inevitably required a response from the Commenori Navy which had deployed this fast-action response force to the border.

Hans activated ship-to-ship communication and broadcasted to the nearby CSA ships. "This is Task-force captain Hans Stroburn. I would like to commend you on your response time, you do Commenor proud. Now to business, we have incoming warships with unknown intent. We are here to protect Commenori space and prevent a potential conflict from spilling into our space. Calling general quarters all hands, man your battle stations."

The bridge's lights shut off, replaced by red emergency lighting. Across the frigate you could hear the slamming of massive bulkheads and the hiss of crew areas becoming pressurized. Hans felt his heart beat faster as the warning claxon wailed in the background. It was a familiar sound, the sound of battle.
Across the rest of the fleet, shields were being energized, weapons being charged, and scanners were running information back to the ships to be shared over their battle-net.

As Ferons ship prepared to leave, it seemed the Shrouded Republic ships were not going to fire. The message from the Commodore was noted, but Ferron offered no response, nor did any comm officer or captain. However two messages came up from foreign identities, one requiring his immediate attention. The comm officer called to Captain Comsky and President Ferron, saying the Commenori border patrol had entered the area and were approaching.

"Shut down all engines, open a transmission with the approaching Commenori ships, hold the other ship until we figure out what's happening further."

Ferron had turned away from the comms but came back to prepare a response to the Commenori fleet. "Attention Commenori Fleet, this is President Troste of Kuat Drive Yards. We apologize for the attention we've brought to the edge of the CSA territory, what can we help you with?"

  • CNS War Child
    Adjudicator-class Star Destroyer, Deep Space

Things degenerated rapidly after the last exchange of messages between Ferron Troste and Tacitus' two star destroyers. The arrival of several new ships, prompted the War Child and Decisive Action to go to full combat alert. The commodore sighed, rubbing his face. "Commodore, one of the ships has been identified as affiliated with a member of the Dark Hand," reported one of the bridge droids. "The other ships are Commenori vessels."

Was Commenor in league with the Dark Hand? If so, that would be a betrayal of the trust that the ruler of the old Ancient Eye, Mythos, had placed in the Commenori queen. Regardless, the commodore was determined not to jump to conclusions, although he would settle the matter. "Attention, Commenori vessels. This is commodore Vilhelm Marek of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. We are currently engaged in an operation to apprehend a dangerous terrorist," the commodore spoke in his message to whoever was in charge of the Commenori ships, making sure to inform them that an attack on their ships here in international space, would be unlawful. "Since we are not within Commenori space, we ask that you do not interfere."

His warning delivered, it was time to deal with the Dark Hand ship. Marek may have been willing to let Troste go, but he would not extend the same courtesy to an armed vessel of the terrorist organization that had inflicted such harm upon his nation. So he sent another message, even as his ships switched their attention to Vulpesen's vessel. "Attention, Dark Hand ship. This is commodore Marek of the Shrouded Republic. Following your actions on Winter, your organization has been officially classified as a terrorist group by the authorities of my government. As a result, an international arrest warrant has been issued for all the members of your faction. Lower your shields and surrender immediately, otherwise we will open fire. Marek, out."

To emphasize the point, the War Child fired a warning shot in a diagonal direction from the Vixen's forward vector, the green turbolaser bolt flying past the enemy vessel's hull at a great enough distance to make it clear that this was indeed a warning and not an outright attack. Meanwhile, Marek's four squadrons of starfighters changed formation, ready to pounce on the Dark Hand ship at a moment's notice.

The ball was now within the Commenori hands. If they decided to interfere, the situation could escalate into further complications. Regardless of what happened here, the commodore would do his duty, knowing that his small flotilla's tactical droids were already relaying their reports home.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, CSA
Neutrality sometimes had a way of encumbering the decision-making process and Hans reflected that this was one of those times. If a split second calculation led to the determination that Commenor was under threat, Hans might be unable to act due to larger intergalactic political implictions. It was in a moment like this that he was as much the representative of Commenor as anyone. He had been in the Commenori Navy all his life and believed in the ideals of peace, freedom and prosperity. He was well versed in the responsibility the CSA had to its citizens to maintain peace, to let them enjoy life without the fear of existential crises. Therefore Hans was determined to ensure that a flashpoint did not develop here.

