The weapon holds three crystals two of which take advantage of a Bifurcating cyclical-ignition pulse, a pulse that allowed the Lightsaber to activate underwater. Her shoto dualsaber uses two small Krayt dragon pearls.

Description:
Vassara's Lightsaber was not made until about a year into her knighthood. After collecting various parts from various missions and explorations, she finally found the time to make here own.
Two special crystals were inserted into the blade. The first a Glare Ice Lightsaber crystal Vassara had found on illum. the crystal provides advanced protection against cold environments and effects such as cryoban and the like. The second perk of this unique crystal is it's ability to cool her temper. The crystal allows her to remain much calmer, and better centred than most folks in a stressful, or dangerous situation.
The Second addition was here own Lightsaber Crystal, repaired by her and force Imbued. Inside lives a Jal'Shey spirit whom guards her saber against any manipulation from adversary force users. The Lightsaber itself is unique in that it only responds to her touch, the crystal having been attuned to her and recognizing only her force signature.
A last and final spot was reserved in the pommel just below the powercell in a hidden compartment. Inside this mini compartment lays another crystal, not a part of the circuits, but important nonetheless. Hoping to one day pass on her saber Vassara imprinted the collective Knowledge of her Spacers Datacron in it, allowing future students to learn when she is ascended into the force.
