What I Am

[member="Spark Finn"]

His smile lingered.

For a second he thought about arguing back, thought about maybe saying something else or tickling her, but that didn't seem all that right. He watched her for a single second in silence, his thoughts drowning out the sound of the droid behind him. In truth he had completely forgotten about the thing, probably because it was simply so far from his mind in that moment.

"I'm not sure about that." He told her quietly, his lips pressing against hers one more time.

"I think." He said quietly. "You'll do exactly what I want."

Munin pressed a gentle kiss against her neck.

For a while, she didn't answer. She couldn't even move as his lips tickled against her neck. She couldn't help the little giggle that bubbled from her throat, though. Perhaps a little nervous. And #ticklish.

Fingers clearly meant for datapad typing wiggled against his grasp.

"I dunno," she whispered, thoughts thinking and worrying about the practical things. When was the last time she showered? Where was this going? What if he saw....all her freckles. #lolol

"But you are squishing my knee," she grinned but made no move to shake him off. #shakeitoff

He looked at her with a smile, his gaze quickly flicking up towards the bed for a moment, then down to the droid, then back at Spark. He considered everything for a moment. They were supposed to go in the hot tub still, he had missed their morning ritual after all but...

"Well." He began quietly. "We could..."

Munin frowned.

"Move somewhere more comfortable?" The information Broker himself wasn't quite sure what the underlying thought behind the question was. Maybe he just wanted to get under the blankets to cuddle, maybe he wanted a deeper kiss, maybe he wanted a little more.

In the end it would always be her choice.

Blue eyes beneath lopsided glass lenses followed his gaze. Heart was already thumping a bazillion #kajillion light years a standard minute against her ribs. Slowly, he released her wrists, then stood up. He made no move to pressure her.

For a moment, she just lay there, staring stupidly up at him.

"Okay," voice squeaked. She gave a mouse like nod that followed and finally regained feeling in her limbs, pushing herself up. She gave a self-conscious look around but they were more than alone. The droid beeped.

Kind of.

Gaze went to the R2 unit. "Go out and close the bedroom door." It warbled, domed head drifting between her and Munin, then complied.

Munin smiled.

He didn't really care what happened, he didn't really care what she was thinking other than hoping it was good. Slowly he stepped over to her, his hand wrapping around hers, fingers slowly lacing. His smile became a bit more broad as Spark moved just a little bit closer to him.

"Okay." He said back to her.

Was there anything else he could have said? Not really. He smiled again, and then slowly the two of them slipped into bed.

There was a razzle of beeps outside the bedroom door. A giggle escaped her throat as her bony-form shifted beneath the sheets and against Munin. Clothes were scattered across the floor, though Munin's were neatly folded on the bedside table.

Glasses were definitely lopsided on her freckled nose and blonde strands of hair lay slightly wild and tangled down her bare, bony shoulders. She was too scared to ask Munin anything. Too self-conscious. Too scared to catch his eyes.

"I think we should name the droid," she found her voice, focusing on something else. "What about shadow? For the gray on its dome?"

[member="Spark Finn"]

"I..." He trailed off for a moment, unsure of what he was supposed to answer with exactly.

He frowned for just a moment, then slowly rolled to face Spark. They had both been laying on their backs, but slowly he shifted so that he could look at her. Bringing up the droid was a bit odd, especially considering that the thing was the last subject on his mind, not after...well. His eyes slowly lowered, his hand shifting to lift the blanket for just a moment.

She would probably go read at that.

"Can't think..." He slowly scooted closer, kissing her as the blanket fell back onto both of them. "When I know you're next to me like that."

No droid, no apartment, no Red Codex or Information...nothing could drag him from the odd sort of bliss he was feeling.

[member="Munin"]

Pale, thin body definitely got pink about everywhere as Munin lifted the blanket. And he let in that slight chill. She shivered and pursed her thin lips but he nudged in closer. She kissed him back.

He saw her practically flat chest. #yupthatsright. Freckles that spotted her skin here and there and all her sharp angles limbs and curves. Course, she saw all of him too. Well, for the times when her eyes darted.

#heheawkwardness

Legs tangled with his. Bony hips knocked against him. Lips pulled back a bit. "I didn't give you all those bruises, did I?" There were some she noticed on his torso.

[member="Spark Finn"]

"Just most of them." He told her with a smile. Spark had a way of knocking about, moving around in her sleep, shifting the wrong way on the couch, doing one of a dozen things that ended up hitting Munin in some weird way, but he didn't really mind. His tolerance for Pain was far above and beyond what it had any right to be, probably another one of those quirks that had been put into him by whoever had conducted those experiments.

"Don't worry though." Munin told her with another gentle kiss. "They go away after a day or so."

Another hidden benefit.

He nuzzled her nose gently, hand slowly sliding over her skin as if he still couldn't quite believe what had happened.

[member="Munin"]

She smiled. His hand tickled. "That's a good thing," she mused quietly, her blues finding his, though, he was partially blurry with those lenses pushed down her face from...earlier. "Otherwise the authorities might take me in on abuse."