Activating a transmission to both ships he replied, "Commodore, this is Captain Hans Stroburn. As a military man you know that we're always looking for an excuse to show the politicians we're doing something productive with the tax-payer's dollar. The presence of your warships and intercept path they charted necessitated a routine response. You may trust us to uphold the law and our neutrality and not interfere in your business within free space. However we mean to see that your business does not explode into our space. To you Mr. President, you may help by filing a petition for temporary asylum in triplicate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or appeal to her Majesty Lady Kay or you may turn your ship around and make for a hyperspace lane."

Lawful neutral, thats what the CSA was. Sometimes Hans felt bad about situations like these, sometimes he would create hypotheticals like what he'd do if it were a transport full of slaves that he would have to turn away. Fortunately he had never had to face that moral quagmire.

"Sir, another ship just dropped out of space and the Commodore's Star Destroyers are moving to engage." Said a Twi-lek crewer.

"Now what?" Replied Hans irritably as the new ship appeared on their scopes. "Get me a reading of that ships transponder codes, who do they fly for?"

Vulpesen rose a brow as his ship was hailed and [member="Darth Tacitus"]' message came through. He'd seen some amazing things in the galaxy, but to this day, there were still some things that truly boggled his mind. Being called a terrorist by a sith was one of them. Vulpesen was starting to think that this man was out of his mind, an assumption not aided by the itty bitty red flash that appeared in the distance beyond his view port. "Was that..."

"A warning shot sir... I think." His pilot looked behind him at the Valde, an equally confused look on his face. A shot like that might have wreaked havoc on the Vixen. But between the Vixen and the source of that shot was a rather sizeable frigate that made for a very nice very wide shield.

"Alrighty then." Reaching over, Vulpesen clicked on his comms and started to speak to the commodore. "I'm sorry sir, but if your government has declared me a terrorist, then your people are in dire straights due to their ineptitude. You see, a terrorist, by definition manipulates people and governments through terroristic actions, which is to say, actions which are used to inspire terror. My people act to defend the Life, Freedom, and Unity of the Galaxy. But I suppose a terrorist can have those motives, so let me make the real distinction. Terrorist don't differentiate between civilian and military. A civilian is only an enemy without a gun. They bomb cities, poison supplies, and rip asunder any structure they can find so that people cower under them. Sound Familiar?" The last part of his speech was filled with a particular venom as he gazed into the holoterminal. "What my men do, is find people that threaten the innocents of the galaxy, and we act to suppress them. We do in fact, have rules of engagement. So no, I'm not a terrorist. I'm a hostile foreign agent against a government which I perceive as being founded on TERRORISM!"

Memories were flooding into the Valde's head and his transmission went on as he spoke, loud enough so that every man in the commodore's bridge could hear. "I supported this rebellion, because in all my years, no matter where I stood, I never saw a jedi, valde, or vitae raze planet to get their point across. No Vitae ever held Togoria by the throat and ripped it out! No Vitae ever razed the beautiful fields of Amar! No Vitae KILLED ANY CIVILIAN IN THEIR WAY, BUT IT'S THE MODUS OPERANDI OF THE SITH! And for that reason sir, if we ever meet face to face, it will be my everlasting pleasure to show you just why and how I've supported causes against groups like your shrouded republic... groups that make themselves so friendly with people with the title Darth." He had been on Winter. He knew the dark side when it was near... and Winter had been full of its forces.

