Wake Up

Soliael looked at her for a moment then scooted up in the bed. He let his hands fall on her hips and slowly he slid her up the bed. A tad embarrassing for her perhaps, but he knew that she wasn't doing too well, especially after being drained so much by him.

The tray ended up by her feet, which made him grin slightly.

“As long as you still let me in.” Soliael told her as he moved the tray to once again sit over her lap. He didn't need the food now, she had provided him with enough sustenance to survive for an entire week. The soup, bread, and eggs were all hers, though she had to be careful in eating all of them. “Start slow.”

He told her.

If she got sick again they only had so many beds to move to.

"I don't think there is a lack of space in the bed here, Sparky," Kira would say a bit wryly, giving only a small hitch of breath in surprise as he'd help her slide up. Poofy pillows were her headboard, and she managed to not spill anything in the ruckus of it all.

Granted he did all the work but she would like to think that she took part on it by not knocking her feet against the tray.

Her face would flush a bit, revealing that yes, despite the pint or two he took she still had plenty left over. The Lorrdian wasn't used to being watched over like this, much the less cared for with such attention.

"I'll be fine," she'd mewl out, brushing her bangs off of her face. Another growl came rumbling from her belly, which only led to a sheepish grin. At the least the tremble in her hands had begun to wane, so she had a firmer grasp on the glass of water she brought to her lips. Slow sips. Right.

Well that's much harder to do when one feels dehydrated.

Soliael watched her for a few more seconds. She brought the water up to her lips, her hands still shaking somewhat as she took her drink. It concerned him, but he knew that she likely was trying her very best not to mess up in some way. He smiled at her, moving his hand up for a few seconds and running it over the stubble on his head.

He let out a sight, and let his hand droop over his face, hiding a goofy grin on his face as he thought about her spilling the food.

It was then that he noticed the blood that peeled from his chin. Dried crimson that had been there since he fed, that was still staring her in the face as a reminder, even when she was trying to eat. Suddenly Soliael felt embarrassed again, a feeling that was foreign to him, one that he disliked.

For a moment more he watched her, and then he slid off of the bed.

“You eat, I'm going to clean some of this off.” He made a motion towards the blood on him. This way at least she would have privacy to eat, and maybe gather some of her thoughts.

Steady, girl. Steady…

That was Kira’s little mental chant to make sure she didn’t spill her water. Thankfully, the slow time and care she took paid off. Mental fist pump!

Well she was certainly starting to feel a bit better, if she was starting to think in loopy jokes. Glass still held to her lips, Kira would catch the fleeting expression of embarrassment over his face, blending in the bits of dried blood still smeared over his jaw.

It was why she’d told him she had something on his face.

Granted, she hadn’t meant to for him to feel self conscious about it. So before he turned away…The glass made a small sound as she set it down upon the tray, the water sloshing a bit inside it’s container.

One small cold hand would extend to reach for his, wrapping round to get his attention.

“Hey… it’s okay.” Kira would tell him softly. “Don’t worry about it.”

She wanted to impart that it was fine, that he didn't need to be embarrassed. The fact he was standing in front of her with renewed vitality was a notch in her book, and that was all she was concerned about.

Soliael waited for a few moments, her hand wrapped around his palm, a tiny little claw clamping down on him. He smiled at her, turning slightly and giving her hand a squeeze.

“Well, we wouldn't want you to throw up again.” Soliael said before giving her the biggest, shit eating grin and turning around to head towards his shower. The implication of his words were of course, that they would be kissing again very soon, and that it had been the taste of blood that had caused her to spew bile. As he wandered over towards the shower he smiled to himself.

He made his way to the freshers quickly, not bothering to close the door behind him.

Only a few seconds later hot steam began to pour from the room, the scent of metallic copper mixed with steam wafted into the room as Soliael slowly began to wash himself.

"Huh?" Kira had a slight expression of bewilderment, watching him stride away with his purposeful gait, the slight limp an endearing sight. Well yeah, she did throw up. Heat rose to twin spots of rose color on her cheeks, flushing with her own sense of embarrassment.

"Yeah... well...wash behind the ears!" came her parting quip intended to divert her embarrassment. Unlikely he heard it, but it filled the space between.

Tired blue eyes would fall to the soup on her tray. A deep exhale would drop her shoulders, and the weariness she'd hidden along with her own confusion gave way over her face. Being a Lorrdian meant one could essentially train themselves to hide their emotions when absolutely necessary, but it was especially harder for Kira as her heart normally was on her sleeve. Being a Jedi Investigator and the Master of Shadows allowed her train that ability when she needed to play a role, but beyond that there was no reason to.

