That impish gleam shone in Kira's bright blue eyes then.

"Won't we need to first send off Cee Two?" she teased him, moving ahead of him. "Or are you already doing that?" that would be him, showing off from the get go that he could do both things at once. Soliael was powerful in the Force, Kira knew this well. Far more than she would ever be able to reach by her own reckoning. That was okay though. He was a product of his linage, and while his strength in the Force was certainly attractive - the things they could do, hehehe - it wasn't the primary characteristic or quality she loved about him.

Moving to a more silent means through gestures - Kira was terrible with all forms of telepathy - the pair would move stealthily through the jungle. Once they drew nearer towards the area where the mouth of the cavern was situated, Kira gave a small pause. She scanned the area, searching for hostiles. There were five around here. She could personally stealth herself in the force to avoid detection.

But how was Sol going to do this?

Heh, while that added a bit of a risky element, it certainly made this all the more entertaining.

Soliael shook his head. "He's for when we strike."

The distraction wasn't necessary for when they sneaked in, at least it shouldn't have been. Cee Two would be for when they actually wanted to attack and take down the pirates. He doubted that the droid would last every long once the Pirates actually understood what he was. The droid was a momentary distraction, and if Kira and Soliael sent him in while they were sneaking around...well one of the pirates was bound to ask the quesiton of where the droid had actually come from.

That was something they didn't need.

"He'll do fine on his own until we're ready." Soliael said as he walked by Kira, his fingers coming down in a pinch of her rear. "Come on."

They didn't exactly have a time limit on this, but Soliael figured the faster they got it done the better it would be, specifically since he had no idea when the pirates would be getting their friends. It would be rather awkward if the two Talith's were sneaking around the camp and suddenly a great big search light was thrown on the clearing.

It was normal to smack at Soliael’s hand when he decided to get handsy. Granted, it wasn’t genuine in the sense of true insult. The expression of mock affront upon her heartshaped face was enough to tell that.

Pushing aside a broad green fern leaf, Kira took a closer look. Okay, from here she should be able to bend-light and cloak herself to get inside. How Devin was going to get there first - or more aptly follow - was a curiousity that piqued her interest. Then again, he always had some interesting tricks up his proverbial sleeve.

“Don’t get caught,” she whispered to him briefly, before she brushed his lips in a quick kiss.

“For good luck!”

With that, the Force surged within the Lorrdian, whirlwinding around her. Then, she was gone.

He mulled for a second more.

Shifting towards where they were going to go was out of the question, that would most certainly give them away, and running after Kira? Well he'd lose that in a heartbeat. Truthfully he had absolutely no idea what he was going to do, but then again he had spent half of his life that way. His lips thinned for a moment and he took a step forward, his eyes searching the lights in the distance.

Suddenly he realized one was moving fast...and towards him.

"Oh." Soliael said suddenly. "Poodoo"

"STOP RIGHT THERE!"

The sound of half a dozen blasters powering up echoed out in the clearing just a minute after Kira disappeared.

Oh you have got to be kidding me!

That spotlight seemed to zoom in right at her husband, and for that moment, Kira slightly panicked. Well, this, just got interesting. What to do, what to do?

She had barely made it a few meters from Sol when everything turned to hell. What would he do? She wondered. Her husband was easily someone who was able to take care of himself, but Kira struggled with the thought of what would be the decision that would give the least likelyhood of blood shed.

Turning up towards the spotlight, Kira had an idea.

Holding her hand out towards it, she sent a charge of the Force right at it. Within the next second, the lightbulb cracked and the spotlight was gone.

[member="Kira Talith"]

The light cracked, though Soliael had already found his way out...or rather, up. The gunship that had found him within the clearing was the same make as the one that sat in the cave. He knew that it wasn't the same one, so that could only mean one thing, reinforcements had come.

The moment that the light cracked and broke Soliael released a burst of the force.

Reality broke and warped, changed and shifted, it tore the air asunder and within an instant Soliael was gone. There was a series of startled cries and yells, the sound of a single blaster going off as one of the less trained pirates shot his weapon in panic. It took an instant for Soliael to reappear, his crouching form perched on top of the the floating gunship. His bright orange eyes searched the clearing below, trying in vain to spot where his Wife had gone.

He frowned slightly, watching the pirates scramble and feeling the gunship shake below him.