Escort Ships:

Silence fell over the deck of Adron's flagship. It wasn't like the type of silence that could be felt before a hardened campaign, it was not born from any lack or excess of emotion. No, this silence was natural, it stemmed from the metallic crew that walked the deck surrounding him. Battle Droids, pilot droids, mechanic droid. Almost everything aboard the ship was made of metal and oil, not flesh and blood. It was this silence that was causing Adron to rub his hands together, slowly, deliberately. The brief journey had left much for him to consider, he had heard the report issued from The Shrouded Republic just before they deployed to apprehend Ra'a'mah. Tacitus was ruthless, more so than he was, if Ra'a'mah was captured by The Shrouded Republic then she was not likely to see a fair trial....If she would see a trial. No, she would be crucified and allowed to become one with the nether of The Force, she would die.

"Minister." The Tactical Droid who had kept his company the entire flight finally spoke up.

"We are approaching our destination." The droid reported, causing Adron to lift his eyes to the wall of flashing lights that was Hyperspace. Sunburnt eyes fixed themselves on the display of lights while he stood from his seat. His anger at the situation was manifesting itself in The Dark Side of the Force and he allowed it to traverse his being. There was a deep hatred that Adron had for Kainan Wolfe and his "Shrouded Republic." It was an old one and today he knew he could settle it in one fell swoop. "I'm ending this feud."

Finally, the flowing illumination of Hyperspace was cut short, bringing Adron's Destroyer and it's accompaniment to the realm of real space. At first glance it appeared several other ships were sitting idle, perhaps awaiting on something? He did not know.

"Minister, I recommend we power up all weapons systems, in case of engagement." The Tactical Droid offered.

Shaking his head, Adron waved a hand at the droid dismissively. "No."

"But Sir, we-" An impatient glare was thrown to the droid, and even through it's optics the message transferred flawlessly. Shut up.

"Give me a closed network to The Shrouded Republic ships." He ordered, pointing to the comm station. As the holoscanner illuminated, Adron knew his holocall would be received by The Shrouded.

"Commodore Marek." He said, having already done his homework on the commanding officer tasked with Ra'a'mah's capture. "This is Minister Malvern. As The Shrouded Republic is a Member State of the Confederacy of Independent Systems you are acting within your right to deploy forces to apprehend a named criminal." There was a slight pause as Adron narrowed his eyes at the man, gauging his worth as an officer. Yet, the words to come from his lips next would likely shock a nation.

"As a Member State of The Confederacy you have the full support of my office. As does your Viceroy, Kainan Wolfe. I will not halt your apprehension of Ra'a'mah Numare, however I request you allow me to speak with her current hosts, on your behalf. Perhaps together, we can solve this problem." He said, before crossing his arms over his chest.

He would do it. He would betray Ra'a'mah to ensure peace would be brokered between himself and Darth Tacitus. In the end, one life was insignificant when compared to hundreds. Even the life of a friend.

Six ships dropped from hyperspace above the world of Comenor after getting the reports of a VIP had been captured. Her fleet was at Rendili at the time of the report as it was En route to Mandalore. Getting to this world was barely out the way and thus the Ancoran Royal fleet decided to intercept the message. Lights dimmed down as red strobe lights began to flash across the hole ship as Sanya stood aboard the Libita. Her arms was crossed as her tail flicked aggressively. "Prepare all weapons, direct shields to the bow and someone get me in contact with Vulpesen." She said giving her first orders.

Boots of her armor tapped loud with the white floor of the bridge as she walked to the Strategic table. "Vulpesen, do you read? The Ancoran fleet has entered space behind the enemy."

"Shields all directed to bow."
"Weapons ready."
"Fighters will be ready to launch in three minuets."
"Strategic map updated, all vessels have been marked."
The many voices was filling the room, each one with vital information that fed across a line like a well oiled machine. Even the slightest calculation could turn the tide in either way. Even as Sanya spoke she was able to take in every word with ease. Her eyes looked at the table and expanded the holograms as she took a seat in the commanders chair. She knew this situation could go in may directions.

