Cole didn't answer her question at least not verbally. He simply closed the distance between them and reached out pushing her back on to the bed. His lips meeting hers again as time and space melted away until morning...................................................................................

"Good thing then I have cotton balls in my medpac… Just in case you get too loud in my ear," Mesh quipped lightly with a soft smile, then the petite blonde kneeled down as Marcus made room for her in his spot. If she laid on her side, then both of them would be on the bag though the question in the young medic's mind was to face him or away?

"I wouldn't be too worried about ner buir's punch… more so her exacting aim. She's very good with blasters, like me," she answered, flashing a lopsided grin before laying down on her left side facing away from the slicer, holster side up atop hip; pulling her long golden locks off to the underside so they didn't get in the man's face.

"You can snuggle up if you like... to keep the cold away. I don't bite much."

The night passed too quickly and the morning was already peeking through the windows. The lantern had long gone out and now Arla could feel the heat from the streaks of sunlight coming through the window.

She peered out from beneath the light cover and looked to see if Cole was still there, she smiled when she saw that he was. He had not asked anything of her and she had not offered anything other than herself it made things easier too often the stress of expectations played into things and set them upon the path of ruin before ever truly starting.

She needed to call home to check on Avrum she knew she should get up and head back home, the celebrating she knew had gone long into the night and some would stay for days setting up and seeking out wookies who desired to be part of mandalorian squads. She had considered such a thing and still might in the future.

She needed water, she looked around there was to be water in here..oh...she saw the skin. Slowly she slipped from the bed, her bare feet hardly heard as she crossed the room for the skin. She quickly opened it and took a long draw on it. Very nice..very..much needed. She glanced back to Cole's sleeping form. Her armor strewn about on the floor.

Yes...it had been a long night. She looked out the window, many were up and moving about, their intent the same as hers.

But now what of Cole, his ship, his sister...she needed to stay until she knew they were ok. She couldn't really just leave, no she needed to make sure they were taken care of.

Cole stretched as he woke taking a deep breath. After a minute he opened his eyes, sat up. rubbed them , and then looked over to Arla.

"You gonna share?"

He smiled looking at her as he started to slide out of the bed and move towards her.

"Morning beautiful."

Cole looked Arla up and down for a minute before reaching out for the skin about to die of thirst. Arla was everything he had hoped she would be and more.

"Oh now you want my water too" She teased and offered the skin, "I promised to teach you what I can about Mandalorian culture, so I'll start with language." She smiled as her green eyes took an appreciative look at him now in the golden glow of morning.

"Meh gar gotal'ur akaan asas gar gotal'ur kar'taylir darasuum Ni buskaya aru'ela val narir va ganar a pavarnr" She smiled "it means if you make war like you make love I pity the enemy" It was a compliment and she hoped he took it as so.

"I have shatual jerky for breakfast, and maybe some uj'alayi leftover to go with the water. I'm not much of a breakfast person I like dinner more than anything." She couldn't help but look up at him, and against at the contrast in their skin and hair. She was tan from the sun and he was pale white.

"You can teach me too you know, do all echani look like you?" She wanted to know if all of them did a lot of things like him. For clearly she had missed out on something.

Cole took the skin taking a long drag of it before handing it back.

"Unfortunately for you I don't do anything better than I make love."

He smirked reaching out and grabbing her hips pulling her into him.

"My favorite meal is dessert........actually."

He smiled kissing her lips before answering her question.

"Those of us born on Eshan yes...........we all share similar characteristics." "Though Eshan is Matriarchal................The Thyrsians born on Thyrsus while also considered Echani are Patriarchal and darker skinned."

He shrugged.

"Don't know much more about the Thyrsians than what I have heard."

"Oh I don't believe that" Little did they know that the call to take on the Omega would come and she'd get to see his fighting style. "Dessert you say I can see why that would be a favorite. Course it depends on what you mean by dessert" Some would call their evening activities dessert, others would only think of something sweet and sticky.

The kiss was warm, gentle with a hint of promises of more, she could handle that. She stayed close even when he broke the kiss to answer her question.

"Matriarchal how interesting. So...the women...are...the leaders? Can men be leaders? Because on Mandalore within Mandalorian culture, it can be one or the other, all one needs to do is prove themself worthy of the job"

This was certainly one way to teach culture

Cole smirked.

"In this case by dessert I mean you." "On Eshan yes women hold most if not all positions of influence and power." "Like everything else in some cases it is a good thing and in other cases it is a bad thing." "Power can be corrupting whether you are a man or a woman."

Cole paused running a hand through Arla's hair playfully giving it a soft tug.

"It is really only on Thyrsus that men hold any leadership rolls." "It is like a night and day thing between the two planets.............opposite sides of the same coin if you will." "Thought to say the other is repressed in any true form would be inaccurate." "Just more of a working harder to get just as far scenario."

Marcus raised an eyebrow at the mention of her mother's aim but laughed it off a few moments later.

