What are you?

Hunter readied himself to block as he felt the attack on his psyche. He then heard the voice of his master fill his head. This brought him to a place in his own head that was almost sacred to him as he listened to his master speak.

"Yes my lord...I know that I must do this."

And as he finished he felt it, wave after wave of emotions began to rack him as he pictured all the old haunting memories; The time he killed the unarmed family of a warlord, when he betrayed his entire squad, and the last was when he masacred his entire family.

As he let the pain wash over him he felt old scars open, but he let it happen and he opened his eyes no matter how hard as he braced against the attack, blocking both strikes before pushing off as hard as he could move his frame before kicking out with a frontal kick that was standard to those that knew martial training.

"Parlor tricks...I grew tired of those memories long ago..."

he said with a shaky voice.

Damien blocked the kick as it came his way, the strike hitting his palms before he used that added strength to pole vault into the air. Soaring over the man, Damien doubled the strength of his most crippling attack. One could fight the memories themselves, attempt to ignore them, but never had one been totally immune - save those few whom were Force dead.

The man was a good fighter, this was clear. Spinning quickly, the man brought his leg up in the form of a round house kick. The blow, if successful, would strike the man's temple and more then likely end the match. However this was not what Damien wanted, he hoped there would be that block, for then his follow up could be obtained. Despite the fact that it was not the main purpose behind the attack, the kick itself could still tear through concrete.

You did well in the wash of it, but his strength seems to increase. This strategy will not always work to prevent mental attacks, ignoring a wound does not heal it... however, saving it for later can put you into a mentality that prevents your wounds (in mind or body) from debilitating performance. Empty your head, clear it of everything, focus on physical contact alone. This will be difficult for you, your head has not mastered this level of redirection. Take the memories he brings and simply... forget. Stop thinking. Let loose your dogs... of waaaaaar.

The telepathic voice echoed slightly in the last word, as his appearance once again became disappearance.