"Once I begin bombardment that is your que to do what you need." She said with vigor. "Listen up. We are dealing with sith, like the old days. Since then our might has come along way... All of you are veteran pilots with skills moulded by each battle! Lets make them bite the bullets and show them which way to KARK THE HELL OFF!" Officers on the bridged all roared as she could feel their moral boost.

"Target the Engines of the outside star destroyer. Wait for my order to fire and now connect me with the CIS flag ship." She said with a grin. Her hand reached to the side taking hold of her full faced mask. "Sith scum a delight as always." Her words had become distorted almost sounding like that of a droid made to mimic a feminine voice. "The people you are after are under the Protection of the Royal Ancoran House. I'm sure you are aware of what that means. So I will leave this to your move. Act in aggression I will be left no choice to engage and if my fleet is made to retreat, which is highly unlikely. There is two worlds close by here who owe me favour's. I'm sure they'd be willing to amass their war fleets to send Sith running away from their worlds."

Each word held slight arrogance to it knowing that right this moment she held the upper hand. Their ships not only had to turn around one hundred and eighty degrees to ensure maximum firepower, but she had the Spinal Mounted Forward Fix Dual Heavy Long Ranged Mass Driver Cannon Battery already aimed at one of the star destroyers engines.

The force, it pulled at her, gnawed at her. She was setting at the table of her home and blinked. She rubbed at her forehead as she got a sinking feeling in her stomach, something wasn't right danger was near and she felt she needed to go into defense mode. However around the city all seemed...quiet. she tried to relax maybe it was just her being paranoid.

Then her comm beeped, she glanced to it, at first she ignored it but it went off again. Using the force she brought it over and put it to her ear.

master stardust, there is a situation near our borders, we have confirmed report of two fleets that have arrived.

She knew she should've trusted her instincts, quickly getting up and going to her room she looked at her armor...shining yet a dull paint and scratches all over the metal. She quickly locked it on as she rolled her shoulders as she put the comm back to her ear

I want a patrol to pick me up and we are heading the location immediately, have all general quarters man their battle stations.

She didnt even tell darben where she was heading, she was out the door and onto a speeder bike at full speed. She watched the space docks approach. There waited a drop ship with two knights standing ready. She was off her bike and quickly boarded as she took a seat

get us in the air now!

The pilot nodded, within minutes they were within space. Above the skys of commenor ships ready to defend it's people stayed ready while two destroyers aimed ready to make their jump to the border and stand guard. Stardust was brought aboard a Adjudicator-class Star Destroyer. Her feet carried her quickly to the command center as she looked outside of the ship into blackness of space. She looked to a comm officer and spoke

have all civilians and trade ships reroute from that sector immediately, put me on channel with all commenori forces

The bridge was alive, she looked to navigation now

set us a course for the area of conflict but do not pass our borders, we cannot risk being taken as hostiles

She got a yes maam and the two ships started their hyperdrive, stardust put her hands behind her back as she watched the star elongate then shoot past her view ports.within the hour both dropped from hyperspace and held right at the border

open a channel to any of our forces nearby

A comm officer worked quick, she was quickly patched in so [member="Rahn Haaku"] would hear

[/color] this is master stardust of the commenori knights. As of now I am taking command until the situation is diffused, all ships are to hold back in our borders. [/color]

Stardust tuned into the comms, listening around as she frowned...this situation wasnt good...stardust closed her eyed as she tried think and looked out the view port at the gathered ships

open comms to all gathered ships

Felt like old times for this vet, she crossed her arms while the comms officers worked to quickly get comms open. Once they were she spoke

this is master stardust of the commenori knights, I wish to have a explanation of the situation currently of why there is a standoff at the border of commenor system alliance space.

