What is a Dark Apex to you guys?

I ask a simple question, what do you guys think of when I say I am a Dark Apex?

Tbh, it seems strange how the EU shown far more of Palpatine's strength than the movies, and now most of that is noncanon now. I meant something like that, but it was more like how Jink called himself a Telekinesis Apex, like, a person who only focused on one aspect of the force

Two things I'll say to that: This character has been forgotten for ages and recently brought here with a massive revamp. And I just used Jink as an example here.

To one extent or another, Power = Respect = Quantitative Effort + Sportsmanship + Writing Effort + Age + Visible Consistency + In-Character Rationale Quality. So yeah, people respect old characters...but we kinda chuckle at old characters who don't do much, or ask for respect without visible proof that a lot got done. Basically, anyone who shows up claiming to have been awesome five years ago is welcome to hop in and prove themselves based on action.

If it came across as me demanding respect, it's really not intended to sound or be that way. Had I RPed this character for those years I forgot about him, I'd show more power than I am now tbh, and this thread is simply me wondering what a darkside specialist of sorts could do power wise. So yeah, I call Anarchis a dark apex out of lack of a better wording really. If I knew a lot more about Star Wars force users, I'd know what to give Anarchis myself XD

He was downplayed in the movies because the movies downplays the Force. Force Lightning is still the craziest thing done in the movies.

Here at Chaos, we got people creating stars and eating them from the Force, giant Force monsters eating the soul of the Galaxy, an ancient AI capable of invading the galaxy out of nowhere...

Movie Apex, EU apex, and Chaos apex are 3 very different and wildly varying things.

I call myself it only because it sounds close to how this guy would be, as for actions, I'm still wondering what I'd be capable of with even a small mastery of darkside ability so I can show it without going too extreme myself. Anyway, I admit I don't feel up to par with all of you guys even with this rank, but that's due to my RPing origins being mediocre compared to most tbh. I'll show my rank, but idk how to show a specific specialization in the force yet.

I call myself the Dread Lord of the Yuuzhan Vong and there's like, no other Vong on the forum.

Just know that it's likely to impact people's perception of you both as a writer and a character. Whether you care about their perception is up to you.

I know I don't. Do what makes you happy.

Thanks, the Dark Apex thing isn't a unique thing for me to call myself either. Also, as of the thread with Technovore, I'm free from the carbonite prison, so when I think of less extreme ways to show my power either way, I'll do so just to make sure I get something good out of this rank.
