- Troop Transport: Carrying up to thirty Legionnaires and five speeder bikes, the UT-HRT can ferry a consider Imperial strike force across the battlefield and properly defend itself against external threats. A wide deployable ramp at the rear allows for the quick disembarkation of internal assets.
- Slow: The UT-HRT's size hinders its ability to move quickly over terrain, though it is capable of traversing nearly every environment imaginable thanks to the strong and stable repulsorlifts underneath the vehicle.
Further diversification in Sith-Imperial military technology led to the creation of newer and more elaborate vehicles, starships, and other military assets. One of the more recent productions was the Unstable-Terrain Heavy Repulsorlift Transport, which could ferry up to thirty Legionnaires and five accompanying speeder bikes across all manners of terrain.
A pair of powerful twin heavy laser cannons mounted in fixed positions on the front of the transport could obliterate most obstacles in its path, while a pair of swiveling quad laser cannons mounted on the port and starboard could handle anything that the transport passed by.
Lastly, the rear-mounted turret at the back covered the transport's fatal blind spot near the disembarkation ramp.
Though capable of being piloted by a single driver, the transport was at its most efficient when paired with two drivers, four gunners, and a commander to direct them and the troops in the holding bay.