Reason for being here: Visit an old friend (got ok to join)
Ships in System: The Skyfall
Ships out of System: All of These

Solan relaxed as he leaned back in his chair and thought to himself how nice the stars were as they stretched into the familiar lines that made up hyperspace. He had had a nice day so far and was coming to Commenor to see an old friend, one [member="Lady Kay"]. Problem was, he didn't know about the standoff going on inside of the system and would soon find things... rather interesting. As per usual his fleets would have dropped out a short distance from the system into dark space, so that they would be nearby for quick use, but usually unnecessary in most cases. After all he was coming to see a friend and he figured she would be rather annoyed if his fleets appeared over her world when he could just come in his flagship.

The Shadow Fleet, as it was name usually operated under Republic Remnant IFFs for most official business, but now it flew the IFFs of Kesh. This was due to his taking the fleets from Republic space and not wanting nations to think the Republic was trying to invade them, as well as give a clear signature as to who's fleet this was. No other person flew Keshiri IFFs unless they were attempting to impersonate Solan, or were sent by him on errand runs, so this was unlikely to draw much confusion for CSA controllers who would see the IFFs and understand who they belonged to if questioned.

He figured Lady Kay could smooth out any military scare if necessary considering their friendship... well... their knowing eachother.

That was until he came out of space and red alarms were going off in his head immediately as he saw the showdown gathering. First there was the shot from the Shrouded Republic ships towards a small frigate and a... freighter? His eyes ran over each and his men started running the IFFs through the database. The Ships that he saw fire had been revealed to be Shrouded Republic ships, or rather CIS ones, both signatures having been obtained during his time with the CIS. Then there was the Frigate he saw, which he waited on the answer for. Lastly was the freighter who came up as a red alert for the officers. There were only a few people that had been given that position. One was [member="Aedan Miles"]' Corsairs, a group that Solan highly respected and trusted... and then there was an addition by a friend of his. A signature that had been slipped to him and been categorized as help at all cost.

"Alexandra, you witch... didn't think I would see this actually come up again." Solan said to himself, ordering his comms officer to put the fleets on standby, just in case.

He was about to speak again when another group of ships appeared, also carrying CIS IFFs, and then the CSA patrol fleet arrived, their affiliation a bit obvious. Solan wasn't quite sure what to do at this point, staring at the standoff from his command chair and ready to order his officers into red alert in preparation for needing to step in himself when another force appeared, cutting into realspace and bringing with them a mega carrier. At this point, Solan was unsurprised when another familiar and rather independent IFF showed up, knowing [member="Sanya Val Lerium"] had come to play.

With that he sighed and rubbed his temples, clearing his throat so that he could speak clearly as his soldiers put him on an open channel to all those in the area, including [member="Vulpesen"], Ra, [member="Adron Malvern"], Sanya, [member="Rahn Haaku"], [member="Ferron Troste"], [member="Darth Tacitus"], [member="Stardust Bloodstone"], and who ever else was listening. Solan didn't care.

"Ok play track... three. I think we need something a bit more cheerful." He waited to hear the familiar song, laughing abit to himself how used to his antics the officers on the bridge of his ship were. After all, playing a song over an open channel as a backdrop to him talking, that was something only one brand of crazy did, and that was the rather inept mind of Solan Charr, Prince of Shadows.

So he cleared his throat and spoke into the open channel, smiling like a madman at how this situation had become so strange.

"GOOOOOOD MORNING COMMENOR. This is your lovely host Solan Charr broadcasting out to these wonderful Spineless Republic, Confederacy, CSA, Catpeople, and Kuat Shipbuilders, who seem to have laid claim to this little area. My newest updates are telling me that a certain friend of mine is being fired upon and he kind of is important to someone who could blast me with a force light and kill me in a few seconds if I sat by and watched him die. Plus, I can feel the presence of a friend of mine, rather red haired maiden with great eyes and a wonderful mind... among other things... over on his ship. So I suggest those trying to apprehend the two individuals back off before I have to step on over and kick your spineless rear-ends back to Darth Metus. OH and when you get back to him, be sure to explain to him who sent you back with your tails between your legs, he will have a good old laugh. Oh and Spineless Republic fools, and your Confederacy Masters, I suggest you run my name through and you will find a rather extensive list of what I can call to my disposal... or you know, ask Isley and Aedan. I suggest you not though and just forget you saw the woman."

