"Well, free falling generally is in the air.. so yes." Damien said with a smile, then turned as they stopped, "If you want calm and cool, then we can just go to dinner. I want to make you happy that's all. Maybe I am just trying to hard." He said with a shrug, but he pointed behind him, "The restaurant is there. We could just eat, chat, then decide if we want to do something else."

"I suppose this is a bad time to tell you in deathly afraid of heights... "She chuckled than reached out and squeezed his hand."No, you took all the effort, I shall do it for you. I appreciate all you do Damien.."As if to back up her words, she would step in close, wrap her arms around him before leaning up and brushing her lips against his lightly." You sure know how to make a women feel wanted love."Was all she would murmur against his lips before stepping back and grinning at him.

Damien sighed into the kiss, enjoying the feeling before it was over. When she stepped back, he smiled, "No, I don't want to terrify you. We'll save that for some other time." He chuckled, "Besides it wasn't my only plans." Damien finished and began guiding her once more.

As they neared a large restaurant, he smiled, "This place has everything: drinks, wine, food, appetizers. They spend a fortune hustling everything here, but it always pays off." Stopping before the hostess, he simply nodded and said, "Two."

Despite the obvious elogance of the building, the moment it was known that he was the speaker, people rushed to assist them. One man led them toward the rear, where an obvious VIP section signaled, while another rushed to speak to Deneve about the history of the building.

All the while Damien smiled and nodded, but kept stealing looks at his woman.

She was used to places like this due to her upbringing so she knew how to play the interested patron. Nodding and making sounds of approval here and there, she would shoot him long searching looks every now and then before returning her attention to the male before her. A delighted smile danced across her features whilst she listened. It was only once he was finished speaking that her full attention was once more Directed on Damien."I wouldn't be terrified. You would be there. I trust you Damien.." And the truth was out, she trusted him. Not only did she trust him but she cared about him deeply.

"This is a lovely place. I'll have to remember it is here in the future." Speaking more to herself then anything, she would turn to study him. "How are you holding up Damien?"Ever mindful of his presence , she would reach out to touch his hand lightly, a soft sigh passing her lips at the contact. Who would of thought that she of all people would crave the touch of another as much as she craved his.

Damien shrugged down at her, "I'm great. I'm with you aren't I?" He smiled, then shooed the men away, pulling out a seat with a gesture for her to sit. A soft push placed her close to the table, then he sat next to her. A man came forward with a drink list, but Damien smiled, "Whiskey for myself. Surprise me. Your crew always does. And for you Deneve?" He asked with an arched brow.

Next came a man that attempted to place candles, more next with different sets of decor. Damien sighed, placing a hand over his eyes. Grabbing a man by the arm he brought him down close then whispered in his ear. The response was a minimal nod, upon which the man led the rest away save the waiter.

"Anything you want dear."

"Whiskey for me please.." A soft smile was given followed by her eyes sliding over the area then coming to rest on him once more. Watching him, her lips twitched in amusement as she watched him before clearing her throat."I've done some thinking and researching. I believe I can now with certainty tell you what it is I am feeling" This of course was spoken softly, her hand absently reaching up to play with the pendant that hung just above her heart.

Damien began to reply, but was cut off. A young woman came forth with menus for the two of them. She rattled off many different specialties, but Damien ignored her really. He simply continued gazing at Den. When she finished Damien handed back the unopened menu, "Krayt, rare, cheesy pasta, and a small baked potato."

When she had both orders and finally left, Damien once more opened his mouth, but again got cut off. The man returned, drinks with glasses in tow. The Ancient Sith felt his eyes begin to glow lavender as his anger rose, but he exhaled slowly through his nose, looking away in hopes she didn't see the change.

When he was calm, he poured them both an ample drink, before finally getting the chance to say, "And what is it you feel?"

[member="Deneve Verd"]

She knew him well enough to know when his anger was rising, in a blur, her arm shot out and grabbed the arm of the waiter before he left." Give us fifteen minutes before returning to the table please. It's hard to have a conversation when you keep interrupting. Also, thank you for being so attentive.."A dazzling smile followed her words before she once again returned her attention to him.

"From what I remember about my mother telling me before she died what we feel I feel is love. It only makes sense. I will not lie you are the only male other than my father I have ever been completely comfortable with. I crave your touch, like a dehydrated man craves water. When you are near, I feel at peace. It's not often that a connection like ours is made. But, it can happen. I stumbled upon my mothers journals. Her and my father had similar connection to what we have.."

Reaching across the table, she took hold his hand her thumb rubbing the back of his hand in a comforting manner, she hoped to ease any remaining anger he may have felt at those that kept interrupting them.

Damien stared, stunned into silence, at first the aggression shown - which he found sexy - then her words. It was amazing to hear the explanation, something he wondered about each moment they were apart since first meeting. But it also made him feel scared, as he didn't know what to do next...

"Marry me then. Seal the love we share. There is an ordained minister of this planets Gods here in this building." Damien said, the words coming so fast it was like a single multisyllabic word. At which point he cringed. Something like that seemed to occur only when around her. He said things without thinking them through, moved without planning. It was not like him.

He was never spontaneous.

Every move of his life was planned. Since he was a youth. Yet this was not in any way. She made him worry he would say something wrong, or move to fast. Both of which likely happened just then. It was done, their relationship was over... I could erase that memory, Damien thought to himself. His body responded with a burst of intense pain in his chest. He kept it hidden, but it still surprised him that even now his body moved of its own volition.

