Up in here | Mandalorian Clans | Kashyyyk

Kachirho was taken, the Royal City secured. Kashyyyk was liberated by the Mando'ade once and for all. The fires of the battles were over, Grak the Mandalorian Gorax was led out into the forests where he was free to roam and play, and skip around, without team killing very many Mandalorians. For now he was just off in the woods with Sklor waiting to be taken back to his homestead with his little cousin and nap the whole trip.

While Kachirho was rebuilt and wounded tended to, the Royal City was bumping with the sound of music. And Victory. Sweet, sweet victory. The Mandalorians contained bonfires on the Forest Floor around the Royal City, music played loudly from helmet speakers and vehicles parked in clearings. Drinks flowed freely, Clans mingled, people danced, howled, fought, and rocked in celebration. Lights flashed wherever they were found, and merriment was easy to come by.

Draco was still tired, and the Force hadn't quite returned to him. Rianna's attention had him back on his feet, though he wasn't exactly with the mass of bodies howling around bonfires on the forest floor. The Wookiees, for the most part watched them from their homes, content to be free and not enslaved. Some joined in though, parties being infectious as they were.

Draco instead was oddly sober, not partaking in the drink that was flowing from massive barrels brought with the troopships. Continuing to hold Ice Cream cartons in a cooler and a jar of pickles. Mystically, he had been able to convince a shopkeeper to open for him in his dire need. He had overpaid, but there was no price tag affixed to a happy wife.

After the battle had ended and the enemy were pushed back, the Warlord had made the important Holocall and asked for Faith to join him on Kashyyyk where they could reunite and he could hand deliver her food to her.

No doubt the Mand'alor would have a roaring speech to give to the Mandalorian horde while the party was still in the building stages, before everyone was blind drunk and too distracted to listen.

She came clad in skins and furs. Her dark eyes like vibrant pools of liquid night as they shone in the light of one of the bonfires. The Iron-skin sky people they had bought this world with blood and so the Stromcallers, her sisters and she had seen fit to honor them with their presence.

She placed her spear against a rack of weapons and removed all but her small clothes before walking near the fire. She stopped close enough to feel the heat redden her skin. Within moments her sisters joined the circle and they began to sway and dance. They chanted in their dathomiri dialect as they danced a circle dance around the fire. They would thank the goddess even if these thick beings wouldn't and then they would find partners to consecrate the victory.

Of course, being deaf Sturgis found no enjoyment in music or dancing unless it was a Togruta dancer and was away from the bumping party in the trees. Instead, he sat on the beach, his trademark cowboy helmet and torso armor resting on the cool sand. The waves washed over his armor, filling it with salt water and sand. He exhaled a big column of smoke and looked at the injector in his right hand and smirked.

The needle punctured his skin. He could feel the rush of the downer. With a wide grin he fell back in the sand and let the water rush under and around him, floating him above the sands for a moment and then setting him down. The cool sensation of the water caused him to shiver in glee.

This was a good night.
Away from his people.

Away from his clan.

Away from everything.

Kashyyyk

Last she was here was...hmmm she couldn't quite remember when that was...she remembered storming the beach with people gun fire all around, she remembered the explosions as she charged into the forest shooting the opposition down

She remembered as she got to the center along the way having to fight zombie wookies, she remembered she had lost her legs to the dark entity that was here

Now she was here, to pay her respects to the fallen Mandalorians, to show they had her support on and off the field

But..mostly because there was lots of booze and challenging a Mandalorian to a drinking contest was pure fun she heard, not to mention the atmosphere was amazing she could help but mingle this time...and so she did

Victory

Sweet victory.

One that would be cemented and remembered by having a feast after the Mandalorians liberated Kashyyyk from the vile hands of the Galactic Republic. There were many Mandalorian and Wookie casualties to attend to and there scars upon the earth of Kashyyyk that would need repairs which were all underway. Each and every Republic soldiers that pledged all their loyalty was executed wherever they were standing and not given a proper burial. Instead their corpses were left alone so that the creatures and animals of Kashyyyk could feast on them.