"This didn't go as planned." Soliael said to himself as his fingers dug into the metal hull of the ship.

Ohh, boy. This got super interesting, super quick.

Kira could still feel her husband, his emotions pouring into her to let her know that he was okay. The former Master of Shadows shot forward, all the Nine Hells breaking loose as shouts in broken basic cut the din. Fingers were pointed to scan the area, search for whatever that was that had suddenly appeared only to disappear.

So much for C2-10 being a distraction and doing this discretely. The entire outpost would soon be in an upheaval.

Oh, beans, where did he go?! Kira mused, searching for her husband. A pirate came stumbling her way, and she jerked back to avoid him. All of them were at the ready with their weapons, and a few of them clearly panicked. This was not good. Not good at all.

Aww dang it.

The roar of engines drew her attention to the floating gunship, and she barely caught sight of a shadow moving above it.

This guy, seriously!

Well.. at least he wasn't being shot at. They could still use this as a distraction to get in. Moving to the mouth of the cave, Kira saw about a dozen of those guards stream out of it. That left.. what.. half a dozen inside?

Those where good odds... right?

[member="Kira Talith"]

Soliael stood frozen atop the gunship. He really had all the options now. Were he not with Kira he probably would have simply destroyed the gunship from inside, crashed it into the clearing and killed everyone there...but that option wasn't open to him at the moment so instead he simply stood atop the hulking metal beast and thought.

There wasn't really anything to it.

"Huh." He said quietly as the gunship began to slowly buck to the left, his toes curling slightly as he used the force to pin himself to the hull. "Now what?"

Soliael asked himself.

Kira likely had a plan or two, though what that was he couldn't really tell. She had never been too good with telepathy, and if they needed to silently communicate it was usually through a glance or two, which was of course impossible now. Perhaps he would just wait for some sort of sign, then spring into action.

It was the easiest way.

Ideas. Ideas. Ideas….

Okay, what could they do? This was starting to get a bit more complicated than what Kira first expected it to turn out. Figures.

Unfortunately, that was when another spotlight went panning across the outpost. It came from the west side, the bright light shining across the various little bonfires and chaos on the ground up towards the gunship.

Kira managed to catch the silhouette of her husband just as another yell pointed gestures up towards him.

Beans!

One Nikto and Devoronian brought up their blaster rifles, fully intending to start sending a volley of blots up to Soliael.

Oh no, not while I’m here, Kira mused. So much for staying hidden. The Lorrdian appeared behind the duo, and with a slight, “Hey guys.” she shot her arms forward to touch them quickly at their backs - she was pretty short after all. The Force surged forward, paralyzing the two as they fell onto their knees with a loud thump.

Granted, this also now flagged the petite Jedi Master, as another cry pointed straight at her.

Here came the blasters.

[member="Kira Talith"]

Lovely.

His wife had never really been the most subtle creature when it came to combat, it just wasn't in her. She was stealthy, but when it came to actual fighting Kira was much more the...run and tackle type than the person who would take someone out without anyone else noticing. He supposed it was just who she was, but right no that presented a small problem, mainly the fact that she was no being shot at and that the gunship Soliael was standing on was spooling up it's own weapons to join it's brother pirates in their efforts to Murder his wife.

"Okay Honey, don't yell at me." His hand began to glow and odd pale blue, warping and biting his fingertips. "This is your fault."

Soliael shook his head, then whipped his hand to the side.

There was a sudden surge of sparks that ran through the gunship, a ball of energy, and then suddenly a pulse that tore from the engine.

An explosion erupted from the repulsor drive to the left side of Soliael, blasting out chunks of metal and setting fire to the left wing of the starcraft. Suddenly the gunship began to free-fall towards the ground, spinning over and over again as it began to crash.

Her husband. Her dear, sweet, loving husband. The father of her children. The man that fulfilled every want, desire, and need. Who loved her with all his life and every breath in his body. The man who had lived his life more than two decades with her and still felt as if they were still every bit in love as the first time that they discovered it.

Yes, this man, this wonderful man… had the most uncanny ability to show off. Sparks flew and flames shot from the ruined left wing. Smoke would billow in a black cloud, the gunship turning in a slow death spin straight to the ground.

