There's nothing WRONG with doing it, I'm simply pointing out that you might not get as many people with that.
Maybe have separate matches for different genders, or a specific mixed-gender fight?

Yeah... you kinda were being sexist, intentionally or not.
Look, all we're saying is that it doesn't make sense, IC and in the Star Wars setting. The "original" fight club existed in a certain cultural context that is absent in this universe.

2nd RULE: You DO NOT talk about FIGHT CLUB.
3rd RULE: If someone says "stop" or goes limp, taps out the fight is over.
4th RULE: Only two guys to a fight.
5th RULE: One fight at a time.
6th RULE: No shirts, no shoes.
7th RULE: Fights will go on as long as they have to.
8th RULE: If this is your first night at FIGHT CLUB, you HAVE to fight.

I'm rather new here so I don't yet have the courage to throw my idea to the wind so I am here to gage interest. FIght Club has probably already been done or at least a variation of it, but still, who doesn't enjoy a good brawl. I would probably add maybe one more rule if it isn't obvious. No force powers. Just Fist vs. Fist. Guys only since it says no shirt.

For those of you who don't know Fight Club. It is a book and also a movie. I've seen the movie and it has a great plot. But for this RP plot we are focusing on the Underground brawling ring part of it.

There's actually a faction for this, the Galactic Battle Arena. The way the FA's set it up is that you can customize your brawls how you see fit, this meaning underground fighting is up for grabs as well.

^that didn't help the conversation at all except for turning almost everyone against me. I'd like to enjoy myself on this site but unfortunately I've yet to do so.

The reason why people got hostile is the way you went about saying it. Especially calling guys wussies if they get beaten up by a girl. You accidentally touched on a cultural and social problem (sexism) that has existed for countless millennium. Thankfully as a global society, we're getting through that, and most RP'ers are quite liberated in their train of thought, and sexism can be infuriating for some. Text doesn't always provide context, meaning and emotion, or in other times sarcasm, and so it is easy for one to think you may have been sexist.

I don't mind, although I can see why others may have been offended. If you want some arm candy, however, I'm free. I never really thought of how many women there were, though. I suppose I haven't realized that all of us seem to gravitate towards one another.

I can respect a request for men only, as there are also factions/groups geared solely to women. Just try to be a bit tender when you let us down like that, I, and probably others, may have looked forwards to playing with you.