As Kashyyyk was being rebuild and reconstructed, they all needed a night's worth to lay back and enjoy their victory against the tyrants of the Republic. And so tonight was the night for that.

But Vilaz wouldn't celebrate with his fellow comrades. No, tonight he would celebrate with one special someone all alone in some abandoned, yet decent treehouse that Wookies would inhabit in. These days of reconstruction barely gave Vilaz and Bree to enjoy each other's company, but they would take advantage of that tonight.

The battle was over. Kashyyyk had fallen to the Mandalorian Clans. Contrary to what certain Republic propaganda mouthpieces were claiming, the Wookiees had not death charged the Mandalorians and fought them to the last drop of blood. Of course, many Wookies were unhappy about the fact that the Republic-Mandalore conflict had brought war to their planet. Few invaders were loved by those whose worlds they conquered. However, equally the Wookiees felt no desire to sacrifice themselves on the altar of the broken, corrupt Republic that had thoroughly failed its own soldiers and citizens. The fact that the Clans had not wantonly slaughtered natives was probably a point in their favour. The bell had tolled for the Republic.

Elpsis had been part of the invasion force. Her role had not been a major one, but she'd done her part to wipe the Republic's stain from the planet by putting its defenders to the pyre. Now she was drawn to the celebrations, having given [member="Tempest"] a call and told her girlfriend she was fine. The sound of music echoed across the Royal City, Mandalorians and Dathomiri Witches warmed themselves around bonfires that had sprung up on ground level.

"Come on, Leo," Elpsis whistled to get the attention of her Cylix. The big lion had been munching on a dead Republic soldier. By now there was not a lot left of the unfortunate fellow since the feline had quite an appetite. Leo looked up from his feast, then trotted over to her. "That's my boy," the girl said cheerfully and ruffled his glorious mane and between his ears. She paid the pieces of flesh hanging from his teeth no mind. It was all just nature taking its course. Her attention was drawn towards the Stormcallers who dancing and chanting in their native Dathomiri tongue. Elpsis could not understand their words, but she tried to hum along with the singing.

Tree houses were gorgeous. Kashyyk was actually a beautiful planet, when not torn by war and on fire. And above the trees, on the beach, Funky had acquired a nice little tree...place. It felt too big to call it a tre house. It had formerly been a guard tower, but the fires had done some damage to the embankments. Ad now, he'd spent the last three days re-building it. Re-shaping it. Building a new place. A new hall, to sing, and drink and make merry. Hell, he'd even used soem pipe from the various scrapped walkers to build a seven-story still, because why the heck not?

He grinned wickedly as he put paint on the sign:

Katadyr B'Valyr

The Turkey's Nest. A bit of a grim joke to commemorate the battleground, but such was the duty of house Balor. They were those sworn to laugh at death. He smiled, looking at the sign. Looking at the otehr men of Balor. He chuckled. "Today, we will provide free fodo and drink to our vod, and to the locals, until we have run out. Tomorrow, we begin distilling and making a new hall here, to honor our fallen brothers, and to carve the memories of our stories into these wooden walls!"

"OYA, ADALUR! SHERESHOY, OYA!!!"

"That's the spirit, men! Raise your glasses and revel. For the night is young, and full of beauty! Drink, eat, and play!"

Why was she here...

She didn't like gathering..especially of those she didn't know at all...just felt...unknown

Yet something guided her here...what most would call the force she called the flame...the flame guided her here...she knew not why nor cared she simply followed it....the dark hair, paired skin, eye patched girl knew only who was here...a name that was feared and praised upon

The Mandalorian clans

She knew nothing about Mandalorians or their culture, only that she was being drawn to them for some reason....maybe she would figure it out...

Didn't stop her from grabbing a drink and goimg off into her own little spot...maybe she'd be left alone..she kinda hoped not...yet she didn't like goimg to others and talkimg...

While the Akaan and his Vanguard swept the perimeter and secured the area for the Mandalorian Clans' victory celebration, Briika had accompanied the last of the injured verde and Wookiees as well to the Rapid Response Mobile Surgical Unit (RMSU or Rimsoo for short) that had been set up behind the front lines of fighting during the invasion. Those that couldn't be patched up easily or stabilized there were transported up the the medical frigate in orbit via MedEvac transport ships of the Mandalorian Medical Corps for more advanced care.