Oh no…

Her bright blue eyes went wide, almost half bulging out of their sockets at the sight. It was coming down, and it was coming down fast.

The Pirates on the ground went scattering; the threat of a gunship coming down and crashing on top of them was a big incentive. Kira couldn't even stop it if she wanted, her telekinetic ability never went beyond an item her own weight.

In the end, she ended up just force pushing as many out from under the approaching, mangled piece of durasteel and electronics.

And diving for cover.

Soliael wondered for a brief moment if he had made a mistake, if perhaps he should have been slightly more subtle in the way that he took down the gunship. Eventually however he decided that his had been the correct decision and that doing anything else very likely would have ended up with his wife dead or injured...he would just have to make sure that the gunship didn't drop on top of her. His eyes scanned the clearing below, the ship falling rapidly.

His fingers twitched, and then suddenly he was gone again.

It took him half a second to reappear right in front of the ship itself, the vessel dropping directly towards the tree-line and towards where Kira and Soliael had parked their speeder.

A deep breath fell from his lungs, and then Soliael raised his palm. He didn't need to lift the vessel or stop it, he simply needed to redirect it's momentum so that it fell in another direction, preferably one that didn't see Kira or himself injured or dead. His hands came up, and then suddenly he tore them to the side. A powerful gust of wind, nearly gale force suddenly crushed from the right, the ship spinning and then being thrown directly towards the nearby ocean.

Easy.

The crash of the gunship made the earth tremble, a great splash upon the water that sent a surge of waves rippling across the surface of the water to the shore.

There were fires scattered about, chaos in the wake. Many of the pirates were yelling back and forth, confused in the chaos. What could be attacking them? Who? Was it another gang? Or something more sinister.

No, it was a married couple who utterly failed at being sneaky. Soliael was not winning this round at all.

Kira, rose from where she had ducked down, pushing off some of the debris that had fallen on top of her. A heavy groan erupted from her lips. She now had a red scratch right over her forehead, and she might have bruised an arm.

Her eyes grew wide, and she suddenly pushed herself up to her feet. Where was Sol? The chaos was enough that they weren't paying attention to her just yet. But that could change at any moment.

[member="Kira Talith"]

"AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

The charging Weequay screamed at him, lungs nearly bursting as the Vibroblade swiped through the air towards the former false god. Soliael let out a sigh, ducking beneath the blade and half sliding across the ground as he rounded on the Alien. The pirate immediately turned, swiping the blade forward once more in a vain attempt to kill the intruder.

Soliael's hand reached out, striking like a viper.

His fingers twisted around the Weequay's wrist, his hand grasping and then suddenly twisting in an instant. A loud snap rang out in the clearing, the Aliens battle cry turning into a wail of pain. A second later the former Sith drew the creature forward, raising his knee and slamming it into the mans stomach. There was a lurch, then a rush of air as the Weequay's breath was forced from his lungs. He hung there for a second before collapsing into a heap at Soliael's feet.

"Nice try." Soliael said kneeling down and patting the man's head.

He didn't have a war cry much like the Weequay, but he wasn't going to be deterred. Unfortunate that he also managed to capture the attention of the tiny blonde woman who caught him pointing a heavy blaster pistol at her husband back.

In proper Kira fashion, she uttered a, "Oh no you don't!"

That was the only warning he received, before feeling the entire Force enhanced body of the tiny Lorrdian strike at his side. There was some omph in that tackle; either that or it was the sheer surprise at the tiny slip of a thing coming at the Gand that had them both toppling down to the ground. The blaster bolt erupted from the barrel, but it flew wild, a darting green flash that flew into the sky. There were a series of grunts and yelps, Kira hitting the ground hard and a bit winded as she wrestled with the Gand.

By now, she'd have sent a good shock to stun the pirate, but he managed to nab her right on her chin with a good hook. She stumbled back, stars in the back of her eyes, and a good bruise that would likely appear in the next few hours.

"Owwww.." she barely managed to yelp out, before the pirate and she both saw the blaster that had clattered to the ground earlier.

In a rush, they both went right for it.

[member="Kira Talith"]

Soliael's fingers flexed, his hand tearing to the side as the Gand pirate that had been scrambling towards the blaster was sent flying across the clearing, eventually landing with a loud smack against the ground. A groan echoed from his voice modulator a second later, signalling that he was still alive, if rather injured.

