"I..." Jin looked up seeing the gentle smile as the words faded from his head. "I'm always just myself." He said with a deflated tone. The kid got up from his chair while picking up the stacked pots that he used. "Maybe I've just never approached the right people before. Who knows?" He took his dishes over to the washer and placed them inside.

Jin came back to the island and leaned on it with his head resting atop both arms. Purple eyes with slightly wide slits looked up to Tirin. "Have you always found it easy to make friends?" The Catarri asked wondering. He felt like the answer was probably along the lines of a yes, there was that kind of feeling to Jin.

"Perhaps..." Tirin trailed off. "No, not always... Friendship requires a luxury I can't often afford. Trust. To have a friend is to trust someone enough to let them close to you. Unfortunately, most people will disappoint you more times than not," Tirin stated softly. "Try to find three really good friends. You need friends you can trust and a support system that you can confidently talk to. Make certain to ask them and be clear that the things you share with them remain between the two of you, unquestioned," Tirin offered gently.

Jin realised quickly he was wrong in the assumption he just had. Thinking honestly about what Master Tirin said it was kind of sad. "It might take a while, and I suppose three seems reasonable I guess." The kid lifted his head up and pushed back up still leaning against the island with his hands taking the weight. "If it helps any I will do my best not to disappoint you. Earning and keeping my masters trust is a job for the padawan anyway." Jin made that up but also said it genuinely. "So, what will we be doing today?" He asked with a little excitement to his tone. "I mean I assume we are doing something today given you woke me up so early."

"We'll be going to fetch you some things to make your room as pretty as you like. Anything you want to decorate or get to make your room comfortable. You may also get clothing you like and one special gift just for simple joy. And it will be difficult to disappoint me, little one, unless you actively and purposefully try to defy me and my wishes," Tirin stated softly.​