With that, he waited, letting the song play itself out before turning off his mic that had been running the message to everyone in the system.

"Captain Hans Stroburn," Ferron began as the transmission between them began, "it's good to meet you. However, I am an ally of the Commenor Systems Alliance, and friend of Lady Kay. I am only passing through Commenor territory to return home, I--" Ferron was interrupted as he saw a weapons fire erupt from one of the Shrouded Republics ships, seeing it outside the bridge viewport. He didn't stop the transmission, but stopped and turned to Captain Comsky, "Did that-- did he just--" turning back to his comms officer, now angry, "screw this. Public transmission, every frequency in range. Commodore Marek you will stand down. You will stand down or this is going to get bloody and no one I mean no one is going to be happy after this. I don't care if I'm on your wanted list or not. Those are Commenor ships, and it sounds like Ra'a'mah has some friends. I may not be a sizable threat to you right now but no one will walk home on both their legs, I don't--"

"President Troste, more ships jumping into the system," a nav officer spoke up, "there's too many, all their IFF codes are different. Sir, this is--"

"This is becoming a god damned party we didn't ask for. Captain Comsky, red alert, all hands to battle stations. We are not dealing with this." Ferron opened up a transmission with his personal comm to the Security Chief that was guarding Ra'a'mah. He padded the shoulder of the comms officer that meant to close all frequencies. "Captain, you tell our ships to cover us, we are not sitting here. I'll deal with CSA consequences later, the Queen will have to understand." The Captain nodded, and Ferron started walking to the Bridge door, raising his arm to speak into the private comms, "Security Chief Daniel, this is President Troste. This has become galactic scale and our ships are too far out, get Ra out of here." He swapped the channels on his commlink directly to the comm officer on the bridge, "Officer, send a General Distress to all KDY facilities. You tell them to get the reserves battle ready, we're about to be involved in a Galactic War." Ferron was headed to the Hangar Bay, hopefully he would meet up with Ra there and they can both leave. Damn, just when things were looking in his favor, he had no more weight to throw around. "I need another transmission," he knew it. It was the Confederacy. They were ticked off because he left a meeting, sent pirates after him. He wondered if he would be put on the threat list now. "Send a message to the smaller ship nearby, the VSF, the Blackhand, whatever it is. Tell them we're going into Commenor space. Now."

The Imperial Frigates engines roared as if pushed to the max from a deadstop. It prepared to move to a direction that no CSA or other ships were blocking, and it would jump to hyperspace when the all clear was given by Captain Comsky. The only reason Ferron did not order any self defensive return fire was because of the Commenors presence, trying to respect their presence. But now, they were be no more chances. "I'll deal with all this later," he said to himself, "right now I have to get her out of harms way. Then I'll answer to Queen Kay. Hopefully this doesn't spiral and I throw the Commenor Systems Alliance into a war."

Meanwhile, outside, the Mauriacus fired its own warning shot, directly between the two Adjudicators, clearly not intimidated by them, even knowing their strength and capabilities. The Gladiators moved into position to block any weapons fire from reaching the Frigate and all KDY fighters began moving swiftly around their parent ships, ready to dodge enemy fighters and intercept. The two Gladiator-class Star Destroyers and the Imperial Star Destroyers weapons began to charge, and the shields went up. Still, they did not fire unless the Shrouded Republic did. General Warning messages were sent to the Shrouded Republic ships by the Gladiators and the Star Destroyer, demanding they do not fire on the Frigate or the Vixen, or they would be fired upon. The transmission frequencies were cluttered now, since the Mauriacus had fired back their own warning shot, and the transmissions were full of general warnings, and other KDY ships were responding to the combat ready announcements. Hopefully, confusion through the mess wouldn't cause a fire.