With her medical work done for now, the seasoned battle medic went back to where the 'party' was to happen. The Alor of Clan Munin had left her a message to meet him at a certain tree house. Good thing the rugged Concordian had sent her the coordinates as it was difficult to tell one from the other, not like they had street numbers. Apparently her beloved had arranged for a nice place for them to spend some much needed 'us' time away from the other celebrating vode. It was fine with Briika as she just wanted to relax and cuddle to be honest after the intenseness of battle even though this wasn't anything like she'd experienced before. It has been rather passive, but surviving any confrontation was something one should never be taken for granted especially when family had been on the line too.

After making her way up to the wooden platform that made up the wraparound decking of the tree house, the golden blonde popped her buy'ce off and held it under her gauntleted arm resting the silver-cololred helmet on her shapely hip. Heavy boots scuffed along the flooring as she approached the Cuir Rekr standing at the railing on the opposite side of where the staircase was. Music and chanting could be heard not too far away. It must the the Witches adding to the celebration. Force help the jage of the Mando'ade tonight.

"Su'cuy, ner cyare," Bree smiled warmly as she sauntered up.

Outfit he is wearing ignore the eyes and weapon in his hand.

Kashyyyk was the exact opposite of everywhere he had ever been. Still on his Galaxy wide tour in search of meaning he had ended up on the world by chance. His ship was low on supplies and in need of repairs. Nothing major but Cole was the type of guy that liked to keep everything in good working order.

It seemed he had chosen a very unusual time to end up on this particular planet. Security was extra tight and it took darn near a full cavity search and a verbal recollection of his entire life story just to be able to land. Even then Cole had been forced to leave all but a single of the weapons he normally carried on the ship. It had taken some doing but he had managed to convince them to let him keep his father's sword in the sheath on his back.

While his pilot got to work on supplies and repairs Cole decided to take a look around. He wandered semi aimlessly through the thongs of peopleseeming to head out of the city and towards hopefully less populated areas.

She had sent him messages during the battle, not to distract him, but to remind him of home and what awaited him there.

When word spread that they had taken Kashyyyk and Draco wanted her to join him there, Faith packed her bags had Ana pack hers and they headed off. Draco had promised her ice cream and pickles when she arrived and she hoped that he had them. It was a terrible thing to have this craving that just wouldn't go away.

Course some of the old wives running around told her stories about why she craved such things, and traits that it would mean the children would have. She laughed and listened not wanting to be rude.

The staff was excited no matter what they couldn't wait to have the sound of children playing again in the palace. The previous Queen was not married nor did she have children so the Alderaan Palace was excited.

Aldera was holding its breath this was the first Royal Birth since her mother had ascended the throne.

Captain Lindsey paced almost as bad as Draco. Normally it would be dismissed that he was nervous at the new responsibilities but the truth he had watched her grow up as he had grown older, he watched with her first marriage, her son, and now he watched her go through everything with Draco. He was her surrogate father.

It took some time but Faith arrived on Kashyyyk without incident. Ana sent the message to Draco on their approach they had arrived. The ship wouldn't be hard to spot, it was the one given to Faith by Draco.

Course Faith was mad at Draco and his little 'stunt' on Kashyyyk could have gotten himself killed. She did that pregnant woman waddle and headed down the gangplank to see Drahr.

He stood there at the railing of the treehouse and listened and viewed the celebration the Mandalorians were having. They drank, they danced, they sang, they fought, and they rocked throughout the night along with some of the Wookies that joined them and the Witches of Dathomir. It was a good thing he was in the tree house and not participating the in the festivities because some random witch would most likely kidnap him and just use him for their own wants if he interpreted the rumors and stories of what the Dathomirian witches do with their men. But the only woman Vilaz belonged to was Bree and Bree alone, and just like he belonged to his beloved the golden blonde also belonged to the Akaan.

