Combat Medic
Trauma Ward is a collection of volunteers who support each other in supporting the 'greater good.' In the event of a crisis (War, severe accident, cataclysm, etc), the volunteers act as first responders, or as fast as possibly can, to any situation where there are injured people; whether human, alien, or otherwise. Not always are they on-scene on on the ground of this incidents, sometimes they are nearby to events and help with vision, information, and scouting. Trauma Ward Central (TWC) might be on Coruscant, but if an incident happens on Tatooine, and an individual living on Tatooine is nearby the incident or is on-scene, may relay information to TWC and help them coordinate anything from landing zones, already made trauma centers, where was hit the most, etc.
Trauma Ward is a collection of medic teams, who operate independently and on their own, but use teamwork with themselves and other teams. Some teams may arrive earlier than others, some teams may not operate specifically with TWC, or some teams may be solo teams (less than three individuals) and may not operate on-scene but help out when they can.
Individual teams are of those individuals that assist Trauma Ward, but can not personally engage in support of incidents. These can range from any outside faction or corporation staff to civilians that assist in scouting duties (scouting duties are for those who stay out of any danger zones or combat zones but help with any available information from what they can observe).
In the middle of a catastrophe, some factions leave behind those who fight for them, maybe even call them sacrifices. But these people are not pawns. They are fathers and sons, mothers and daughters. They have a life, they have family and friends. These people are being forced to die for a war they didn't live for. None of them ever consciously were born thinking, 'I am going to be born and fight and die in a war that is not my own, and that is my purpose.' There are the occasional, and immoral, cloning practices that do such, brainwashing before they are even born, but there will always be people to do this. All we need to do is help make these people happy again.
Truly Neutral Medical Standards are a fools idea of a Perfect World. Each and every one of our teams are issued standard, light weaponry, but they can choose to refuse weapons. Trauma Ward does not fight, they defend. WHat this means is if you attack one of our staff, they are encouraged to defend thsemselves. And if you engage an injured and/or dying soldier, our staff are obligated to save that person. Once a soldier is down, let them live, they have done their duty.
