Vision

Somewhere, in the far reaches of the outer rim, there was a planet. A dark, cold, swamp-like world. One that, if you didn't know its name, you would mistake for Dagobah. On this planet..were two siblings, a purple haired 18 year old boy, and a black haired 13 year old girl. They were sat around a fire, the boy, was fiddling with what seemed to be a Lightsaber. They were sat in an abandoned slave camp, a womp-rat cooking in the fire. This womp rat had a very precise cut through its chest, as if the boy had been training.

Every few seconds, the saber ignited only to spark and the blade retracting with the spark. The boy grunted in frustration, putting the saber down to have a break from working on it. The boy bit into a bit of the womp rat that he had in his hand, it was disgusting but also satisfying to his hunger. He swallowed the chunk of meat in his mouth and said in anger

"Damned thing, I can't get it to work!"

Kino stares into the fire, looking extremely fatigued. She never gets any good rest, always tossing and turning. She rubs her eyes yawning. Looking to her brother. "Can I have a bite?" She asked. Looking at him with droopy eyes. She sighed. "You are always fiddling with that broken saber. You do really think you can make it work?" She asked rubbing her eyes. She stares back into the fire. The heat soothing Kino's tired body.

"I've never thought the fire would be some comforting. You know?" She pondered to herself. She closes her eyes and feels the flow of the Galaxy. The movement. The comfort. She just wants a peaceful life. But she wants to end all of the evil. Allow peace to control. She wants to galaxy to be calm.

The boy looks at her. He watches her before going next to her and hugging her comfortingly. He, like her, just wants to live peacefully, but due to being a force sensitive, as evidenced by his lightsaber, he knows he'll never have one. He replies.
"It is pretty comforting.."
He looks back at the saber. He slides it over to him with his foot and picks it up. He then states..
"I'm pretty sure I can get this damned saber to work..I hope I can."

Meditation Room of the Gale Force, Cartao-class carrier cruiser
Location Classified

It had been a while since the last time revelation struck Kemoth, even during her meditation sessions. A few years, at least. It was a surprise. A shock, a spasm, blacking out only to be revealed a vision different than the one she had seen before. Two children - a boy, and a younger girl - on a deserted planet, eating some kind of animal. At least she hoped it was an animal, but Kemoth was shown a deserted slave camp next and she knew that they might be so hungry they’d eat things you wouldn’t normally eat. It made her sick. Who could leave two children there, alone, and why was she seeing them?

When the revelation ended, Kemoth’s floating meditation was still continuing. It had to, so that she could find these children and bring them home. To their new home. Why else would the Force have shown them to her, except to make sure she did something? Farsight was a useful ability. Feeling for them in the Force, Kemoth’s connection to that great power gave her the view of an ugly planet in an ignored sector of space. She didn’t know its name, but Kemoth knew that she would be going there soon.

After hovering downwards, Kemoth stood and walked out of the meditation room she had added to her Cartao-class carrier-cruiser. When she exited the room, door hissing shut behind her, she looks to her attendant and told the boy to plot a course to the set of coordinates she had given him. He tapped away furiously, trying to make sure that he got them all down before he had forgotten them. She gave a soft smile when he held up the datapad in his hand wordlessly - his face asking if he had gotten it right instead of his voice - and she nodded, ruffling Cerus’ hair.

”I’ll be on the bridge in a few moments. Insure that the fleet is making way to the planet by the time I arrive.” Kemoth ordered. “Dismissed.” She said, and Cerus saluted before turning on his heels and marching away. She made way to the hanger, personally requisitioning a fighter for her to pilot down to the surface from some cold-voiced Twi’lek.

Meanwhile, back on the planet. Matthew's lightsaber had finally ignited for a full minute at most. The purple blade exposing his face, an expression of glee, he yelled out in joy at the sight of the violet blade.
"I finally got it to work! After seven years!"
He looked over to his sister, making sure she was still there. She was all he had left, he needed her. He looked up at the sky, before disabling the saber and putting it into his ragged belt, he wrapped his arms around his sister in a loving, comforting, brotherly embrace. In order to reassure her, he stated
"Someone has to find us eventually, sis. Don't worry."
He hoped he wasn't wrong. Someone HAD to find them, they're just children. He wondered how they weren't dead from disease yet, but knowing of his, and his sister's possible, force sensitivity, since he saw his saber floating in-front of him when he first built it, the diseases were probably destroyed by unknowingly force-enhanced white blood cells within the plasma known as blood. He kissed his sister on the forehead.

