Uncommon Encounter

Yutan. It was a bustling city-world that was once the Capital to the Galactic Republic. Now it was a part of the Commenor Systems Alliance. Sovereign in it's own right, the Yutanni government had once tried to distance itself from the CSA in the early stages, brought on by corruption and greed. But that was dealt with in a way that Kay wasn't quite proud of, a secret known only to herself and a Sith Lord that she hadn't heard from in a very long time.

Today she wanted to check on things. And not in the manner of a stately visit either. Those types of visits tended to just portray falsehoods rather than what was really going on. So it was in disguise that she travelled, arriving in a common transport. All the other passengers on board were her own agents, her own security staff.

Once the transport had docked outside the city of Yarktu, Kay and the rest stepped outside, their eyes adjusting to the glare of the sun reflecting in the windows of the tall buildings ahead of them. Over time they meandered through the city streets, observing where they've been and where they were going, with no clear destination in mind.

That is until the unexpected happened. The group had wandered into a dead end street, intending on stopping at the market. When what they had thought were windows in the buildings were in fact mirrors that quickly turned and reflected the sun's light in their direction. All of them were blinded, covering their eyes from the glare. Kay's security pushed her into the center of them while they all face outwards in a circle around her.

Then the blaster bolts started firing.

Odhran walked around the streets of one of the major city on Yutan. He hadn't been here before, in fact, there was a few place he been to except for Corellia and the Sith Temple. The reason why he was here was for self-training he found some secluded places where he could focus his training within the force, whether or not it was working was another story. As of late, the voices were getting worse he couldn't keep them from talking and now he was questioning his alliance with the Sith.. no one else knew this and he wouldn't dare say anything to the masters for fear of what might happen.

No, this self-training wasn't only for training but mostly for him to figure out where he belonged in the galaxy. He took today to take a little break from the training and to explore the marketplace. His red eyes scan the stores and crates of items the natives had, a few of them tried to not look at him directly or tried there best to not show fear at Odhran appearance. It didn't surprise him one bit being a taller then average Shistavanen made people scared of him just by the way he looked.

All seem calm until Odhran thought he could hear something he stop for a moment and his ear twitched, he wasn't sure but thought he could hear blaster fire. Tilting his slightly in confusion he begin to make his way over to the noise, walking down few blocks he turns a corner and quickly shielded his eyes with his left arm, light from the mirror had all most blinded him. He could hear the blaster but wasn't sure who was firing them he grabbed his lightsaber a snap-hiss let the beast know that it was on. Taking a deep breath he let the force guide him into the fray of blaster fire.

Kay hated the feeling of being trapped. Yet with her security all around her, all that she could do was remain where she was. The blaster fire was all that they could hear besides the shouts of her security team. They needed to all get out of there but more importantly, they needed to see. Kay brought out her little holdout pistol, the Diplomat (in bio), and took aim at one of the mirrors. Within a second, the mirror shattered into thousands of pieces. One of her security guards followed suit and took out another one of the mirrors with a red hot blaster bolt.

Now they could see better. Their eyes adjusted themselves, spotting their assailants as they ducked into cover. And then there was [member="Odhran Schwarz"] coming into view with his lightsaber drawn. Was this all a set up made by him? He looked menacing enough. One of Kay's guards shouted out to him, "Halt! Who are you?! Step no closer!"

Yet before Odhran had even a chance to answer, more mirror/windows were turned in their direction, blinding them again with the sun. "SHOOT THEM ALL DOWN!!"
