What is your character scared of?

Alexandra Feanor

The Lady in Silver/Grey Historian
So a harmless question got me thinking about this and it made me think about what my main two character's main motivations are, and from there what their fears are. Both Solan and Alexandra experience fears of theirs on such degrees that it is almost to the point of calling them mad or crazy for believing these ways, and yet it is the very thing that hinges them into the realm of sanity and gives them a reason to exist.

So without further talk, ill begin and say what my character's fears are.

Solan is scared of losing the family he so clawed to protect, and by extension it means Kesh too. He is terrified of dying without curing his daughter and is terrified of not being able to find a cure for her that could work and remain working, and as such he uses his place as king of Kesh to find a way to treat her, but as well to protect others so they do not have to go through the fear and pain he has in continuously losing family and loved ones. While his loss is not to the degree that Alexandra's is, it still effects him on a deeply personal level.

Alexandra on the other hand, is in constant and complete terror. She has been torn apart, burned, beaten, tortured, killed, revived, had her memory wiped, lost her family three times, been betrayed at every turn, thrown to the side, and simply left to be forgotten. She is terrified the Jedi will dispose of her for being a disgrace to what they believe a place in the lightside means, or simply cut her off from the force and leave her to be left alone in the galaxy. She believes the Sith will find her and simply continue their old cycle of torture, beatings, and eventually break her till shes simply ceased to exist inside. She is scared that her mind will start changing again and the old being that was called Hel will return, causing her to murder numerous people again like she used to be forced too during the terrorist days of her past. She is scared to get close to anyone just to be abandoned again. She trusts absolutely no one, she is afraid that everyone around her will simply betray her in the end, and she has no way of stopping her mind from believing this.

Alexandra is continuously left awake at nights, she is stuck in this loop of terror and paranoia, and worse yet is that the only solace she can find is in leaving her body itself to commune with the force, thus leaving herself completely defenseless. She is as scared as it comes internally, and trusts absolutely no one anymore.

So ya, that's it. Do explain your own character's fears and have fun.

OOC: I'll definitely be doing this for my other characters I hope you don't mind some clutter but it's good character development thanks for posting this.

Raachwaroo is mostly scared of loneliness. Sometimes he really needs it, but he has a problem of attracting trouble and deep down he fears that one day he'll get in over his head and be left alone in a hospital with broken legs not able to go anywhere or see anyone.

I just had an amazing idea... I'll do what you did. Instead of logging on to each character.

[member="Anton Nadramie"] is afraid of losing power and becoming a common person. Waking up to find that his kingdom is gone and he goes to work at a menial job with no future.

[member="Rose Vishkall"] is afraid of losing her master. Before her most previous roleplay she had no real reason to live as her bio will confirm but he changed her and gave her a purpose. Him dying would break her.

[member="Hastur-Yig"] finally but not least, definitely least played with though haha. Yig is afraid of dying and not living on through the force, it's a possibility that he wont and that frightens him.

Thanks for posting this hun, awesome job.

This one's going to take some thought actually, more so with this character than any other given his youth and inexperience. I think Karrus' biggest concern at this point is a mixture of loneliness but also a conflict of morality. His Pa' abandoned him and his brother, his Ma' too fragile to help them and eventually succumbed to mental illness; I think his biggest fair is being forced to do the things that his Brother has done in the past and becoming like Zarack (Afraid of giving in to the darker natures that lead to the Dark Side).

[member="Zarack Arkaos"] on the other hand is waging a personal war against life/society. He's scared of not being good enough, not living up to the potential he believes he's capable of in a life that's stacked trial upon trial against people like him and Karrus, the poor and unfortunately. Through his fears he's finding the strength to fight for what he feels he deserves and in doing so, hoping to pull others of a likely mind together in order to help them achieve the same (Outcasts of Arkaos). His biggest fear is failure, degradation and shame.

[member="Veiere Arenais"] Is far older, far more experienced and able. In his exile however, he has become wary and in the absence of the light, more prone to tethering closer to the Dark Side. His fear is that he lost something when he submitted himself to the anger and anguish he felt when the Svivren Branch was annihilated (Read his Bio for details); worried that the Lightside of the Force is no longer his path and that he is no longer fit to leave a positive impact on the Galaxy as the Jedi he used to be.

Well, previously, Werah was scared of the TU falling, and his friends dying. Unfortunately, both fears actually happened, so Werah hasn't got much to lose. If he died right now, I'd think he'd be happy. He is still scared of losing his memory, though.

Sarah is still terrified that she'll become a slave again, and she is also terrified of the hutts.

Jorthal is carefree mostly, but worries about his mother, left alone on Shiffirin. He also has a phobia of poison, and being poisoned.

[member="Vorhi Alestrani"] is afraid of the people he cares about dying, and being betrayed again. Because of this, he's basically been living as a hermit.

[member="Olom Grihk"] fears death, mainly.

Five-oh fears losing his autonomy.

[member="Olidiv Kenu"] fears being alone.

@amaranth fears...I honestly have no idea.

[member="Jeffar"] is too busy being insane to notice how scary everything is.

Jen fears life.

[member="Senji Selah"] is scared of himself and the force.

[member="Martin Mcdonafray"] is afraid of never amounting to anything significant.

All is susceptible change though.

Being a husband and father, Thurion's greatest fear is losing a loved one.

He recently lost his father, but has also lost both his biological mother - who he never knew as she died in childbirth - as well as his adoptive mother. So suffice to say he couldn't bear losing another.

Sabine is scared of her past catching up with her
Elaine Thul scared of glitter (a monster)
Harley nothing but loss of the force, she is unhinged

Fearing that he won't find some sort of Mother or Father figure in life. Being that he was raised by a couple of random people in some forest, he never met his biological parents. And without some sort of Parental Guiding figure in his life, he won't turn out well.

In all seriousness Kaine's crippling fear had been his own mortality for as long as he had been a Sith of considerable knowledge and power, a fear that he had somewhat overcome in the last couple of IC years thanks to his research and experimentation with life and death and his subsequent resurrections born from that knowledge combined with the horrendous wounds inflicted upon the fabric of space and time by the cosmic entity Akala during the Netherworld event.

He also somewhat has a fear of [member="Anaya Fen"] because of their past history and the fact that she's one of the few who makes him legitimately uneasy, the other being [member="Warok the Defiler"].

Makes me feel special. ;)

Honestly, Losing his family, losing those he cares for, and becoming the thing he hates the most.
