What force style should I take up?

All honesty, try them both. Yes it will be a bit longer and your char wont have a stable footing at first, but you can find the right path through Roleplays for your character and it allows you to explore different teachers and teaching styles... and Veino, how dare you not suggest before i have to....

In that case the Order of the Grey might be a place to start, since it's a neutral school where students can learn from both sides of the spectrum.

Light And dark are part of the Jedi and Sith' view of the Force. There are many paths to tread, in this case. Whatever you wind up doing, best of luck.

Also, I think the Wiches are under Mando control at the moment, so that's an option.

Shapers are growing, so if you want to you can, but I would recommend that you make a dedicated character to Kro Var. I was thinking on starting a minor faction of them so we had a place to go. (have a few places where we can work in peace.)

If you want a character as a shaper, I am your resident leader in that area since I have had three characters who are Shapers. As well I played a role in their creation a long while back when the board was first started.

The jensaarai one was shot down because the two other people I created it with left. And one was almost never there. It was only you and myself. I feel bad about that one.

The Shapers are a nice place to be since you can get a mix of force powers and shaping all in one. As I said, if you want to join, I would recommend that you have a dedicated character for it. If you want to talk, PM me.

Yeah, that was sad. But it's why I'm working on fleshing them out as an NPC organization. That way if someone else does come along and wants to write one, there's a framework in place so they don't have to build from the ground up.

I endorse the Shapers having been one of the original dedicated Kro Var (and the founder of its original minor faction [no longer exists ;n;]), and I endorse [member="Nickolas Imura"] as just a great guy in general.

But in honest opinion, I really wanna see a Mando Shaper. It would be so bad ass to see a mandalorian suddenly shift the ground beneath an enemies feet and curb stomp them or something like that (followed by a good shooting or two).

At the moment to the extent of my knowledge, yes. Veino, Jeela, and Roth. Of the others I know of, the characters are either dead, deleted, or in one case, with the Moross Crusade and hasn't logged on since August.