Taking a breath, her hand would move to take the silver spoon into the shell of her palm. She was so hungry, but even she knew how it could quickly all come back up if she ate too fast. She first learned that lesson the hard way her first day at the Jedi Temple. Granted, a hungry street-rat of child would stuff their face if given the opportunity. An upset stomach and the loss of her dinner had been her due.

Slowly, she'd scoop a tablespoon of soup. Bringing it to her lips, she'd blow on it, the steam scattering for a moment. In it went, and Kira couldn't help the small sigh of satisfaction. Food, definitely her guilty pleasure.

Time would pass as the blonde Jedi would slowly eat her fill, every spoonful and bite of bread settling her stomach and giving her a renewed sense of vigor. All the while, she would try to make sense of the wandering thoughts in her head. What they meant and what exactly that placed her in. At the very least, she knew well that she was in no position to walk out and head off to the Jedi Order again. Not now.

But she did need to at the very least contact Grand Master Carn Dista.

Soliael returned to Kira wearing only a thick fluffy white towel. His body was covered in more scars and open wounds, and the injury on his thigh was hidden by the fabric, still it was easy to tell that the blood she had so kindly donated to him had helped tremendously in healing. His limping gait, though still strong and confident, was slightly endearing, the slower movements making him seem more vulnerable, easier to relate too that the tall and proud False God that he normally was.

He came back to her, sitting on the edge of the bed to observe that she had eaten both bread and soup, though only from one bowl of course. She would get heartier food later, right now her stomach could simply not yet be trusted.

Water still dribbled down him slightly, crossing his well toned muscles as he looked at her.

Noticeably, he had decided not to shave either his face of hair again, something one would expect after so long a time without doing either.

“I didn't even fall.” Soliael said to her with a grin.

That was their first big experience together, him barging in on her in a shower just long enough to cause her to tumble over and spark a chain of events that ended up with both of them naked in the snow. Odd how that seemed so long ago now, when in reality it had only been a short few hours.

“Oh is that right?” Kira would say in turn, popping her own piece into her mouth for a quick chew. “Maybe it’s because I saved your dignity by preventing this rather spunky blonde from bursting and interrupting you.” she’d say with a quip. Subsequently, for his banter, Soliael found himself subject to the pelting of a piece of bread aimed for his face.

“And clearly… yours had the hot water.” she would add, a snort of humor coming from her. “Stingy.” her nose would crinkle in the same mirror of mischievousness.

“I’m telling you.. you should invest in sonic showers. Get the job done quick and easy,” blonde brows would hide among the fringe of her bangs as she waggled them once. “And no slipping involved.”

It was with a measure of relief that she could see that he was indeed looking well. A bit rough around the edges maybe, still had a limp but she figured that was going to take a while to heal through. Even with the Force, there wasn’t a way to heal him any faster -- not without a specialized healer. And I ain’t one of them..

“Going for the scruffy looking nerf herder look now?” she’d toss back, motioning at the dark shadow over his jaw. Two days worth of growth now rested there.

Not that she was complaining.

The bread hit him square in the face and he frowned slightly, choosing not to react but instead appear a statue for a few moments. His eyes narrowed, and evil thought growing within his mind. He took on a very calm facade, then slowly began his plan of attack.

“Yes, but it so much less relaxing.” He said it as he moved the tray of food away from her and onto the floor besides her. “I'll show you later.”

He grinned at her, then suddenly jumped on top of her.

“Well, it has its benefits.” Soliael began to rub his stubble all over her face, taking careful measure not to harm her fragile body, but still being somewhat rough with the slight stubble ran came from his skin. He began to tickle her, using only the hair on his chin and head.

Kira Talith

It was there.

Oh he was up to something. Had to be. It was there right in his eyes as he took the tray to set it aside.

It didn't take long before he attacked!

A small yelp came from her mouth, turning into a squeal of laughter and giggles as the rough rasp of his scruff would slide across her cheek and neck. Her hands would playfully beat and push at his torso, but the lingering beads of water would make her hands slippery, causing them to slide over the ripples of of scars and sinewy muscles.

It was a bit more difficult to avoid his attack, seeing as she was under the blankets and that only made it so her squirming attempts would tangle her further. Laughter would bubble, the contrasting sensation of the soft bristle over his head to that of the rasp of his jaw sending ticklish shivers down her spine.

“Haha!” she’d laugh, her hands sliding up to try and grab at his face, aiming for his cheeks. Another fit of giggles, the warmth of her breath blowing against him.