"You must be a real expert... Maybe we could go 'Shooting' sometime."

The thought of spending more time with this baar'ur was appealing to say the least, and if firing off a few rounds into a few targets would hold her interest, he would jump to the capital world in a heartbeat. What he still couldn't figure out was whether or not she knew what she was getting into if she agreed to spend more time with him. The doubt laid in the obvious disinterest she had towards the smuggler moon and the city lifestyle, and his loathing of the boredom that came from Ranch life.

The thought of forgetting about this one evaporated in his mind, however, when she spoke those last few words. Of course, he was all kinds of ready to snuggle!.. For warmth of course. He was sure that he had read of the horribly frigid nights that Kashyyyk had... In some holomag or another. In one fluid motion, he brought his arm about her and pushed his body as close as the armor plating they both wore would allow.

"It is kind of chilly, now that you mention it... No wonder these Wookiee have fur, huh?"

Ooo she was dessert how nice was that no one had ever called her dessert before she felt the heat in her cheeks, wow..that was something new she was blushing. But she did not turn away no he had in that moment made her feel special and he deserved to know that he had.

Power could be corrupting, yes, "Yes power can be corrupting." She remembered the Hutt's palace and how he had embarassed and belittled the slaves, or anyone that did not fit into what he wanted, or just for pleasure yes power could be a bad thing.

As his hand swept through her hair she couldn't help but reach out to place her hand on his chest, his skin was cool to the touch and soft. The muscles taut as they flexed with each breath he took, he was...like a porcelain statue, so beautiful and yet it conflicted with the look in his eyes she had seen the night before. when he had been hurt by a memory, it was hard to protect someone from memories.

"The same people, yet living separate." She sort of understood this, "The Mandalorians we are all sovereign in our clans, and yet we are scattered throughout. We only gather like this for war for battle. Do you people do this as well? In that they gather to protect what belongs to the Eschani?"

She couldn't help but let the tips of her fingers lightly play on his skin, as she enjoyed the sensations exchanged through touch.

Cole shrugged.

"I don't know.............doubt it." "I left home as soon as I could." "Only been back once and even then I didn't stay very long."

Cole thought back to all the interactions he had with other Echani since he had left Eshan at 18. None of it was really positive nor gave him any desire to go back again.

"If I had to be honest I would say they have lost their way." "They seem to rather make back alley deals to save their own hides than stand up for what is right."

Cole ran his hands up and down Arla's arms giving her a smile.

"Sovereign but you do all answer to a single person right?" "You mentioned a Mandalore...............the tenets?" "Or does that really only apply towards a common threat.............like the Republic?"

[member="Arla Balor"]

"It is slightly complicated, as an Alor I answer to my clansmen, I am responsible for their actions if they go off and kill innocents I am the one who must punish them, or be punished by the Mand'alor or answer to him why I did not punish them. As a people we all answer to the Mand'alor when he calls us to battle against an enemy, like the Republic. The Clan has rules to follow as well, but everything is based into the 6 tenents, the 6 laws."

She nuzzled her nose against his throat softly she could feel the vibrations of his speech through their contact. "It can be a hard life when there is one battle after another, it can be harder when we are expanding our borders to provide for our clans our people. You and your sister would be welcome Cole among us." She moved her hands to glide over his shoulders she enjoyed this feeling.

"Does this help?" She wanted to be sure he understood.

[member="Cole Dagos"]

Cole nodded pulling away from her.

"A good leader is always responsible for the actions of the people under their command." "It makes sense."

Cole started gathering his things.

"Speaking of which I should really find Kaia and get back to the ship." "Need to check on the repairs and make sure I can actually get off this planet."

Cole winked.

"Until next time."

"I'd love to go shooting with you sometime. It's something I really enjoy. Having a partner to do it with either at the shooting range or like on a hunt would be even more so," the blonde answered positively flashing the slicer a sweet smile before laying her golden head down upon her bent arm.

She liked to fish too, but Mesh'la didn't want to push too much on the poor guy especially if that was a total turn off. The Mandalore-born really was an outdoor type girl. The young medic wondered if she'd fit into Marcus' life at all given he seemed to like the more complex life of the bright lights and goings on of city life.

When Marcus moved up close enough the their armor plates touched and he encircled her waist with his arm as they spooned, Mesh's heart rate quickened just a bit. Okay more than that actually. She nearly panicked, but calmed herself enough to relax back into the man. The thing was it felt so good to be held once again, even fully dressed in the beskar'gam they each wore.

"I know, right?" Mesh chuckled softly, turning her golden head back and face upward to gaze into Marcus' eyes as they laid on their sides facing the fire. The slicer's dark pools looked mesmerizing with the flicker of fire light dancing across the surface.

"Well I suppose we could unzip the sleeping bag and use it as a cover instead of a bedding mat to keep warm… unless you have a better idea?"