Kino looks to Matthew as he gets his saber to work. "Good job, Maybe you can cut us out of here now?" She closes her eyes. Almost falling asleep. His words kept her awake. He's the only thing keeping her slightly sane. Shes already lost most of her social skills now though. However, the company has kept her from madness. "Yea, let's hope someone comes..." She grins with an empty expression. She really has taken a lot of mental damage, however. It is quite the miracle they have survived this long.

Matthew looks at Kino before cuddling up next to her, to keep her warm, and closing his eyes. Unlike his sister, he retained most of his mentality by creating up fake personalities to talk to, maybe he won't need them anymore. "I doubt that, considering the saber doesn't even function. I only just got it to start activating, it'll be a long time before it starts to properly work." He opens his eyes, remembering when they were back on Mandalore, he remembered the wind against his face as he trained with his father, he remembered the birth of his sister, her first birthday. He smiled at the memories. "I miss mom, dad, our siblings, I miss everyone."

Location Classified

Aboard her heavy cruiser, all had been put in place for her arrival on the planet. Kemoth’s four discblades were placed on her back, prepared for possible use against enemies that might be on the planet. She didn’t sense anything, though, nor see it with Farsight. Their foes were likely far gone, save for a few beasts, and a… monitoring outpost? Her flotilla couldn’t be picked up. It wasn’t acceptable.

”Contact the bridge. There has been a change of plans. The flotilla is to halt their approach a few systems away from the planet. I’ll be carrying in on a starfighter alone.” Kemoth said to the Twi’lek she had just requisitioned her fighter from.

“Yes, ma’am.” The blue-colored woman said. Kemoth nodded, and looked towards the hanger as it opened. They were going to be there soon.

“All you need to do is wait for me, my future apprentices.” Kemoth thought to herself, adjusting the holster of her disruptor, the Pale Echo. Kemoth moved into the hanger. It was hustling with life. Not as much as would be in a battle, but there were people here and there, droids scurrying from place to place. Kemoth levitated herself upwards, waving her hand at the 45 meter long starfighter’s cockpit, opening it for her to hover into. Her fingers worked to bring the fighter whirring to life as she used her free right hand to pull her collapsible helm off of her thigh. Another arm formed on the her left side, and she brought it onto her head. Then, the breathing apparatus on the fighter was attached, completing her seal and allowing her a source of oxygen that wouldn’t be interrupted even if she had to eject, thanks to the chair.

That extra arm she summoned was reabsorbed as Kemoth’s hands went to work. As soon as the ship came to be still when it exited hyperspace, she would launch from the hanger and activate the fighter’s hyperdrive so that she could make way to that world of dust and emptiness.

Kino looks to her brother, "I mean. Your half way there. You've got it to activate. I'm pretty sure you can get it to cut things." She closes her eyes and rubs them again. She doesn't remember her days on Mandalore. She's basically been here for all of her remembering life. She wants to meet new people so bad. A mother figure would be nice too. "I never got to know them. So I can't really miss them right? I still miss them though." She looks around before looking back to her brother. "I'm going to bed. Good night. Love you!" She stands, walking over to a blanket. Laying down to drift to sleep. She plops her head onto her pillow. Looking to the stars. "One day" She mutters before drifting off to sleep. Her peacefulness shows when she sleeps. The galaxy has not treated her well.

Matthew, after watching his sister go to sleep, stood up and went around the camp, preparing the camps premade security measures for the night. He didn't care for himself, he just did this so that his sister would be safe. After he finished, he sat down and began to tinker with his saber. Giving the occasional curse of frustration in Mandalorian, he did this for the whole night, until eventually passing out from little to no sleep...

Patience had to be one of the virtues you possessed in this galaxy to survive, especially when you were in Kemoth’s line of work. The sound of the rebreather echoed throughout the subtly whirring, 45 meter Asterian starfighter she had popped into the pilot seat of. Its engines were waiting to fire up, but not as much as Kemoth was waiting to meet her future pupils. First, however, the vessel would soon enter hyperspace. Thankfully for Kemoth, she possessed that patience that she so needed.

Patience also had its rewards. Within moments of her nerves calming, a voice stirred her comlink with sound, crystal clear, like a perfect reflection of the man speaking.