"Damien, you still think I'm going to just disappear don't you?"Those were the first words out of her mouth, she noticed his discomfort and addressed that first then it came to address the very important matter."Yes, let's get married after dinner.." She spoke softly yet was dead serious. She loved him and wanted to be by his side marrying him was the only logical step. Oh but, her fathers reaction would be lovely, she had gone for a vacation, stumbled upon Damien and decided that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him.

Reaching out, she gave his hand a loving squeeze, her fingers dancing over his skin in hopes to calm any unease he may of felt.
Watching him with an eerie intensity, she would study him to see if he regretted wanting to marry her that say.

Damien practically slumped with relief, "I don't know what you do to me, but... Gods above. I become an unorganised child around you. You make me flabbergasted." He said then smiled, squeezing her hand in return, "I love you babe. Sorry I'm so embarrassing." Damien said then took a large swallow from his glass. The liquid went down smooth, which made him pour another.

"That's really good." Damien said, "Remind me to ask the make."

Sitting more straight upward, he eyed the woman, "Do you think it is the Force that brought us together? Or chance?"

[member="Deneve Verd"]

"You're embarrassing ?"She seemed puzzled by his words. Then slightly amused at his actions and words. Reaching out, she brought her glass to her lips and downed the whiskey in one go. Setting the glass back down , she would take a few moments before speaking once move, her voice soft yet sure. "I believe it was a mixture of Both. And that is what makes it all the more amazing." Her thoughts voiced , she would bring his hand to her lips and place a light kiss upon the back of his hand.

"I don't know which it was but it is wonderful none the less." Damien said, then glanced to the side as a duo with covered platters approached cautiously, waving them over he called, "Apologies, I was having issues saying what I needed." They both smiled then sat the food down, uncovering his dishes.

Realizing finally that his fiance had not ordered food, he shrugged and gestured to the entrance of the building, "Outside there is a homeless man. Bring this to him, and this." Damien said then dropped a credit chip onto the nearest tray. It wasn't a fortune, but if played right it could allow a small upbringing.

When the confused women left, he smiled, "Didn't really need to eat anyway. Anzat only do so for the enjoyment of taste and to blend in."

The was one thing Deneve disliked above all else, people changing anything to better suit her. So it was for the briefest moments that annoyance danced within the depths of her hues. She couldn't be annoyed with him when he didn't know the reason for said annoyance."Dearest. You don't have to do things like that. Perhaps I wanted to watch you eat..?"She of course was just throwing something out there. "Don't change things set in motion for my benefit Damien. I am quite capable of adapting to my circumstances.."

She was a weird women at times, over time Damien would get to know all her weird quirks and hopefully come to appreciate them. Reaching across the table she would touch his hand lightly."My apologies, I should of told you I wasn't very hungry. That Whiskey took a lot out of me I'm afraid.."

Damien laughed aloud, "You wanted to watch me eat? We could arrange that later-" Realizing what his mouth said without his minds approval Damien blushed, an actual red hue spreading across his face. Fumbling now, he sighed, then stood, "Excuse me for a moment. I will be back."

At that he headed for the restroom.

[member="Deneve Verd"]

As endearing as that blush upon his flesh was, she actually sighed at his departure. It was clear he disliked being flustered at any point. So from now on she would keep comments that might fluster him to herself. Glancing around, she would actually take note of the surroundings before drifting into her own thoughts. Absently, flipping at knife between her fingers, she would hum softly. Her thoughts going over everything that has recently happened, the very good being him and the bad.

It was one thing to find spontaneity rearing its head in his life, and he had already given into it, nearly losing surprise upon its arrival in a situation. But he had felt the comment was well beyond much. It simply made his stomach clench, hence he needed to use the restroom. Like a schoolboy.

Returning to the table, he dried his wet hands on a napkin, "Sorry. So, let's get onto topics of light approach. Maybe like, what are your dreams? What do you see yourself doing in a few years?"

[member="Deneve Verd"]

"My life goals are, well that's a tough decision.. I am honestly torn. My father wants me to embrace my Mandalorian heritage... But, I'm not called towards that. Things he would find repulsive I find needed to achieve results. " Stopping mid flip of the knife, she would set the knife down then focus her attention of him. " I wish to continue learning. Knowledge is power. So I will gather as much as possible. " She gave him a soft smile, watching him intently. "Care to tell me what it is you wish to achieve?"

"I want a family, with children. But in order for that to be a safe endeavour I to want to guide my people to better the galaxy, bringing about peace." Damien said, utterly serious for the first time since they arrived, "An heir to take on my name, lessons, and maybe even my position of power should they live long enough. Also a daughter. I want a daughter." Damien said with a chuckle, once more returning to the goofyness that had infected him when around his fiance.

[member="Deneve Verd"]

[SIZE=11pt]"Daughters are good. I eventually want a family too. Children that I can be a better parent to then my father ever was to me.." It was no use trying to hide the bitterness that laced her words at the mention of her father. It would always be there when came to him. Taking a deep breath in an attempt to ease away the anger that suddenly reared its head. She would tap her nails against the table in a rhythmic manner.. Clearing her throat, she once again began speaking. "Peace.. It's a beautiful concept.. But to achieve it often time great sacrifices must be made.." [/SIZE]
