Don't be ridiculous. The Sith's biggest problem, particularly the Sith HERE, has always been, and will always be, the Sith. Sociopaths don't make for good governance and when everyone puts personal ambition over the good of the faction, ICly AND OOCly, you will have failure every single time.

It has nothing to do with the Republic or Jedi. They are incidental to the process.