"Master [member="Stardust Bloodstone"] , I happily relinquish command and don't you worry, we're about as close as I ever want to be. We're tracking multiple new warships converging on the initial point of contact. We eagerly await your arrival and shall continue to hold position behind our border. However the KDY exec ships seem to be burning carbon back to our space. The seas have gotten rough and their looking for safe harbor." Said Hans replying quickly to the priority transmission. He had never had the opportunity to see one of the intimidating Commenori Knights in action. He'd had to remember this to tell his kids when he got home... He wondered what the ramifications would be of granting sanctuary to the KDY president and his 'terrorist' compatriot who seemed to have been the cause of the increasingly escalating situation. Hans then resolved that these questions were waaaay above his pay grade.

As he considered their situation, the six Tempest class frigates broke into two groups. It was a fairly well known that the Tempest frigates' underbellies were poorly defended. To remedy this Commenori tacticians developed the "Tempest Circle" tm. This manuever entailed the Tempest frigates, with their traingular shapes, flying close and in-sync, each of the three bellies facing inward. This offered the frigates protection as their vulnerabel bellies were insulated by the Tempest Circle and their close proximity overlapped their shields. Much like voltron, they became more powerful when they worked together. Working in unison the Tempest Circle packed a significant punch.

As [member="Ferron Troste"]'s message come out, Vulpesen grinned and moved near the frigate, continuing to use them as cover. "Don't you just love happy endings? Alright boys, as soon as that frigates out, punch it!" All these ships were making him antsy to say the least. Vulpesen hated flying and space, and being inside a combustible tin can. Dying was one thing, but he really wanted to have an open casket funeral, and cremation wasn't in his post-mortem plans. All the Valde wanted now was to get Ra aboard the Vixen, make a stop in a safe system to check for tracking beacons, then get the hell back to Veradune where he could enjoy a nice long relaxing drink.

thank you captain, your performance will be noted and passed along I look forward to your celebration

Her crew was looking a bit nevours at the many war ships popping up, stardust stood strong and looked at her view port as she watched. She wouldn't lie to say she wasnt nervous her actions could determine whether a entire war broke out or if peace came through. Right now all she could do was watch, as she did she closed her eyes focusing on the force...she reached out feeling a signature she knew all to well...then cursed to herself as she opened her eyes...what was her sister doing in all of this?

captain, allow the president to pass and then remain here till this sector is clear of all ships presence. Comms get me a line towards the president asap

The comms officer nodded...the frequencys were beyond cluttered, stardust listened in as she gave a frown....she took a deep breath. This was beyond a mess, she watched as she saw a shot get fired and her heart sank...seemed to be a warning shot back towards the the other star destroyers...she wanted to act and get in there but she new she couldnt she had to remain on their borders lest they get mistaken as a act of war. Her comms officer yelled up at her that they managed to finally get a line and put her through

president troste...forgive me if that's the wrong last name...I am master stardust of the commenori knights, my crew has noted your course that you have set and given the situation I do not blame you at all. If what your projected course I have is correct I wish to escort your frigate and those with you into commenor space...however once there I wish to meet you face to face and get a full explanation of what's going on as I hear you have...a known terrorist aboard your ship?

She crossed her arms, whether they wanted it or not theyd get her as a escort. All the way through commenor space if she needed to...

Everything that was going on outside of the room Ra was being held in was lost on her. The only thing she could hear were the open communications that came across the security guard's radio. As various enemies and allies came out of hyperspace, she could feel the rise in tension from the people on Ferron's ship. Unknown to her, she had no clue exactly who had appeared, but it set the people on this ship on edge.

