Someone who is damaged yet capable. Someone who knows what they want and aren't afraid to go after it (and are fully capable of going after it). Doesn't really matter what they want, so long as they pursue it unflinchingly. If the person isn't passionate, they are of no interest to Gabe. This passion doesn't have to be easily discernible, but it has to be there.
I guess it's pretty easy to tell that Jedi sorts of women don't really interest him.