The former false God rushed over to his wife. "Kira!'

He wasn't that worried, not really. For all the fun that he made Kira could more then handle herself in a fight, she was a Jedi Master after all. The chaos of the clearing and the pirates scrambling around were momentarily forgotten however, concern for his wife overtaking everything else. His hand's rushed to her, one settling on the small of her back and the other one slipping beneath her own as he pulled her two her feet, a small smile appearing on his lips as he saw that she was okay.

"Let's not get ourselves killed on the first leg of the trip." Soliael said with a smile. "It would put a damper on things."

That was an understatement.

Kira Talith

[member="Soliael Devin Talith"] always made her feel rather dainty. Hard not to considering he was almost a full half meter taller than her.

“I’m fine,” she told him, out of breath. She was covered in scratches, and leaves were sticking out of her hair. There would be some bruising under her robes, but all things considering, she was okay. Living and breathing. This was nothing compared to what had occurred on Contruum. That fight had almost seen her become one with the Force.

Not something that Soliael would be to keen on reliving.

Aware that they couldn’t stay long, she darted up a glance at her husband. “Come on!” she took his hand, blending into the Force to disappear. If they were going to go check things out inside of the cave, now was the time to do it. With the ensuing chaos, many of the pirates were in the throes of panic and confusion. Plus, having chucked the gunship out into the sea had an effect of scaring off a good chunk of them into the jungle.

The way Kira saw it, they had precious little time to get in, verify things, then get out.

[member="Kira Talith"]

Soliael had no doubt that in a few moments the Pirates would be able to gain their bearings and return to form, mostly because of their equipment. He doubted that none of them were equipped to take charge, doubted even more that they were a mindless rabble. Sure they wouldn't have military discipline, but at the very least they would have some form of organization, that much he was sure of. So his wife was right, now was the best time to check inside of the cave, especially since the flaming gunship was still taking much of the pirates attention.

The two of them rushed forward.

The cave, as expected, was mostly devoid of life, though one brave soul had managed to stay put to guard the entrance. The man was quickly dispatched with a simple snap of Soliael's wrist, his air cut off for just long enough to see him pass out and fall to the floor with a heavy thud.

Soliael and Kira rushed passed the unconscious man, stepping into the cave with a patter of feet. There was a momentary lull as their eyes got used to the increased light within the cavern, torches and flood lamps giving the edges of rock some illumination. Directly in front of them sat the second gunship, and all around were the crates that Soliael had earlier described to Kira. He frowned slightly, looking around himself as though here were trying to spot something important.

"Is this it?" He asked his wife, though in truth it was more rhetorical.

Kira shot a glance over to her husband, one that said, 'What do you mean 'is this it?'' After all, he'd been the one who was using the drone to get an idea of what was in this place to begin with. A scrunched up of her face along with the draw of her brows would relay her confusion.

In the end, she gave a half shrug and decided to simply move forward. They had precious little time to do what they needed to do. There were torches angled along the wall. Appearing into sight, the petite Jedi Master nabbed one for illumination. How strange to actually have to use torches for light.

So very primate.

Although to be honest, Kira didn't mind it much. There was something romantic about the flicker of flame -- clearly something to think about when they were not in the middle of a cavern with a high risk of getting blaster holes in their skins.

"Wait!" she hissed out at Sol, gesturing towards another entrance that went deeper into the cavern system. "Over here!"

[member="Kira Talith"]

It was important to remember that Soliael had not been able to look inside of the crates. For some odd reason he had thought that the actual contents of the cavern would be far more impressive when he actually saw them. He had simply expected...more. "Probably the way out."

Soliael said as they began to wander through the entrance.

The gunship wouldn't fit through the way they had come, so no doubt this was another exit that lead to a larger section of the cavern and eventually outside. The drones that he had sent in earlier had of course not come this way, not having the opportunity to do so. He frowned slightly as the lights grew dimmer, an odd chirping noise beginning to ring in his ears as they drew closer to the cavern. His eyes wandered towards the ceiling, spotting a host of bat-like creatures hanging there.

They did not move or shy away from the light of the torch that Kira carried, instead they simply watched the two Talith's, staring at them in silence.

"Creepy." Soliael said quietly, pressing on the small of his wife's back.
