t the same time, the fleet led by Carlyle Rausgeber had done the unthinkable, he had used his ships tractor beams to launch a huge asteroid at a shield gate. For a moment all Kyrel could do was marvel at the Admiral's resourcefulness and his ingenuity, but then quickly found his opening onto the planet, as the Asteroid collided with the shield gate, Kyrel spun the Interceptor zooming towards it, and firing shots at the monster. Destroying chunks, that separated and now the monster was now separate pieces falling towards the planet, fireballs already forming. Kyrel quickly followed after it, using the Asteroid pieces as cover while going through the shattered shield gate that allowed him to get through the opening and onto the planet, He grinned coldly at how excited he was for the mission, and let the craft blend in until he could see his target.

Hey buddy, I'm going to need you to back up a bit with the sequence of events, and give us time to respond to Carlyle's asteroid flinging and figure out how it affects us on our end. Thanks.

Alright here's a little update for the Ossus teams.

We've reached a point where we are 5 days into this invasion and the two sides are still prevented from interaction by this shield gate. Given the shorter length of invasions overall and that I've heard several people frustrated that they can't yet do the plans they'd made with other writers on each side, I've reached out to [member="Stephanie Swail"] who agreed with the issues raised.

We've decided that if FO characters wish to reach the surface of Ossus from this point on they may pass the gate in their posts with a plausible manner. This is not consent to destroy the gate and deploy huge ground forces but smaller strike teams of PCs and their escorts may cause temporary gaps to pass through in their posts. I'd recommend using the shield disruptors previously mentioned on FO transports to punch a quick gap through but feel free to get creative!

Thanks again to the SJO faction owner for understanding and sharing the issues involved now let's get to the meat, shall we?