“You’ll pay for that!” she’d say in a threat, although it wasn't much of one with her squirming to avoid his face.

"Oh? Whose gonna make me?" His scruff scraped up against her skin again and again, her face, her neck, her shoulders.

Anywhere that Soliael could reach was fair game, though her face was the easiest, even with her hands desperately trying to keep him away. Thankfully however, she was tired, while he was nearer to his top. His grin widened suddenly as his arms came up to knock her hands away from his face. He gently sent her appendages flailing up above her and then dug his face deep into her neck.

Giggles and laughter would surge through her as stubble rushed across sensitive skin.

A chuckling cackle escaped his own lips, and he grinned.

One last scritch of his stubble down the side of her neck and throat, his head stopping when he reached her clavicle. There he planted a small, soft kiss, and came to a rest on top of her, squishing the tiny Jedi Master ever so slightly.

“Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!” came Kira’s melodic laugh, her hands slipping from his face to beat at his shoulders -- only to find themselves pinned over her head into the sinking pillows.

“Hey that’s not --” another squirm and surge of giggles. “.. fair!” in the struggle, the blankets would slide down, baring the smooth expanse of her upper chest while preserving her modesty. Purple blooms on her shoulders were melting into olive yellow marks. Not as fast as a Garhoon, but at least were starting to fade.

“Omph!” came her breath, his heavy weight coming on top of her just as she felt the rasp of his chin over her neck one last time. It contrasted heavily with the soft warm press of his lips against her clavicle. One that sent tiny shivers and a rise of goosebumps down her arms and spine.

“Just… you wait.” Exertion would quicken her breathing, her face upturned to his hovering own. “When you least expect it, kiddo.” The right corner of her mouth would quirk, ignoring the faint skipping of her heartbeat in that rush of tingling excitement. It was just the tickling. That’s all.

At least, that’s what she told herself as she found herself breathless.

He grinned at her.

“You sure about that?” His head tilted down, lips planting softly in the same place as before. “I think I can make you forget.”

Slowly, Soliael bent his head down again, kissing his way up Kira's collar bone. He would space his kisses only a few millimeters apart, making his way up to her neck with soft lips pressed against skin. The stubble on his face scritched against her, but the powerful contrast of his lips would likely give a very different sensation than it had just seconds before.

Soliael made his way up her collarbone and to her neck, the exact spot where he had earlier bitten. He kissed the spot, and knowing it would be slightly more sensitive, gave it a hint of extra attention. Then he passed his lips up her neck and passed her jawline, kissing her cheek until eventually, he reached her lips.

He was right. He was able to make her forget.

At least, at that present time as she would suck in a startled breath of air through her mouth. It was rather alarming, and Kira in her state forgot how to breathe. She felt hot and cold at the same time. The rough brush of bristle and the softness of kisses akin to tiny butterfly wings trailing a warm path up and over the curve of her neck where the fresh scars lay.

Therein came a sharp hiss.

It was like her body was not her own. Shivers would dart into newly awakened venues, over the hills and plains of a highly sensitized Lorrdian female. Yup, those butterflies were at full swing. Pesky things that would prompt a charge of an electric rush over those goosebumps before coiling low in her belly.

More squirming.

One couldn’t fault her, heady with exhaustion and the loss of blood certainly could have been at fault for her reaction. However, a more experienced observer would survey the results of quickening arousal; the new flush over her skin, the fluttering heartbeat at her neck, and once he’d end his trail, the darkening of her eyes into a deep sapphire blue.

In that gaze would hold a healthy amount of confusion, perhaps even a bit of fear. Not of Soliael but more in the growing discovering of what she was feeling. Legs would shift against each other as she’d squirm, and Kira would try to find words to joke with. Think Kira! Think! Humor was her sanctuary, but it failed her at the present time.

Instead it came out as a very comical and frustrated reminder to breathe as she sucked in a lungful of air.

Plus a squeak right against his lips.

Soliael noticed.

Oh noticed.

It was hard not to. Kira was normally a very expressive woman, her face, her skin, her entire body told tales of what was going on in her head. Every moved she made, every flick of the wrist, ever twitch of the eye, every little squirming motion was a tell, and right now, she screamed at him. Soliael could feel it, feel her react, feel her fall deeper and deeper, sense that she was plummeting into an abyss.

She assailed his senses.

His head began to spin with the smell of her, nostrils flaring slightly as he took in what she was feeling. His ears perked slightly as she gasped and struggled for breath, her squeak, almost inaudible to others would be like a thunder clap to him.

