- Layered Defenses: Built onto the platform of a sophisticated Power Armor Liner are a number of additional armor systems. A shell of thin Plastoid plates attaches to anchor points already built into the Second Skin system which is equipped first. Then the User dawns a "Tactical Jumpsuit" made of Armorweave fabrics. Next comes the hardware reinforced with shaped Plasteel and Durasteel Plating including the Helmet, Cuirass, Pauldrons, Guantlets, and Grieves which incorporate knee guards and boots. Finally an Armorweave Cloak completes the Heavy Operator Armor.
- Environmental Protection: With an atmospheric sealed Bodysuit, a one hour "air" supply via it's Breath Mask, and a Transpirator to filter hostile environments as well as thermal insulation for both the User and key internal systems all combined to make the V.I. Heavy Operator Armor a reliable system in nearly any environment, even limited exposure to the void of space.
- Disruption Resistant: Sonic Nullifiers, Photo-reactive Transparisteel Lenses, Filtering systems, a Combat De-Ionizer, and Radiation resistant metals within the Bodysuit, all help protect the User from most debilitating weaponry designed to overwhelm a targets senses and nervous system. Flash Bangs, Gas and Smoke systems, Sonic weaponry, and even most forms of radiation are unlikely to distract or incapacitate them.
- Hypervigilance: Built-in equipment includes Night Vision and Thermal Vision systems, Variable Zoom functions, a Multi-Frequency Targeting and Acquisition System, a Multi-Spectral Target Assessor, a Lifeform Scanner, a Sonar Mapping system, a Motion Sensor Suite, a Range Finder, Audio and Visual Recorders, and an Encrypted Comm-link system. There is very little the V.I. Heavy Operator Armor cannot detect and target, alerting not only the User to potentially threats, but any system their comms are linked with.
- Powered Armor: Incorporating a full body network of synthetic muscle fibers, magnifying the User's physical abilities far beyond the norm, a highly advanced spectrum of software packages and sensor systems amplifying the User's Battlefield awareness and capabilities, as well as two separate Mobility assistance systems, and the ability to incorporate weapons directly into the Armor. The V.I. Heavy Operator Armor has everything a modern power armor system could desire.
- Over Engineered: The self healing systems built into the Bodysuit do not truly repair damage. It will save a User's life while in toxic atmospheres and even the void of space, but does nothing to repair the Exterior Armor Plating nor the numerous systems beneath the Armorweave layer of the Bodysuit. Synthetic Muscle fiber networks, sensors packages, life support systems and more all require extensive knowledge and the appropriate facilities to repair properly.
- Data Overload: The sheer volume of information available to the User of the V.I. Heavy Operator Armor cannot be understated. From a simple Range Finder to Multiple Targeting Systems each providing different data alongside Mapping systems, Motion Trackers and more, all combined into a dizzying amount of information at the User's disposal. The V.I. Heavy Operator Armor simply cannot be used to it's full effects without extensive training. Navigating Vision systems, Zoom functions, Targeting data, and operating the system in unison with multiple mobility assistance systems along side any weapons linked to the Armor, and doing so effectively, is not something most can even begin to manage without practice.
- Powerless: Despite the presence of two Combat De-Ionizers, one intended to keep vital systems in the Bodysuit working with the other aiding the Spector Series Jump Pack specifically, the V.I. Heavy Operator Armor can be severely hampered by Ion interference. Targeting and sensor systems, synthetic muscle systems, the ODM system, and any on board weapons are not just important, but essential to what makes this armor impressive. Without replacing the power source, a task not easily done in an active combat zone, to restore these extra enhancements the system is rather simplistic Heavy Armor.
The V.I. Heavy Operator Armor was designed exclusively for Mercenary Forces and Clone Commandos serving as the private military of Vrotoa Industries. These soldiers are not the typical rank and file, but instead often behave as elite strike teams. Most Militaries would classify these soldiers as "Tier One Operators", intended for infiltration or shock and awe tactics, traveling into enemy territory or hopeless situations to preform their violent work by any means necessary. To help ensure the success of these dangerous operations, the V.I. Heavy Operator Armor emphasizes resilience and speed with layered defenses and a mixture of mobility assistance systems.
Upon the platform of the V.I. Second Skin Armor System, a highly sophisticated Power Armor Liner which incorporates not only life support systems, but also a full body network of synthetic muscle fibers which amplifies a User's physical strength and speed, as well as a massive network of sensors and targeting systems, all wrapped in a bodyglove of Armorweave are numerous layers of additional defense. Plastoid plates are connected to mounts already present in the Power Armor Liner, specifically covering the User's thighs, groin, torso, and upper arms with additional armor. Next, a specially tailored "Tactical Jumpsuit" in the form of cargo pants and a jacket which are woven from Armorweave fabrics covers the reinforced Second Skin Armor. These Jumpsuits are available in several color and pattern choices intended to aid in camouflage.
From there the best protection in the Armor system is added. The Helmet, Cuirass, Pauldrons, Guantlets, and Grieves are all built on a superstructure of shaped Plasteel specifically molded to move as naturally as possible with the User's body, and further reinforced with Durasteel armor plating. Built into each Guantlet is a Wrist Mount compatible with most modern forms of Wrist weapons from Flame Throwers to Blasters and Rockets, and more. Included into the Grieves which also incorporate knee guards, are Magno-grip enabled Boots. This exterior layer of Armor also is available in multiple color and pattern options for the purpose of camouflage. Then, the back of the User's Cuirass is fitted with a V.I. Spector Series Jump Pack high on their shoulder blades while the Omnidirectional Mobility Systems is attached to the lower back and hips. Finally, all this is topped with an Armorweave Half-Cloak, which naturally comes in a variety of colors and patterns.
All told, the V.I. Heavy Operator Armor provides the User with a superior battlefield awareness, excellent mobility options, and is designed to withstand the dangers of close combat. From the muted black pattern so typical of Special Operations to Arctic, Desert, Jungle, and other options in conjunction with the survivability of the Second Skin Armor System allows the User to thrive in nearly any environment. Utilizing the Jump Pack in unison with the Omnidirectional Mobility System gives the User unparalleled control over when and where they engage targets. As a final detail of customisation, the Armor can be outfitted with an array of pouches and holsters to carry secondary weapons such as pistols, knives, and grenades, or additional equipment such as Ammunition reserves, medical equipment, or small electronics to aid in bypassing security systems. Unfortunately, these are relatively restricted to whatever the User can attach to their Breastplate and thighs typical.
