Gherron’s smile continued to widen as he watched the interaction between the mothers and their sons. The whole family seemed to be coming together very nicely. In fact, watching the boys, he even wondered if they would have a similar bond to himself and Josh as they grew up. They already seemed damn near inseparable; only time could tell what would happen in the future. As Josh began cracking jokes one after the other, Gherron grinned and punched his shoulder firmly, yet playfully. ”Yes, yes, lots of good stories from the good ol’ days. Real shocker that girl took an interest in you after you’d found yourself someone else, eh?” Eager to get past that particular subject however, he spooned a small bit of ice cream and smiled as he made it fly around a little before feeding it to Articus. The little boy squealed in delight at the flying frozen treat, and smiled once the flavor hit his tongue. Gherron opened his mouth to say something then, when a sharply dressed man walked over and tapped him on the shoulder. ”Sir, there is a gentleman requesting your presence?” His first thought was, Geez, we’re not even in the manor! How the hell- And then he remembered that like his wife, he now counted as nobility. So wherever either of them went, it rarely went unnoticed. ”Um, of course, bring him over.” With a quick nod, the man motioned to another, after which a more commonly dressed man with some documents under his arm entered his field of view. ”Mr. Vael, if I may, I’ve discovered some information that you may find of great interest, involving your bloodline.” Gherron raised an eyebrow as he took the folder, looking at each person at the table in turn, as if expecting a prank. However, upon pulling the contents out of the folder, his eyes began to widen. ”Josh... look at this.” The first piece was an old article of a crash on Coruscant, around twenty years prior. It stated the survivors as Joshua and Nick DragonsFlame, with their parents dead and their brother James missing. The next was a series of transcripts from an orphanage, most notably one talking of taking in a young boy that looked just like the ‘missing’ poster from the article, and then that same boy being adopted months later. Gherron stares in silence then. Articus, who must have felt his distress, reached out for his father with a small whine. ”Josh, if what this is all saying is true... We’re brothers of the same blood.”
