We are the Brave, and we're not Afraid

Following him through the streets, and the places we went, he spoke that he would be the first to take me to a nightclub. I already knew why. I have dealt with the black market before. Almost every vagabond has. It's just I didn't have contacts, so everything that was supposed to be dirt cheep, was worth my life twenty times over. Still, I needed armor if we were to do something about it. Even simple armored robes would be better than nothing at the moment. Becoming someone's shadow was rather weird of me. I was a person who paved my own way, but if I couldn't get there alone, then I needed help. It seemed like this was my best option. SO I will use it as much as I can.

Walking into the Nightclub, I could clearly see, hear, and even smell the profanity and the whorish people who tramped around dressed like it was bedtime. There was alot of people here. And I wasn't liking it so far. I forced myself to deal with it, and moved on behind my new Master. As I continued, I got a slap on the hind end from some man. I turned around fast and slammed my open hand into the man's throat, and moved on like nothing happened. Fading into the crowd as Jaron began to talk to the man. I was behind him, and heard that he wanted to make sure I liked it.

He wanted me to have something I wanted. After Jaron's words, The Rodian motioned for me to follow him as he answered the Knight. Clearly a contact of his.

"Yes, As should all women get what they want."

He gave me a wink as I followed him. I turned around and waited a second for Jaron's reaction when I followed. He lead me around a few corners and to a room where wares of all sorts were being held. Grabbing my hand, he lead me to one side of the room rather roughly. he just waved his hand and walked off like it didn't matter. I gave him a dirty look behind his back as I massaged the wrist he grabbed for a second. Turning to look at some of the armors that were built for war, I looked at them. Seeing how someone would want to have the heavier armors. But what I needed was something light, yet protective. It took me about thirty minutes to make a final decision. Picking out a black set or robes with armor on them, a medieum set that would be more useful in battle, and finally a set of Smuggler's gear for more covert missions, or to simply blend in with. Armor wasn't so good to do that in, and Robes were obvious of force users.

I liked to stick out, but sometimes, I understood the use to blend in and to meld into the background. Or the use of a more heavier armor for protection. I knew it would tax on Jaron's credit deposit that he had, but I think he would agree that all would be equal of uses. I would just have to earn it back for him.... And that would not be done here. I would literally kill everyone here including him if I had to work here.

After walking back to Jaron now wearing the set or robes, I decided since I would be wearing these more often, I should get used to them. They fit nicely, and honestly, I felt... sexy. Very weird for me to think that, but as the clothes hugged my body, and showed a little bit of my chest off, as well as accented my female characteristics, I rather liked it. I also realized that I could use this to woo the more undisciplined men of the galaxy to do my bidding. if need be. Key words, if need be. However, I wouldn't dare try this against Jaron. That... that's just weird. And I doubt he would go after a girl like myself at the moment.

Either way, The Rodian came out with the other armor in a rather large bag, Zipped up, and sealed against the environments, I turned to the Rodian, and decided to try if something would work.

"Thank you darling. I hope that you don't hit Jaron with too much on his credits."

I gave the alien a nice peck on the side of his face, and started to walk towards Jaron with a little sway in my hips. Pulling my hood up over my head as I winked at him. Maybe that would help out with the costs of the armors? If it didn't it was worth a try.... and now I would have to sanitize my mouth.

"You didn't have to kiss him," Jaron said with a smirk as he handed Shawn a canteen from his belt. "But he gave me fifty percent off the merchandise, so that must have been some kiss."

Jaron pushed past all the rif raf in the club, and got out to the fresh air, well as fresh as the Coruscant underworld could be. The sky was always dark, stars hidden by the bright lights, or the clouds in the distance. This was the nature of the lower levels of the badlands. He could not imagine how anyone could live there, but there were those who had made their choice to be there. Jaron often wondered if she would turn up there, that pain still stung when his mind would allow it. For the most part though, that hurt was replaced by the excitement of something new.

"If there isn't anything else you need, it is time to get off this world and back to the Vindicator. I am supposed to check in soon, and if I am delayed, the supreme leader will not be pleased. However, he will be glad about the news another has joined the Knights of Ren. You will be my shadow for a time, but when you are ready, I will unleash on the Galaxy."

Jaron made his way back to the ship with his new apprentice. His mind was trying to figure out what all this meant, but some things were going to change, he knew that when he was made a knight. There was responsibility for another now, and that was new to Jaron. He'd cared mostly for himself all his life, with the brief time he'd let Sasha in. She was no longer there, and Jaron had been forced to move on. An apprentice... This was going to take some getting used to.

I smiled taking the canteen from Jaron. He told me I didn't need to do that. it wasn't necessary, but I felt like I would test out my feminine side. You know, Show off my curves in all the right places. Apparently it worked by him taking 50% off. Which worked in my favor. Meaning that if he needed some extra credits, or if I needed something important, then it could be done. It was a little nice to have extra. Trust me, you wanted extra credits when you were on the run. Unless you were the kind of person to just walk away from it and stole it. Nonetheless, I took a swig from the canteen and handed it back to him with a smile.

Shaking my head, I decided to answer both of his statements at the same time.

"Well, I decided that I wanted to try out something new, and it worked. So no judging. As well, I really don't feel like going on a Date with your boss at the moment. So lets get there as soon as we can. Don't want my new Master to get in trouble. Though, I doubt it would be anything more than a slap on the wrist if you brought me with you."

For a moment there, I thought Jaron looked almost nervous. Worried even. Was it his Supreme Leader? His boss? or his past? I didn't know, and I didn't think he wanted to talk about it. So I left him be. Let sleeping dogs lie as they say. His problem was his own for the moment. Should he share it, I would help him. It was my job now. If something went wrong, I was to be there, not just to train, but to be his backup. His support. Regardless, we walked back to the ship in silence. Hopefully I would be receiving training very soon. Possibly on the trip to the Vindicator.

Either way, it was turning out to be better for me to join him now.

I just didn't know how to thank him.