And speaking of Bree, Vilaz's face was conquered with a smile as he heard her voice and turned around to see her approaching towards him in a slow rhythm. The Munin took off his helmet and held it under his arm. "Cyar'ika, the Alor said and walked towards her in a somewhat fast pace and closed the gap between them. Once he was close to her, he dropped his helmet and embraced her. After a few moments of holding her in his arms Vilaz then pulled himself and pressed his lips against hers. Their kiss lasted for several moments and the Cuir Rekr stared into her appealing eyes and said very sweetly, "Mmm, I've been thinking about your eyes, your lips, and everything else about you."

One of his hands wrapped around one of Bree's and led her to railing of the treehouse, "I got your favorite bottle of wine, Bree," the Concordian said to the battle medic and indicated a nice bottle of Red Mandalorian wine cooling in a wine cooler full of ice. Next to it were two fancy glasses just ready to be filled with wine."So how's it going at the RMSU? Everything going smooth and steady?"

The battle was won and now the time of building, rebuilding, and making friends with the locals became the priority. But she had to admit the firefight at the Embassy had been light the hottest thing there had been the fire, and her sister Ginnie. Tough kid for certain. Good Mando'ade, terrific sister.

The throngs of people standing around the fires, wandering around clearing away debrie, she knew she should lend a hand. She just wasn't there yet, she needed a break. Walking slowly still with her purple and silver armor she thought about the Republic, she had gone there to serve. Gone there to make friends so long ago it seemed, but now this. War.

She walked towards the beaches she heard it was pot marked and trenched from the battle but it was the one place she didn't expect too many Vod to be hanging around, the majority of the fight had happened there, a LOT had happened there.

The path was worn but easily seen as she walked along, no way to get lost out here she looked up, yep Kashyyyk had it's own beauty. She had a feeling she was going to like this. Maybe a hut on the beach, she made herself laugh.

Azure eyes never left the sapphire ones gazing longingly at Briika as the Akaan walked with a most urgent, singular purpose towards her. As soon as Vilaz's buy'ce was let loose from his grasp so was the battle medic's allowing their armored bodies to come together in a passionate kiss; not putting any thought to the two thuds of their helmets hitting the wooden decking to the side of them.

"I'm of the same mindset, cyar'ika. I couldn't wait to join you again, especially now as we can celebrate, alone," Bree answered with a breathless smile as the rugged Concordian's always seemed to make her that way after his amazing kisses.

The Cuir Rekr took her hand in his and lead the blonde over to the railing where he had been standing before her arrival. There was a bottle of Mandalorian red wine chilling. It made Briika's heart skip a beat as that was her favorite to drink. Vilaz was so romantic and thoughtful, and she truly appreciative his gestures of affection towards her.

Briika's blue-green orbs went from the wine back to her beloved. She leaned in and kissed his cheek tenderly. "You're so sweet, Vil'ika… and things are good. Our casualties were minimal compared to other engagements of this size. The Shukalar's injuries were the worst I believe of those wounded, but he is recovering nicely I was told," Bree nodded, then rested back against the railing casually as a soft, refreshing breeze swept through the trees.

"So how did we manage to get this treehouse all to ourselves, hmm? Not that I'm complaining, just curious is all," she asked with an inquisitive tilt of her golden head as Vilaz poured them both a glass of wine.

His cheek blushed in bright, cherry color as his beloved kissed him tenderly after he informed her of bringing their her favorite drink for them to enjoy on this night, alone with each other. He was happy and so was she which made Vilaz even more happier than he was right now. His clan prospering made him happy; Mandalore being strong and mighty than ever made him happy; their victory on Kashyyyk made him happy; his mixed family made him happy; and the amazing woman that was with him right now made him happy. Happy and alive he was, and he wished for this to continue forever.

The golden blonde then answered his question in regards of the operations at the RMSU. The Munin knew that his beloved was an expert medic which meant that many of the wounded were in good hands when they being attended by Bree. The Akaan hoped that every injured Mandalorian would recover very quickly. Out of all the wounded, he worried for Draco, the Shukalar and a close friend of his, after hearing the stunt he made at the beach during the battle. A stunt like that could've killed, or it could've left him in a worse state than death. Luckily, he was recovering very nicely from what Bree told him.