“This is the bridge. You are cleared for launch, Chancellor Archon. Be safe. We can’t afford to lose you.” He said. Kemoth quirked a brow. Perhaps surrounding herself with people who liked her wasn’t the greatest idea in the world, but it was an endearing one. She’d have to find someone who railed against her, though, to be her attendant or something. They could be endearing, too… and less annoying when your surrounded by people who constantly say things so similar to this. Kemoth did realize, however, that they were right. Asteria needed her to remain alive, serving as Chancellor Archon, to insure its stability.

”Understood. Chancellor Archon launching.” Kemoth sounded back, as the pad for her starfighter was cleared. The silver craft and its blue, glowing lights - which traced alongside the fighter - hovered upwards, propelled by atmospheric maneuvering thrusters before she disappeared into the darkness of space, which wasn’t so dark once you got to know it. It was filled with wonder, life, light, and the absence of it all. The universe did indeed create beautiful things, like what was about to happen - a rescue, a giving of new life and hope - though what came before it was likely not beautiful at all. Kemoth knew it would be difficult. It had been years since she had needed to take care of a child so closely, over such long periods of time, much less two children, but she was willing to take the challenge.

The Gale Force shrunk behind her craft, becoming smaller and smaller as her piece of beauty accelerated towards the planet, towards the children she would take under her wing and bring into the beauty and enlightenment of the Pale. Kemoth watched the atmosphere heat up around the front of the starfighter, and soon the burning rose of friction-heated air dissipated, and she was left using the Force to navigate towards where the children were… or a little away, at least. No need to scare them with noise.

She let the wall between her and where the passengers would sit fall away, and pulled the breath mask from her helm. The collapsable helm was stowed away by Kemoth’s hand to the side, and she unlatched her safety seatbelts. The woman stood, not levitating out of the cockpit like she had levitated inside of it, but instead exiting through the stairway that descended from the back of the heavy starfighter. Suddenly, Kemoth disappeared and two droids whirred to life, the MagnaDroids stepping forward to defend the starfighter should someone venture out from the monitoring post near-by.

She reappeared just outside of the camp, and stepped forward, only to pause. Kemoth sighed, and stepped forward after a moment, only to disappear midstep. Two blaster bolts struck where she would have been, and then, she was in the camp.

Kemoth decided to move towards the fire, which was smoldering. The poor things were probably cold. She snapped, and it roared to life. Pyrokinesis was an useful ability - she had picked it up during her tenure as a Jedi. Hopefully this would keep them warm, but she would need to find fuel eventually. A fire sustaining itself on air alone could become dangerous, and would have to be continuously fueled by the Force.

”We are not inside, however. The fire will not consume all of the oxygen. They will be safe.” Kemoth thought to herself.

Kemoth sat on a force barrier she formed, and would sit there patiently, waiting for those that would one day be trained with her to wake up. She would sit there for however long she needed, knowing that they needed their sleep, and that she could outlast them in terms of stamina and energy, and still be able to pilot by the time came for them to be taken to the Gale Force.

After a long, harsh night. Matthew awoke as he fell off the seat he was tinkering with his saber on, the saber falling with him, he hit the floor face first. This created a loud noise, as crates fell to the floor. Matt just layed there, too weak to stand or even speak, all he could do was grunt painfully. His whole body ached, he was starving as he didnt eat much yesterday..He gave his sister most of the food. His saber rolled away from him and out of the tent.

Eventually, through the harsh winds and cold night. The sun arose and, with it, a storm came. The sky was filled with clouds, the camp having a roof to protect against the worlds acidic rain. The boy, having passed out, once again awoke and sat up. He let out a tired groan and finally, after noticing their food, a womp rat, went off(became inedible) during the night, said. "Great.."

Kemoth’s Codru-Ji ears and their amazing hearing picked up not only the heartbeats of the children, but the rustling of the boy as he awoke. She clasped her fingers together, watching as her looked at the food of his that had ruined during the night. Surviving on womp-rats wasn’t a life for anyone, especially people as young as these.

”Hello.” Kemoth called out loud enough for the boy to hear. ”There is no need to be afraid. I am Kemoth of Asteria, a master of the Knights of Commenor. I have come to retrieve you from this world, and take you to safety and freedom. Tell me, what is your name?” Kemoth said, hoping that the boy wouldn’t be too scared. She didn’t rise from her seat on the Force barrier, yet. She would wait for that.

The future of these children was in Kemoth’s hands. Who and what they became, however, was not entirely in her hands. Not with their past. It would alter them, but there was always a chance that they would not suffer too much from what they went through.