Ra might not naturally be an empathic person, a person would have to be Force Dead to not pick up on the sudden edge involved. Hearing the communication between Ferron and the guard, she did not hesitate in standing up. It was as clear as day to her, he had ordered her removal from his ship. Just how, she did not know. Her personal ship was still on Commenor, so that left various other methods of getting her away.

Already having a feeling of how he worked, Ra did not feel she was about to be spaced.

"Lead on, Security Chief Daniel. If I don't meet up with Ferron Troste again today, let him know I'll be in contact."

That was all she said and now waited for the security to lead her out of there.

Kay clenched her jaw as she saw the feeds coming in on her datapad while she sat in her office. What was going on out there? Patrols had come across a standoff just outside CSA territory, that was close to blowing up into something more.

Or was it?

Did she need to intervene? Or stay put? Her staff had told her to delegate more, so that was what she was doing. Although it was difficult. With her decision made, she typed out a message:

~Captain Hans Stroburn,

The is Queen Kay Arenais,

I trust that what is going on outside of our space will be dealt with before it can cause any issues. Wars are often started with misunderstandings and disrespect. Please make every effort to refrain from any escalation. Do not fire unless you are fired upon.

Queen Kay Arenais~
And now she waited for more information to come. Thank the Force their patrols were nearby.

The Frigate left the Scene, and it looked like the Shrouded Republic Ships had stood down. Just as before, they moved to Flank, and then backed down. Again, they made a move, and backed down. Entering Hyperspace, Captain Comsky took the ship to a good position, and kept in contact with the ships they had left behind. "President Troste..." Captain Comsky spoke up over the commlink, "we can sound the all clear. The Shrouded Republic ships have stood down, they are not firing and they are powering down weapons." Ferron was glad. He had risked a lot today, and not just his life. But his reputation, his company, and his people. "Good.... we can exit Hyperspace then. Send a message to the Commenori ships. Let them know our coordinates and that I am prepared to answer any questions they have." Ferron was on his way to the hangar, and he was running, but he had slowed down after hearing the message from Comsky. He chuckled slightly, taking a breath as he rested in the hallway, leaning against the wall next to one of the doors to the Hangar Bay.

Meanwhile, Security Chief Daniel had been leading [member="Ra'a'mah"] to the very same Hangar Bay. As small as the Frigate was, it only had the Hangar Bay exit on one side of the ship, so the entrance was on the opposite, and the only one. The combat ready alarms turned off, and Ra could tell they exited hyperspace.

"Attention all hands, attention all hands. This is Captain Comsky. The Shrouded Republic have backed down. We're in the process of calling our ships back to us, speaking to Commenor, and then heading home. We've won this day."

The few security crewman that were running alongside the President stopped to take a rest as well, but they watched the President who had been so out of breath, finally able to breathe after all that stress. He slid down, back against the wall. A knee stayed propped up and he rested his arm on it as he wiped his face from everything that just happened.

At the move of the guards, Ra fell into step with them. While they were on the way to the hanger, the alarms ended and the threat apparently had passed. She knew Wolfe though, this would not be the last encounter they had and he would continue to hound her.

Their pace slowed as they exited hyperspace and took on a far more casual progression. She walked looking forward and with some confidence. Ra might not be the one in power here, but she wasn't going to let her be seen as a weakling.

Hearing the communication they were speaking to Commenor, she hoped to be able to return there and collect her ship. After that, if asked, she would leave the area. She realized she was going to need a place to hide, at least for a while and knew just the person to speak to on this. Knowing this, she would leave CSA space until some time had passed and she could return home to Vjun.

While Ferron might be showing how stressed he felt, she kept her own buried. When they had spoken last, she had laid everything out for him in a gamble that paid off for her today. Knowing he was out for justice and doing what he thought was right, she knew they would also meet again. She owed him for this day and her life. However, she did not feel their meeting after today would go poorly. If he had decided she was guilty, that meeting would not take place and she would be dead. Wolfe would have seen to that himself.

Ra would only stop if the guards stopped. Their last order had been to get her off the ship.