"I hope all the wounded will recover very soon. Besides, they have a well experienced that I know can make things better really quick," Vilaz said to Bree very sweetly and beamed at her as he was regarded towards her of that well experienced medic he talked about.

The Concordian began to pour wine for both him and his beloved, and was then asked a question about how they managed to get this treehouse all to themselves. He then approached Bree with the two glasses of wine in his hands and then said, "Well, this treehouse was abandoned when I came to inspect it and it was empty, besides the furniture. The Wookies living in here must've left it to escape from the battle and left for some other city here on Kashyyyk. So I thought that this would be a perfect place for us to celebrate all to ourselves." His answer was true and honest like every other answer he gave to his soulmate. Vilaz then handed a glass of wine to Bree and then said with a warm smile as he raised his glass towards Bree, "To us and to our future."

Cole made his way along following a path that look like it had seen better days. He instinctively began whistling a little tune he had heard his father sing when he was a child. The sound was partially muffled the mask he wore but an occasional note made it's way out to anyone around him.

It was not long until he heard the crashing of waves. It was soothing yet powerful. Cole began walking faster just a bit towards the sound and unknown to him towards a particular redheaded woman he had not yet met. [member="Arla Balor"]

Just before he reached the clearing onto the beach absently swatted at a low hanging tree branch. The sound of sand crunching under his feet made him smile for just a split second walking a few feet looking down. It was not until the familiar smells of a battle not very long past made him look up and around.

It seems like somebody had down a number on the beach and everything around it. He wondered if it was safe to walk around with the risk of any unexploded ordinance still buried in the sand.

Why was she here again?
No one knew her
She knew no one

Maybe it was just...because she wanted a place to belong

you killed us all and now you redeem!

a voice cried in her head...lately they had been popping up...she'd just hear a voice accuse her, the past that she was trying to bury was just coming back to haunt her now, why...why why why

"Why why why why "she stopped realizing she was speaking aloud and coughed as she went iver to the tankard and got a glass and took a big drink of it, she felt that warmth and relaxed as she heard the voices drowned out...ahhh...that felt so much better...the alcohol made it all better

She looked around at the peo0le who were dancing having a good time and simply sat to drink...maybe she could get drunk enough to socialize...she hoped so

There was movement behind her she turned and out of instinct reached for her pistol. But she had to remember this was mando'ade territory now, she gave him the once over. he wasnt vod so who was he.

Masked, armed? and well Doing the same thing she was looking over a battlefield. she stood taller and still kept her fingers resting on her weapon. She moved closer so he could hear her, "Su'cuy gar ner vod. Did you see the battle?"

Was he a scout? They had gotten them all she thought. The waves on her left beach to her right and a masked man to the front.

[member="Cole Dagos"]

Cole turned towards the voice noticing the hand on the blaster first and then the person.

"Su............cuy........................what?"

The tone of his voice was pure confusion at whatever she had said until she asked if he had seen the battle."

"Heard about yes.................saw..................no." "Just got here...............my ship needed repairs and restocked. "This was the closest place to do so"

He walked towards [member="Arla Balor"] his steps slow and careful glancing back towards her hand on her weapon.

"Don't think you are going to need that.............only thing I plan on killing is time."

Cole pulled his hood down of his head and the mask from his face. He looked around but still spoke.

"Looks like a fight nobody survived unscathed?" "The memories always seem to do more harm than the fighting itself."

Well that answered that he was not Mando'ade she nodded a bit jumpy when he reached for his mask. She slowly lifted her hand from her weapon.

"Its a greeting, like hello."

Deep breath and speak.

"yes it was bad here. They were dug in fighting overwhelming odds But they made it out saw another day." She looked over, "ship repairs is someone looking the damage over?

She wasnt a heathen she had some manners sometimes.

Should she give her name? Why she asked herself. He was different Unique . "Im Arla Balor of Clan Ordo" Ok who was he now?