The authorities would obviously have other things to bring her in for like racketeering and slicing.

"Or your sister would beat me up," she frowned slightly at her own comment. She meant it as a joke but still. #omgee #wouldshe?!

A small gulp went down her throat. A snort of nervous laughter left her nose as her lips brushed across Munin's jaw.

[member="Spark Finn"]

He kissed her again. "You don't have anything to worry about."

She really didn't.

Munin didn't want her to ever be afraid of...well anything. They had each other, they had their apartment, they had...everything. He couldn't have asked for more. Slowly Munin wrapped his arms around her, pulling her tiny form nice and close against himself. He smiled at her.

"Well." He said suddenly. "Except for the fact that I might never let you leave this bed."

He kissed her again.

[member="Munin"]

She blinked up at him. "Is that so?" Thin-lips smiled. Gangly-form pressed against him. This time there were no pjs or swimsuit between them. Cold toes curled against Munin's legs.

Head turned as she settled into his chest.

#foreverblushing

"I dunno. We'd get hungry eventually. And smelly."

Eyes closed for a moment.

[member="Spark Finn"]

"Well you would." He told her quietly. "I didn't say anything about me leaving the bed."

Munin smiled again, his thumb slowly stroking over the small of her back.

Briefly he wondered if this was what it was like for other couples, if they had the same lengthy, almost turned journey that he and Spark had. He frowned for a moment as he considered it, though he quickly realized that he and Spark weren't exactly normal. Both of them were Orphans, both of them were raised in odd ways, and both of them had...unique aspects of them that might have made it difficult for anyone else to understand them.

He didn't believe in fate or destiny, but...this was pretty close he thought.

[member="Munin"]

"Hey," she murmured against him but most of the 'fight' was gone from her tone. "You'd get smelly too." Lips pressed briefly against his chest. Stomach grumbled against him.

Blue-eyes twitched open.

She felt safe against Munin - in this apartment. She hadn't felt this safe in so long. She'd never thought she'd be able to trust anyone or have this type of relationship again. Especially someone with blue eyes. #starchaserblues. But Munin proved her wrong. He hadn't left her. Or betrayed her. #notyet

She loved him.

Something she'd never thought would happen again.

"Okay. I need a snack," she squirmed against him.

[member="Spark Finn"]

He pinned her to his side.

"Oh?" Munin said with a wide grin. "Interesting."

His fingers wrapped around her, arms tugging her tight so she couldn't wiggle away from him. The grip wasn't serious of course, if she tried hard enough she could get out of bed, but his intent was clear. His eyes turned down to meets her. "That's going to cost you."

Munin said with a grin.

"You're supposed to be confined to this bed." His fingers tickled her sides slightly.

"You're gonna have to pay to get out." Munin glanced towards the door. "Quite a bit too."

[member="Munin"]

She snorted, body trembling against him. "Hey hey." Blonde-strands of hair fell across her speckled face. She huffed, trying to blow them away with her arms pinned against his warm chest. Knee knocked against his leg, bony-elbow into his side as she wiggled.

"I'm pretty sure YOU have to pay and are now out of all those coupons."

#duh #gigglesnort

[member="Spark Finn"]

"Nuh uh!" He told her quite confidently

His fingers wrapped a bit tighter.

"There was no use of coupons negotiated." He reminded. "This is just an after effect."

He nodded his head in confirmation to himself. This was entirely on her, not him. He smiled slightly and gently poked her side, keeping her corralled and close to him so that she wouldn't have any thoughts of wiggling away from him.

[member="Munin"]

"Pffft," she sputtered and gently batted his fingers away. "You are such a cheater. Zero. Coupons. Left." Chin tilted and her thin lips found his, giving him a long, soft kiss. Just as quickly, she slipped out of bed.

#coldcoldcold

Her nude back was to Munin. Even after all that, she still felt self-conscious. #nekked!!!! #omgee

Gangly form tiptoed quickly to the refresher.

[member="Spark Finn"]

For a second Munin didn't do anything. He simply rolled back and let out a long breath. His head sunk into the pillow behind him, a small smile perked across his lip. There wasn't really anything he could say about all of this, there wasn't really anything that he wanted to say. He was happy, content. Slowly he swiveled his gaze towards the bathroom. He supposed that they wouldn't really need the other bedroom anymore, not after...this. He smiled again, and then slowly stood.

"Wait up." He told her as he slowly began to follow her.

Munin didn't have any ideas...but...well they may as well save some water. It was the proper thing to do he thought. Waste not and all that.

#lolwut

Red flared across her pale skin. "What? No, I...I...have to pee," she turned around to block Munin at the refresher doorway. She smacked into his chest. Heel slipped slightly on the little bathroom rug. Hands tightened around Mun's waist as her center of gravity was thrown off and she threatened to take them both down on the bathroom floor.

#brrr #ouchy #stillhavetopee