A thunderclap that made him grin from ear to ear.

She overwhelmed him plain and simple. Everything about her, the sound, the feel, the smell, it came into Soliael like a crashing wave of desire, both his own, and hers. Breath drew past his lips, a deep sucking of oxygen. Her chest rose, pressing against him slightly through the tick covers. His hand shot up, cupping her chin, and then he kissed her again.

A deep passionate kiss that would be enough to steal the breath from her lungs.

Times like these, one would likely only remember snapshots of it all. At least, that is what Kira would remember.

Like the way his hand would cradle her chin, up tilting as he would claim her mouth and the awkward attempt that would follow from the Lorrdian as he would kiss her senseless. Lips half parted in a gasp that he’d use to slip in and passionately claim, caress, and tease her.. coaxing her to respond.

She was inexperienced. It would show. However, Soliael would soothe her past the nose bumps, beyond the perplexity on what to do with her mouth, and her shy reluctance to meet the stroke of his tongue with her own.

Yet she more than enough made it up in sheer response.

The rush of heat that went waterfalling from head to toe in awakening desire, nostrils flaring as she’d exhale from her nose, finally realizing she could do so that way. Lids would lower to half mast, and her heart would thunder so loud in her ears that she was sure he’d be able to hear it. Fingers would twitch, curling and uncurling into tiny fists as if unsure what exactly to do.

Arms would start to tug at his grasp, needing somewhere to go, anywhere really. Legs would shift as she’d give another squirm, half unsure if to pull away or to drive her closer. A small whimper came curling from the back of her throat only to be muffled by his mouth as she moved them awkwardly under his own.

He pressed himself against her, through the thick of the covers and the weight of the blankets Soliael pushed into Kira.

His tongue flicked and massaged her own, teasing, coaxing her to follow his lead. As the first flick of her tongue passed into his mouth a smile broadened his lips. He pushed back into her with renewed vigor, instructing, teaching, persuading her wordlessly to give more of what he had already taken. They kissed vigorously, Soliaels hand falling from her chin and trailing down her body.

Soft finger pads traced down her front, then side, sliding beneath and up a raised back. He pulled her into him, free hand snaking to the back of her neck.

Locks of golden blonde hair twisted and curled around fingers, tightening as hand well on the supple skin on the back of her neck.

There was just far too many sensations to really make sense of them all. To new and far too many all at once. What was she doing? Was she really doing this? Was he really…

Yep, he was. And to be frank, while alarm ran down her spine, she didn't quite mind it. Was she dreaming? If so this was a heck of a dream. Maybe she was still knocked out in the caverns. Maybe this was all just a really odd fantasy brought on by the sudden lack of hormones because she wasn't a complete woman anymore.

Maybe this was just some random side effect of the meld. Was this really her? Or maybe this was just a memory of his? That could be it --

If that was it then just why am I in this?

Hot. Cold. Don’t. Exhale. Shift. Sigh. Bruised lips. Stop. Breathe girl. Remember to breathe. Right. Inhale. The touch of a hand. The press of lips. The stubble of his cheeks. Tightening of her hair. Sweet pressure. Ohhh! Don’t. More squirming. Butterflies. Stop. So many butterflies. Right there! Just a dream. That’s fine. Right? Right?! Another whimper. Falling, falling, falling. Just breathe. Don't. Stop.

Don’t stop.

But he did.

After what seemed like age of bliss, Soliael finally stopped.

He didn't pull away from her, didn't suddenly back away or move, instead he simply fell to the side. Their lips left one another, leaving them both feeling somewhat empty. His face backed away from hears for only a few moments. The gentle arm that had held her so close to him pulled her with, landing them both on their sides half wrapped in thick blankets.

His hand still rested on her neck, golden locks curled around fingers, his arm still snaked around her, hand resting on her hips.

Her chest was still tightly pressed against her own.

Suddenly a grin broke out across his face, Bright orange eyes looking at her as he let out a heavy, nearly ragged breath.

Kira hadn't been the only one who'd forgotten.

His grin slowly turned into a smile, one that reached out and pecked Kira on the nose.

What. Just. Happened?!

There Kira lay, wrapped round Soliael's arms as her breath and heartbeat tried to find a level to function at. However, that wasn't working very well.

Nope. Especially when reality dawned and embarrassment flared hotly over her face. So much so that she didn't even respond to the bloop flick on her nose. Instead, she buried her face against a fist full of blankets.

Then proceeded to knee his good leg hard once.

By the FORCE was he so going to pay for that!
